Yes, learn to control yourself during gambling is difficult enough because the feeling of excitement can overshadow other feelings that help make rational decisions, but once you learn to do it gambling will appear before you in a completely different light. In fact, a person who has learned to control himself and his desires can get a lot more advantages, not just a responsible attitude to gambling. So in my opinion it is a very useful life experience.

This is the most difficult part of gambling despite exploring all the techniques it would still require some discipline for one to be able to control himself over the kind of amount they should gamble with and also how regularly they should place bet in a day, week and month. That is why whatever that makes a gambler strike a winning it gives them more confident and hope to put more effort to continuously gamble.

From what I could see in all these years that I had addicted relatives, the only way that will be effective is taking the person addicted to gambling and putting him in the rehabilitation hospital, but it must be in those hospitals where they have high security and that isolate the gambling addict so that the gambling addict does not have any cell phone access that has access to the internet, the internet has to be banned, the gambling addict cannot be allowed to see some news about games related to gambling and casinos, they cannot let the addict talk too much with other fellow addicts, at least these tough measures need to be put in place for a long time

this is because after months the person addicted to gambling will start to be able to live without having to gamble, he will get used to a life without gambling, and it is true that even then he will need to stay in the hospital for at least 2 to 3 years to stop completely the addiction, the problem is that if that person has a job, unfortunately, he will lose his job, but in my opinion it's better that way, because that person could start stealing and even in the most extreme cases that person would be kept by money to be able to sustain the addiction, It is for this same reason that the relatives of addicted people must be very brave and take tough measures and when I talk about tough measures I am not talking about sending the addicted relative away from home.

the problem of many families is that they want to solve everything with violence, and this makes the person in the family who is addicted to be afraid and to ask family members for help because they know that when they tell them they have an addiction, they will suffer physical aggression, I myself have seen this in my country and I am shocked, people in my country even kill addicts who steal

Taking away the internet access might sound like a good idea for immediate help of a gambling addict, because the easiest access to gambling is visiting an online casino. The problem however is that in today’s world most of us need access to the internet for work and we can't just take it away and not be reachable anymore by our boss. Losing your job to get rid of a gambling addiction sounds like a very drastic move and maybe we should try other things first. How about limiting the bank account to a physical only account without online banking, you would need to visit the bank branch every time you want to withdraw money and it's harder to transfer money to the online casino. Or how about you ask a relative to manage your finances for a few months for you until you get back on track. If our brother or sister manages all the finances and only gives us a weekly allowance in cash than we also are less at risk to gamble away the money. Finding an approach that doesn't restrict our internet access should also help us in the long run, because eventually we will have to go back to using the internet. There is no point in living without the internet forever in today’s world. Maybe for the first few weeks, living somewhere else without the internet is a good idea to break the habit of gambling every day, but we still need to find a new way to live our everyday life without the risk of falling back into the old routine.

For people who have drug addiction like the example you gave, they are easier to detect that they are addicted. As for gambling, I think they are more difficult to detect. Well you are right that it comes back to themselves that a strong intention will be able to help them, but intention alone is not enough because there must be direct action that they do. Like a small thing for example, I can intend to stop gambling, but if I never take action then it's just nonsense. It's going to be a lot harder anyway, maybe more extreme they should go to a psychiatrist.

Actually it's hard for the drug addicted to know that they are get addicted.Because if they come to know that, they can easily come from the addiction.Like wise the gambling addiction also not easily felt by the gambler. You can find whether you get addicted by checking your daily deposits. When you are not able to deposit above the daily limit,if any of you feel this it mean you are in the addiction of gambling. Some of the people get addicted sometimes due to the first loss from the gambling. They can't accept the first loss from the gambling and they will keep try to get back the loss money.
No, what I mean here is that other people detect it, not the person themselves. Drug addicts can usually be seen from physical changes or other things that we can see with the naked eye. I have never seen a person who is addicted to drugs, but I often see from television shows or news media that mention the characteristics of a drug addict.
It's different with people who are addicted to gambling, they probably won't have any changes in their physique, one of the things we can detect is from their finances. And from their finances it is difficult actually, because we cannot say with certainty that their financial problems are caused by their gambling habit.

