Why not wait with that till we've switched fully to the new version. AFTER that we could bother Poloniex 
At the moment there is no considerable coding progress with Zeitcoin since I am busy with an important project in my RL job which requires my full support.

I filled out the add request at Poloniex, but when I hit submit the screen went blank, so I'm not sure if it was actually submitted or not. On another note, our 24-hour volume has been real nice today. We briefly hit a 1,000 BTC marketcap!

As a member and holder from the first days of this coin, I am happy that there is still a good team supporting it.

An asset's growth is a function of several factors and one of them is timing. While I was content with the fact that there was no rush to list the coin in earlier and more unstable days, I do believe that now it is the right time to push forward.

The cryptocurrency space is in a great moment, with a lot of new investors that are looking for new opportunities, especially long term ones.

The weak hands are long gone, and the ground seems to be ready a significant growth. A higher market capitaliztion means more attention and more influx of funds.

Listing the coin on Poloniex would be a very positive step, and holding your coins will result in higher value.

I would love to hear others' opinion on the matter.

I think maybe the OP is confusing you a bit. The 25% stake is long since past. Right now we are at 5% interest with a soon-to-be change to ultra-low inflation, which is .0005% per year (someone correct me if I'm wrong). All you need to do to stake is have a balance and have your wallet opened, sync'd, and unlocked.

Poloniex would be nice, eventually. They are a tough nut to crack though. Right now we are listed at some good exchanges and have had some nice volume lately. We should focus on that for now.

NEW Wallet: Install Instructions
Make a Zeitcoin folder under C:\Users\"username"\AppData\Roaming\
Then Extract and copy the files from ZeitcoinBlockchainSnapShot.rar into
C:\Users\"username"\AppData\Roaming\Zeitcoin
Then open Zeitcoin and it will start syncing the BlockChain from the last snapshot.

ACTIVE Wallet:Install Instructions ,
(Be sure to have a backup of your Wallet.dat 1st)
Make sure Zeitcoin is closed
Go under c:\Users\"username"\AppData\Roaming\Zeitcoin (for Windows) or in the Zeitcoin data folder for other OSes
Then Delete 4 files : .lock & blk0001.dat & db.log & debug.log
Then Delete 2 folders named : database & txleveldb
Then Extract and copy the files from ZeitcoinBlockchainSnapshot into
C:\Users\"username"\AppData\Roaming\Zeitcoin
Then open Zeitcoin and it will start syncing the BlockChain from the last snapshot.

Once your Zeit Wallet is completely Synced.
Check your Balance, if the Balance is incorrect.
Click on Help, click Debug Window, click Console,
type in repairwallet and hit enter, then check your Balance
If Balance is still not correct.
Then From a Command Prompt run zeitcoin-qt.exe -rescan
will take a little while but should correct your balance info.

After you have installed the snapshot, it should start syncing (should only be 1 or 2 hours to sync from yesterday's snapshot)
Click on Help, Debug, and you can look at last block time to see it sync.
