Hi curious,
Can you explain the percentages? I'm not following the relationship between diff, EH/s, and %
Or if it's easier, is there a resource I can read to fill myself in?
I programmed this myself, you can join Telegram channel to read this:
https://t.me/BitcoinCoreNotificationsIts four times a day, read only report of Bitcoin network.
I also programmed another one to show prices of selected cryptocurrencies, read only as well, only in GBP, my local currency:
https://t.me/CryptocurrencyPricesChannelOk, lets analyze it:
Difficulty: 28174668481289.41 - as seen everywhere on webpages, and your Bitcoin Core client. This is what your share diff must be in order to hit solo block
Difficulty target: 201 EH/s - this I calculated with this bot on Telegram channel, this is equivalent of hashrate to mine exactly one block every 10 minutes at current difficulty. Very useful, to see network strength in current 2-week window
Difficulty target: 201 EH/s
1w: 201 (0%)
1mo: 208 (-3%)
3mo: 223 (-9%)
6mo: 191 (5%)
1yr: 103 (95%)
These are historical values of Difficulty target in EH/s. Meaning, one month ago network was hashing at 208 EH/s and today its 201 EH/s. 3% drop. But in one year, network doubled from 103 to 201 EH/s, 95% gain.
Network hashrate: 206 EH/s
1d: 201 (2%)
1w: 191 (7%)
1mo: 212 (-2%)
3mo: 198 (4%)
6mo: 175 (17%)
1yr: 102 (101%)
And lastly, dynamic network hashrate as read from my Bitcoin Core client. This value fluctuates a lot and it shows current flow of blocks and its rate as seen by network. Its also calculated in EH/s, showing true size of network.