Obviously, it is difficult for a gambling addict to know he has a gambling addiction. The ones who could see him were other people who kept observing what he was doing before and during the gambling game. But that other person also can't monitor him 24 hours because other people also have other activities. But if indeed a gambling addict can feel that he has experienced gambling addiction, he should immediately tell the people around him and ask for help so he can cure it before it's too late. And it seems that if we have the desire to return to gambling, that is already a sign that we are addicted to gambling but we don't realize it. And if we notice it, we must stop it quickly.

Yes, I agree with that that saying is easier than doing, and I have also said that theorizing is easier than practicing, and this is indeed what happens in the field. Indeed, for those of us who already know the formulation of the problem, we will be able to control it all, even if we do not completely stop gambling, but we know what limits we should not exceed. We set rules for ourselves.
For those who are already addicted, it will be more difficult. Quitting completely is obviously going to be difficult, and they can start by reducing the intensity of their gambling and the intensity of their gambling.
Once someone get addicted to anything, it's hard to come back from it. It is also difficult for those who are addicted in gambling and try to  come back from gambling. In case of drug addiction drugs are not easily removed from a drug addict, it is very difficult for those who become addicted to gambling to stay away from gambling. To succeed in gambling, an addict must understand things completely or else he will not be able to come out of this situation. It is very difficult for him to give up gambling.

Difficult or not it also depends on how they intend, if you really want to quit the addiction you have to have a strong desire to change. Must undergo some rehabilitation to make himself controlled and can stay away from gambling. this also requires support from the closest people so that addiction does not become something that is detrimental. Addiction will be dangerous for anyone. experiencing gambling addiction will result in dissatisfaction in every gambling bet, even they don't have a penny and finally commit crimes to be able to get money so they can gamble. Stopping or limiting gambling is a choice.

That is a cruel thing if torture gambling addicts with violence. Because all problems can be solved without violence, like rehabilitation as your example. But, maybe not all countries have such a place where can treat addiction. For example, In my country, there is a place where a person who has a mental disorder which doesn't have money for rehabilitation on the hospital, then the family makes own decision to shackling his legs. I've seen this, which I think is a ruthless way of solving problems.

Main goal.of gambling is to give a satisfaction to the people who wants to play gambling some of them treat this as an entertainment purpose only but some of them make this too much serious they made the game as source of income reason why they urge to win but it's gambling the assurance right there is quite small unlike taking a business. In that case people keep chasing their losses and hoping to hit a jackpot in some point it's true but it does not always happen the house always wins the game.
Gambling is an entertainment but only few people treat it as that because most gambler see it as a way to escape from their lifestyle which there are not satisfied with and they can only achieved this by hitting a huge win and this huge win is very hard especially when you are a gambler with an expectation of always winning. It's very hard to win against the house even though in some cases you might be lucky but an annoying fact still stand and that's the fact that the money won will still always circle back to the house being victorious.

I think gambling was entertainment when only rich people could do it. Gambling is never entertainment for regular people or poor people. They see it as get rich quick scheme which might genuinely work. Little do they know that almost every gambling game is rigged and there is a very little chance that they will make a fortune out of it. They go in and put in their hard earned money and eventually lose. And in the end “the house always wins“. And if you look at the owners and sponsors of these casinos, most of them are rich people. Well, obviously they are going to be rich because they are the owners. But what I am trying to say is that the system is basically screwing up poor people and giving rich people their money in real time. and no one can call it a scam because the poor people are basically giving away their money. It is not a crime when there is consent from the victim.

Well but to prevent all of that it seems very difficult indeed. I have a coworker and he is an active gambler and can also be said to be addicted, every time he tries to stop for example a week not gambling he says that it's like something is missing from his life, maybe he has brought gambling into a part of his life and he finds it difficult not to do that activity, or maybe it's because he has considered gambling as a regular income for him even though the reality is losing again. Like I said before that no one wants to be stuck there, I'm sure their normal mind knows about what's best for them but their lust has led them into the black spot of gambling so they are stuck and it's hard to go back. The only step that can be done is to utilize self-control, nothing more than that.
Although it is difficult but nothing is impossible if one has the determination to quit, don't think too much about the big win there but think about the big risk.
If someone wants to start quitting gambling, it's important to acknowledge that you have a problem and that you want to make a change. You may create a plan for how you'll quit. This might involve setting goals, finding support from friends and family, and seeking professional help if necessary. It's also important to avoid triggers that might tempt you to gamble, such as specific places or people.

