I just wanted to apologize for overall being an asshole.

I'm sure explanation is not necesarry.

Have a good day, and good luck.

Wow, I'm surprised, you seemed like you had a vendetta against him. Good job on taking responsibility and apologizing Smiley

On another note it looks like Mtrlt is playing the donation card. I tried to get mine back because I no longer have any significant gpu power and his response was "So you want a donation back?". I think that's lame, it's obvious that the vast majority of the "donaters" were actually paying for early access. I know I know, it was a risk I took but that doesn't mean refusing to give back what for all intents and purposes was a payment isn't lame. It would be nice if he would man up and just send me the BTC back.

Maybe he would transfer someone into your place, so you could sell your spot and they would get the beta instead of you...?

I don't think he even ethically obligated to do so. As long as he holds up his end of the understanding, to give you early access to the beta, then not reasonable to ask for donation back since your personnal situation changed. He already spent the time make the miner afterall.

He doesn't have to. It is simply more a manner of honesty, and asking nicely.

How long will this be in closed beta? Even with only 2x more efficiency, when all those gpu miners on litecoin and others hash coins switch to XPM, it will make a huge difference in the total hashrate.

Hey Mtrlt,

I was wanting to donate to get early access a few weeks ago, but was never confirmed whether it was too late or not.
Is it too late or can I still donate?

How's the performance?
At this time, the GPU miner is pretty far from killing off CPU miners. More optimizations needed.

So where is the source Luke? =D

Well done Mtrlt Smiley

Now patiently waiting for the opportunity to be able to beta test the gpu miner Wink

Has it gone out to the paying 'beta-testers'?

I've no axe to grind, I'd just like to know the current situation, as I'm sure most of us would.

Hope real-life continues to get better.

Same here, don't know if the worst is over. But believe every time we will become stronger.
Congrats on your progress, mtrlt.  I hope all the cynicism and dickery doesn't way you down too much.

Take care of yourself.

Cheers.
Thanks for the kind words. Smiley

What i'm wondering is why you would say you don't want to talk instead of not talking...

Its because you didn't get my point after 2 messages, so there is no point in wasting more time trying to explain you how things work. You woudn't understand it even if I presented you with facts and financial analysis or whatever.

Since there is no need for such argument, I decided to let you know that I am not interested.

I agree that VPS are getting less and less profitable unless they have 16 core at least, and add up the fact that GPU miner looks promising.

No, the price is kept up by people willing to pay that money for them, not by the price of mining cost.

you're not interested as you said Smiley

Let us talk and begone !

I was not interested to continue conversation with you. That's all.

People are definitely not paying that much because they would feel like they have to sponsor vps miners, but because the coin has interesting properties and attributes.
