So guys how are your cards after at least a year long period in the mines,everything still working fine?For me only thing that i noticed is that i cant overclock some of the cards like i used to do since my profiles are saved in msi ab(like -14 mhz per card but thats not really a big thing).Zotac amp extreme/strix oc are the models that i have

After exactly a year of mining, my 1080tis are pretty much the same. Dustier inside, but hashrate is fine.

Your -14 mhz situation is unique though. It could be that your cards and clock settings are not the problem. Theres actually lots of other factors that could come into play like evolving mining software demands, coin difficulty, among others. Although I would recommend cleaning your GPUs with a can of air or leaf blower.

I have 2 FTW3 and 4 SC "Black Edition" cards in one RIG. Using DTSM 0.6.1 (250Watt, Clock +85, Mem +850) I get:

Code:
>  GPU0  56C  95% |  757.4 Sol/s   767.7 Avg   409.0 I/s | 3.08 S/W  253 W |  5.24  100  38 ++
>  GPU1  58C  95% |  771.1 Sol/s   768.2 Avg   411.0 I/s | 3.09 S/W  245 W |  2.99  100  30
>  GPU2  53C  95% |  778.9 Sol/s   782.7 Avg   416.2 I/s | 3.16 S/W  245 W |  4.52  100  26 +
>  GPU3  55C  95% |  777.4 Sol/s   780.0 Avg   416.0 I/s | 3.17 S/W  254 W |  0.75  100  41 +
>  GPU4  60C  95% |  771.0 Sol/s   780.2 Avg   414.4 I/s | 3.13 S/W  255 W |  6.77  100  39
>  GPU5  56C  95% |  780.7 Sol/s   777.1 Avg   413.4 I/s | 3.14 S/W  251 W |  2.57  100  40

Can I ask you what drivers/overclocker are you using mate? got a rig with 2 FTW3 and 4 SC Black and I can't get them past +70 on core/+300 on memory, they get crazy. And btw got them at your same temps :|

Same problem here. I have a couple of EVGA 1080ti SC Blacks and i can never get them stable past 300+ memory. Curious as to whether the date of purchase is related to GPU capability, and whether i got a bad batch that has limited hashrate. Running at around ~700 sols only on equihash.

Good thing i found a secret coin to mine though which has helped it stay profitable.

Temps (throttled @ 65) are a bit of a problem lately, summer is coming.

Using (Ubuntu) Linux, latest driver available (ppa:graphics-drivers/ppa). No special overclocker, just the settings below.

Code:
DISPLAY=:0 /usr/bin/nvidia-settings -a GPUGraphicsClockOffset[3]=85       >/dev/null 2>&1
DISPLAY=:0 /usr/bin/nvidia-settings -a GPUMemoryTransferRateOffset[3]=850 >/dev/null 2>&1

what is the equihash hashrate on the evga 1080 ti SC? On the Evga 1080 ti gaming ftw3 it is 720.

Not all cards hash the same so was looking to pick up some evga SC cards but not if they are hashing lower than 700

I have the same question. Read that alexis is the best now, but it doesn`t work, or it needs more time to repair it.
Please, don't stop looking for the best lyra2z miner. I have 4.6 on gtx 1080 ti with free product.
Can you PM it? I`ve got 3.2MH max only and I think, I tried most of free miners and haven`t get smth near 4MH ever.

I will be buying a bunch of 1080 Ti's and I love do it at between zpool and miningpoolhub as well. It seems like zpool has more algo's/coins but has higher fees and the owner have nice source code. Miningpoolhub has less algo's/coins but has lower fees and the owner have nice source code too.

If I remember correctly, MPH is recommending DJM34 miner for a reason.

Also keep in mind that even Tpruvot has original implemented Djm34 in his ccminer for Lyra2z.
Don't know if someone has additionally optimised his code from that time till now...I cannot find any release statements regarding Lyra2z from that time till current date in any new release.

With 1080TI we try to max out with other algo.
If you are diehard ETH, dual mine with other altcoin is nice as this ti can do much more on dual mine vs others
The facts still remained the profitability has dropped since last two weeks. Have to face reality
But i am very curios how the other guy claim thry can do 500 dgb a day. Will be nice if he can share his trick

I use the 1080Ti mining ZEC at the moment. Do you think it is more profitable to mine other coins?

I like ZEC too... Good long term potential imho
It gives at less 20-25% under then shitcoins. Of course, if you don`t want to spend your time at boards - you can mine ZEC or ETH, but you laziness steals your money.

It won't make big difference. It'd would also depend on how much of another coin you'd accumulate before trading it. If you instately exchange small quanities into ZEC, you lose a lot in fees and you might end up getting less ZEC compared to the amount you'd get by mining it directly.

On the other hand if you keep mining another coin until you accumulate a big amount and then trade it, you risk big changes in the prices... either ZEC going up and you'll be able to buy less, or the coin you mine going down. Ofcourse in this case the whatever-coin you mine could go high faster than ZEC and you get a good deal out of it, but that's a 50-50 luck based.

If you have a big rig and you can accumulate shitcoins fast and sell them in big amounts, then do that. Otherwise stick to mining ZEC.
