I think Ripple can not hold its position for long time because it maid its last gains because some people were shilling it as alternative of Bitcoin, but who can replace the king?

I see bigger potentional in Ripple. Ripple is closer to massive adoption than Ethereum. Many banks signed partnership with Ripple and maybe soon Ripple Xrapid will replace SWIFT payments.
For this year, I would say that XRP is better than Ethereum in terms of price and return on investments. On the other hand, if ethereum recovers, it may surpass Ripple again as what it did for a few years. We all know that Ethereum can bounce back and its still the most used alternate coin. Its Ethereum's platform being used by majority of crypto is a huge advantage. Ethereum is just on its depressed moments but when it goes back up, it will be hard for Ripple to dethrone ETH.
Although I do not use XRP, I cannot lie to myself and say it is worse than Ethereum. Ripple is used by many rich people and the most famous companies. It has all the chances to go to the Moon next year.

That's right, for now compared to the obvious market share Ripple outperformed Ethereum with a market share difference of around three billion dollars. The price of Ethereum is down significantly with some of the problems they face, from inflation and other problems.
But with the announcement of the Ethereum 2.0 project, I think Ethereum's price will rise in the coming months.

I think the application of ETH is bigger than XRP, ETH has the smart contract platform for many DAPP, XRP mainly applied to banks with proprietary money transfer protocol. They target different goals.

Technically, of course not. Ethereum is a very cool project, at least from the technical part. There are problems in management, but the project itself is good.

I think ETH is still better to XRP because even its having a a falling price, I think it can recover. The only advantage of XRP nowadays its gradually become popular and since many people are getting interested to it, many people are starting to trust this crypto. But still I will keep believing to ETH because I know it has a potential and possible to back and rise again.
XRP is at top 2 on https://coinmarketcap.com/ because it has bigger market cap than ETH now, it doesn't mean that XRP is better than ETH. I think XRP is as good as ETH and i support both of them.

It's a natural thing if slowly people start putting trust in XRP increases, I think that XRP does get stronger, the team has a good performance and this is an achievement, eth is still strong but investor confidence is decreasing with many scam projects and unfavorable.
Actually, for now XRP is better than ETH, but because ETH is getting weaker, if ETH can recover then I think ETH will return to take XRP position. but indeed I admit that XRP is a very good coin.
