Zeit wallet is so slow! 60 minutes to sync back 20 hours (2k blocks) with 5 active connections.

1. Be sure your wallet is locked /encrypted
(Unlocked wallets try to stake and that slows down the sync.)
2. Be sure you have open your firewall, so it is not blocking other wallets.
In windows, control panel, windows firewall, click allow a program thru windows firewall, add zeitcoin
ZEIT has a 30 second block speed, so the coin transfers are very fast, side effect it takes longer to sync.
Click on Help and debug window and you can watch it sync the blocks at Last Block Time.
If it does not update Last Block Time after ~10 minutes, then a restart of the zeitwallet would help speed it up.
Update FYI:
Just did a sync test with a locked wallet, It took 24 minutes to sync 24 hours worth.
So basically about 1 hour was synced per minute during the test.
10 connections were active and it was with the last wallet code released, that used DNS seeds instead of irc.
* one more thing you can test , is be sure you downloaded the DNSseed version from the website, then rename your peers.dat to peers.old , start the dnsseed version and it will create a new peers.dat and see if that improves your sync time. *
Someone is definitely trying to suppress us. And that's fine. We have bounced back from worse than this before.
