It is an issue for a few coins, final solution involves a hard fork
(that and other updates being worked out by Rent_A_Ray our Dev)

Easy fix use the auto restart or download the blockchain.
It has only been an issue for someone downloading the blockchain without using the monthly download. Once you get synced for the 1st time, you no longer need the script.

? You've actually written a script to periodically kill and restart the Zeitcoin client?  This is a known issue?

Use the Auto restart script file , so you don't have to do it manually.

Window Users :  Start SyncZeit.bat (Needs to be in the same directory as zeitcoin-qt.exe)

It will automatically restart hourly , once the Zeitcoin wallet is Fully Synced
(There will be a green check Mark in the lower right hand side of the screen) .
Close the Zeit Wallet and close SyncZeit script window.

Make sure Zeitcoin is closed
Then Unpack and copy & replace the files from Zeitcoin-Blockchain into
C:\Users\"username"\AppData\Roaming\Zeitcoin
Then open Zeitcoin and it will start syncing the BlockChain from May 10th, 2015 instead of the start.

Is there a current bootstrap available? All 3 download URLs at http://www.zeit-coin.net/update-instructions/ are showing file not found.

I'm struggling to sync because my client is only processing 500 blocks at a time. It accepts the 500, then seems to do nothing. I've left it a couple of times for 12+ hours and nothing changes; it only processes the first 500. I've also tried tying it to a specific IP, just in case another one was "poisoning" my sync, but again it will only process 500.

Database is a few months behind, so it's not practical to keep stopping and restarting the client.

Im out of town the next 2 days and will only be around here and there. Next opportunity with a trusted connection ill check on the zeit wallet

Cryptsy wallet was offline at block 1443740 , so any transaction not confirmed before that block # will not show up , until they finish their maintenance.

Sometimes they're very slow. They have their own confirmation system.
How long did you wait?

the funds haven't arrived, although the transaction is shown as confirmed. It has happened in the past, when the wallet was in maintenance. This time I am surprised, because wallet status is fine (blue).

Could you please specify your problem?

I have problems with Cryptsy wallet, my new ZEIT is now in limbo. I opened a ticket, will notify about the progress. Anybody had recently problems with Cryptsy?
