The game between the Celtics and 76ers was another exciting one. I'm happy James Harden is feeling good and he seems back to his old game. Embiid should limit his 3 points attempts. I believe they will improve more in their next games. Kudos to the Celtics, great win and a great start for Brogdon and their interim coach Joe Mazulla. This team is still tough to beat even without Oduka.
I am not sure, but I think Harden is leaner this time compared to last season. That might contribute to him getting back his old game. He should be able to contribute better as the season progresses. It is just the first game of the season.
If the Lakers are not happy with him, why are they still keeping him? IMO, it doesn't make sense, they should already trade him and get someone who can help Lebron and Davis for their championship goal. It was still Lebron who are doing most of the contribution on that game, nice performance from him in a losing effort, but as a fan, we like to see them win, not Lebron making points to break the record.
I am sure they will be happy to trade him IF they can find a team that is willing to take up the humongous contract that Westbrook has. Unfortunately, no team wanted to have Westbrook right now. So, they just have to wait until his contract expires. It is the last season of Westbrook, and he will be UFA next season. He still has recent contributions to the Lakers, 19-3-11 is still good. Maybe not be proportionate to his contract but still a good contribution considering he is not the first or second option in the team.
