I do not think ripple is really better coin than ethereum. Nor is ethereum. Both have different features and they are good in their place.

Well, ripple has its own uses, just like eth. ethereum was created for smart contracts... ripple was created for the banking sector. Hence, it is almost impossible to tell which is better since they both have different roles to play in the blockchain economy. Comparing eos and eth would have been a better pair. Having said that, my belief is, the rank of a coin on cmc doesn't prove its superiority over others. Superiority is proven with a real-world utility which ethereum seems to have more than ripple. Hence, even though eth and xrp have different functions, in terms of utility, eth is better

Even at the coinmarketcap the no. 2 was XRP I doubt this will take long this is obviously just a temporarily only, for me ETH still the no. 2 because comparing to XRP, Ethereum was more useful than to it in terms of giving services for every new ico project here in the forum.

maybe the number for the CMC XRP coin order may be superior for now compared to ETH, but in my opinion ETH will not lose to XRP because the ETH interface has already been used by other ALTcoin for their iCO development. for the past year many ALTcoin have adopted ETH on CMC lines but they cannot match ETH for now.
No I don't think so what is XRP? who use it ? there are many bots which support XRP its fully centralised so most of coins are in hands of few people so how it can be good when they can speculate with the price, they have good marketing that is why they can do what they do and support of some banks, thats is all.
