No i dont think so that 2016 is thr year of bitcoins .for me 2020 is the year of bitcoins .as i think the price of bitcoins will rise upto 1000dollars which is pretty much higher than u thnk u have it now .so save up ur bitcoins for the future .kudoos 
In general, I was expecting that we will have $ 1,000 for btc but it may be a false projection to the end of this year, the TER. They prove nothing.

Well to be honest it depends on which prospective u wanna see .well now u see in standard way bitcoins price is 50000 rs and when it comes to zebpay they are selling them to u 61000rs .well it happened due to monetisation in our country ..u have to wait for 2017 to see what haopens in the near future .kudoos

Forward to over 1 year after creating this thread and it is obvious that your prediction is very optimistic. The price is not really doing that well where it was expected to reach the all time high and go over it. We are only half way there. On the topic of mainstream adoption, Bitcoin is very far from achieving it. It may not be even achieved because of the infighting and the technical limitations of the Bitcoin blockchain.
I believe this topic should be locked when the year ends.
