I hope there is something wrong w/ your stats. 530 MH/s?

Check again sweetie

Try to keep up.  I know it is tough but threads work in chronological order.  See the posts below my post occurred later in time.  Your post was neither relevant nor timely.

Just started the unit.  Give it about 20 minutes for the pool to normalize the hashrate.

Gotcha.  lolz on the pic btw.

Hi Fred, here's another photo...  three units working in tandem...  with their front covers off.  Feel free to post.  We'll begin shipments on Monday. We've been doing a lot of hand work with the assembly over here and it's been slow.  Next runs are starting their process now in Asia where we'll catch up with the schedule.

Regards,

I Know that everyone is waiting to see these...

Hey fred0,

How about an update? Did they come through with a tracking number today?

Well things aren't looking so good for that ship date. Especially considering their rep that was on these forums has disappeared.

I have a hunch that if they had good updates for us they would announce them.

We "trolled" them to death by asking legit related questions... They never bothered to start a new thread but bothered to pay Google to advertise their website in October...

I bet this was the $75 AdWords credit that people get with new web hosting packages.

...that they used despite 'not intending to go public until they were ready'.

I am still skeptical that anyone will receive anything.

I'm looking forward to youtube videos of these things actually running.

I'm curious if we can buy these in person.  I wouldn't mind buying a round trip ticket to go pick it up and pay in person.
Ask them.
If they say no - then either they are dedicated to those who have already paid them (unlikely Tongue) or they have none available to go out the door yet (likely)
If they say yes - there you go Smiley

Edit: then let us all know.

Allow me to rephrase: I'm looking forward to people who ordered one / someone I trust getting one and validating it!

And yes, they e-mailed me last Thursday saying the first shipment was going out soon.  I expect someone should get a special package this week!

Also other FPGA designs (e.g. Icarus) getting very hot below the chips, even with a heat-sink + fan on top of the chip. And the Spartan-6 is not such a large FPGA which consumes so much power.

I was under the impression that the Icarus only gets a little warm on the underside of the PCB, I remember somebody said it's like a warm mug of coffee and ngzhang posted that's a good way to see if the installed heatsink/fan is doing a proper job. Touch it under the PCB and if it's too hot to keep your finger there the heatsink/fan is not enough.

I only have access to the ZTEX 1.15x with the Spartan 6 and it barely gets _warm_ (with the supplied Xilence northbridge cooler). But only one FPGA on the board with this design.
