Big time, and don't forget the shills here like shelby and his god armstrong tweeting (they all bought before the news of course). I finally got my short closed, it came way to close to margin call 3 or 4 times but I stuck it out (went to bed and said fuck it if it hits .0014 I'll just take the hit), A perfect storm happened and that pump almost caught me. Took a few days for it to drop enough for me actually make a little and Luckily one of our members here handed me a lifeline if I needed it, but fortunately I didn't in the end.

Coinbase sucks more and more everyday and polo as well with those hidden bids and bad margin algorithms!

You need to understand when there is a hard fork it is to add to the code base or fix bugs, Monero NEVER CHANGES the blockchain!

Hardforrk that change the blockchain are the things you must worry about as they can change balances which destroys a coins reason to exist.

Maybe we should start calling it Hardspoon.

I have recommended just referring to it as scheduled update as that is what it is and people will not take any negative connotation from that description.

Yup, that is what I'm waiting on, it's a gamble getting the timing right but in the mean time the more BTC I can get the more XMR I'll have at that point.

Monero being suppressed while btc is accumulated from p&d shitcoins, so when the time comes, capital can be moved to XMR at a reasonable rate, and removed from exchanges? There's got to be a reason it is largely unaffected while everything else gets massive volume.

In Monero world there are regularly scheduled hard forks. It's just what they do, part of the deal.

Bitcoin world has done a good job of SCARING PEOPLE that hard forks are something evil to be frightened by, LOL.

Sure. We have a planned one each ~6 months.

But as I understand this hard forks will in future slow down or totally end. There is one now and one in autumn this year. Latter are none planed, unless I dont know of them. I am not saying they will not happen anymore, but for sure will be more rare then every 6 months as was lately.
