I'm having good luck mining ETC and seems to be showing some decent growth since the announcement of being listed on coinbase in the coming months.

No one was mining BTCZ after the fork? Difficulty was really low and price is moving upwards. Team red is still out after the algo change
I am mining that other 144,5 coin that also forked and gives solid profit per card in this dark times ;DTeam red is already in play but its private miner that its being sold only to large farms(dont know the price really)

At the moment I'm mining Raven.  It's a good coin and has a bright future but I wish there were more options.  This is a bad time for mining.

Really now? Mining Raven right now isn't profitable and even if it does have a bright future it make more business sense to mine the most profitable coin then simply use it to convert into Raven. I highly suggest that you do the necessary research when it comes to mining profitability.

Just friendly advice to help you anyway, take it or leave it, its up to you.

I can only agree. If you look at https://whattomine.com/ the best option there is verge with just a profit of 1$ to 2$ per day. Hopefully there will come better times.

Do you guys only lowering the TDP for optimal efficiency? Or do you actually change the voltage? If so, how?

At least translate him the answer from Russian to English! lol
@Mapuo we're changing the TDP. Personally I've never increased or decreased the voltage and in most cases I'm able to reach higher hashrates than some other users are reporting, so I guess whatever I'm doing, I'm doing it right!!

Depending on the algo, I've found that the most optimal efficiency is between 72% - 80% TDP.

My settings now are:

TDP: 75%

Core: +130

Memory: +100

Fan speed: 70
Temperature is between 55-65 for 3 cards mining ZEC, 730-750 sol.

Not sure how to messaure the watt usage since the miner I use don't show it.
actually, we're mining ethereum now...

You can be guaranteed that if someone does find a coin with a decent ROI, they won't be posting about it. As soon as a coin gets out onto one of the calculators, R.I.P. your ROI. Too many miners have mined and immediately sold to pay for their cards, this can only mean downward pressure on every single coin out there.

Exactly this. Too many miners that dump everything they mine is a huge pressure for every new mineable coin.

I second this. Lately, a secretly mined coin of mine was posted here on the forum and for awhile, it's value rose about around 10%. However, overtime, and probably because of miner's selling pressure, it gradually decreased to the point where it was even lower than original.

If you see your secret coin posted here on the forum, don't reply or make a post on the thread because it will only push the topic further upwards and more people will read and mine it. Instead, just pm the author and ask them to take it down! It's a dog-eat-dog world.

Which miner currently prefered with 1080Ti for lyra2v2 mining ?
 ccminer-alexis-1.3 / ccminer-hsr-alexis-(x86, cuda8) / ccminer tpruvot 2.2.5

i'm using ccminer alexis, i've tested few month back and it was the fastest one which is available for free.. maybe there is a better and faster payed version of ccminer fork. but i do know nothing about it

Im using Excavator Cuda 9.1 and getting 76MH/s, per 1080ti overclocked to +120/+200 and TDP 82%, and getting 1.95MH/s on Neoscrypt using Excavator too.

What hashrate you getting for alexis?

Mining established coin will usually bring you exact profit as stated in calculators, mining some new coin will maybe bring you enormous profit in a long run or you will be left with not even zero value , but minus from your electricity cost. Its a gamble after all...

Hello Guys

I have got 8 Zotac 1080 TI AMP Extreme
What do you think will be the most profitable coin to mine with those GPUs at the moment
Unfortunately i learned that there are so many small cap coins which are not listen on whattomine which are way more profitable
Your advise will be highly appreciated

Thanks!
Your best chance for high profits are shitcoin at this moment but no one can really tell you wich one will be profitable its up to you to do your own research. For example shitcoin with high chances for succes is raven but dont expect it to roi your cards in 3 months on it