I don't know how many times I have already said the phrase, "It is easier said than done," but that is a fact we cannot deny when giving someone a tip on how to quit gambling. But it is fine as long as they believe quitting gambling is a process and stumbling along the way is okay. The important thing is to keep trying and never give up on your goal of living a life free from the negative effects of too much gambling.

The mistake of a gambler is when they make gambling the main source of making money and put it as the main goal in their life. When they make gambling the main activity in their life, of course there are many things they will sacrifice and that includes family. So there's no need to be surprised that most of the addicted gamblers don't have a good relationship with their families, because they really don't put it as a priority in their lives anymore.

That is what they failed to think because they haven't thought about it clearly and carefully before they started their career towards gambling, there may be some who had a successful path towards gambling but only selected few ones were able to pull that off but we cannot say that they haven't been through any difficulties. Even the successful gamblers like professional gamblers have their own investments on the side or other priorities in life that make them money because they know that gambling is not a long term thing.

I was already sure that there will be many gamblers who feel the same way. It is the first step of a gambler going into a black hole if they can't fight such feelings.
Of course no one wants to be trapped in a situation like this, but indeed some people have already entered into it and believe me when you have entered it will be difficult to get out, unless you can be strong to control yourself. Because if people get carried away once, then the same thing will most likely happen again at a different time.
And it is because of this that gamblers need to avoid reaching that point, as once you have some problems to leave gambling behind and stop gambling for any period of time then things will get progressively harder, a few decades ago this was not as dangerous as gambling was not so widespread, but when you have access to thousands of casinos all over the world every single day of the week then this means that even the smallest weakness on your personally can be more than enough to take a path of no return, and eventually become addicted to gambling.
I do agree with all of that.
It starts with a small bet and then it goes further especially when we are losing while we are trying to chase back what was lost.
With so many options of gambling sites on the internet to pick from, I bet some gamblers are also trying to jump from one casino to another trying to test their luck.
Recently, I read one guy in a conflict about how it went with another gambling site and I was actually shocked that many gamblers also shared their grief and the site that was being discussed. For some reason, I don't do this because there's a chance addiction will be more prone after losing to a lot of gambling sites and chasing all that was lost. IMO, it's not a healthy action, and sticking with one, and waiting for the RTP to click is better than that.

yes, it's true, as a gambler I also feel that the desire to gamble again when losing is always there, but it depends on how we control it, for me personally I will not follow my emotions let alone the desire to beat the casino chasing the money that has run out before, just watch many people who do that in the end they are defeated over and over again.

Luckily I have control over my bets by limiting my budget for gambling, so when I reach my daily budget limit of course I will stop not caring about the feeling of wanting to play again with myself so I have to be diverted so I don't follow my emotions and try not to care about it, it's true that it's normal that feeling is there when we lose, but in the end everything returns to their respective intentions and their way of recording
So it's a normal thing that can happen to every gambler, especially if they experience loss. The desire will always arise, but we must control it so that it does not cause us to experience greater losses. And with our experience, we should be able to handle it well and have no problems with self-control.

And making budget restrictions is needed so that we don't cross the line in gambling. And those of us who have often experienced loss should be able to hold back our emotions or the desire to keep playing if the limit is almost reached. But we must continue exercising self-control because gambling will surely tempt us to return.

Not only in gaming but in all of our activities, balance is essential. Perhaps we are speaking the same language? However, it is crucial to comprehend the mechanics and the method

It is good to draw lessons from the past. We may, er, study the murky elements of our prior efforts. In this manner, even if we trip over a branch or stumble over pebbles, we will know how to, uh, glance up at the sky? There is always space for improvement. Additionally, I think we can develop ways to gamble sensibly, which is quite important

deposit ceilings? Yes, that is a commendable method. Similar to eating cookies, you should only eat a few and not the whole jar. Or perhaps you should not pour a bucket of water all at once when you have one? Gambling follows the same rules. In any case, the key is to encourage and uphold responsible gaming practices. It's similar to caring for a plant at a casino. Sort of
Yes, a balance is necessary so that something we don't want doesn't happen. But it also requires practice which we must do often to master well. And taking lessons from the past as learning is an effort to improve ourselves in everything we will do in the future.
