I will choose 1 BTC, because choosing BTC is a great way to get more profit and its huge value.
Split it and consider both? I mean it could be that bitcoin skyrockets but Im afraid of its outdated tech. Ethereum will always have new Dapps.

But you know that with 10 etherum he will earn more cause etherum will be one of the most "pumped" coins in 2018 imo and 10 etherum is much better than buying one bitcoin.
Both of them can make you a rich man in a few years. But for this you must be patient. And I recommend you buy bitcoin and ETH. It seems to me that this will be correct 
Personally I think that with BTC futures being traded the bankers will try to kill off bitcoin and now they can legally do it. We have just witnessed a great short.

5 months elapsed. Do not know if you have invested ETH or BTC. But at the present time, of course buy 10 ETH. Because 2018 ETH can increase to $ 2,000 per ETH and will not stop. I think in 2018 BTC will not grow as strongly as in 2017. Therefore investing in ETH is reasonable

For btc, $50k border is a hard one but it's possible still. We saw it broke the $19k border down last year. It could do this easily with a market support behind. To answer the question, I would go for 1 btc at the moment.

Bitcoin is my favorite. I think Bitcoin is much better than ETH.And Bitcoin will be very expansive from 10 ETH.It will take as much time to increase the price of ETH, I do not think it will take that time to increase the price of Bitcoin.
Bitcoin is the main Crypto-Currency, the best one. Some people like to invest in ETH or diversify funds among different currencies, but I personally would prefer for now to put all my tickets in BTC. The price will probably increase a lot in few months (who knows, maybe 50%-100%), I'm not sure if ETH has the same potential... I don't think so.

Ethereum is actually a good coin to invest with.
But comparing it to bitcoin, ofcourse I will go in BTC.
It has a higher price and an ability to grow faster.
While ethereum is a steady coin, that increase little by little.
So, if im going to choose I will go with the bitcoin and support it until the end.

of course, prefer 10 ethereum because price alone can already compete with other coins. In addition, ethereum also will certainly be more than the price in bitcoin of course.
If I were you I would invest in ETH because the price is still a lot lower than bitcoin and i think the flippening will happen soon maybe in 2018, ethereum will have a lots of new update...no more proof of work mining, faster transaction ...etc
I prefer the ethereum due course in future more will be promising ethereum than bitcoin. and it could also bitcoin will drop away from the current price.
If I will choose between the two, I will choose 1 BTC and hold and use it for a long-term hold. Because BTC is growing faster than ETH even though you multiply it by ten, 1 BTC will still win.
Of course, I would choose a bitcoin, because at present a bitcoin is much higher than 10 Etherum. With 1 bitcoin you can spend a whole lot of money to buy 10 Etherum and the rest you can still buy other altcoins. For me both of this coins are good to invest for a long term profit. But bitcoin now is too expensive to buy and invest . Etherium is the best to buy at the moment because its value is not too high and it does not reach $1000. In a couple of years etherium will boom on its value and it can double or triple its profit. 1 bitcoin today is equavalent to almost 10x the etherium.
