Finals started great, what a game we watched! Boston Celtics played last minutes excellent and made a great run against Warriors. Jaylen Brown and Al Horford were the heroes. Now it's Tatum's turn, he should make game one up in other games in the series. 3/17 wouldn't be acceptable in finals but luckily other players carried the team.
Al Horford played his first finals appearance as well and he played the best of him. Derrick White was on stage when Tatum disappeared. It was really a team play and it defines Boston. I hope to see more from them.

That was a fourth quarter the Celtics dreamed about.  Horford capped it off by helping knock down some threes...  Still can't believe the Warriors got outscored 40 to 16 in the final 12 minutes.  I haven't seen a collapse from them like that on the big stage.  It seemed like nothing was working for them.  A far cry from the first quarter where it seemed like Steph was going to go for 60.  Hard to make a future prediction based on what I saw, so I'm sticking with the Warriors for now.  We'll call it a bad run for them at the end of the game and hope they get back to normal on Sunday.

Really an unbelievble fourth quarter by Boston Celtics what a win for them and what a comeback. Warriors if they want to win the title just cannot make mistakes like this and allow things like this to happen. Celtics in a good position now with a break up

Seen every stat on Twitter about how smart was going to shut down Curry.  Well 2 minutes left in the 3rd and Curry already has a 30 piece and up by 12.  They can't let Curry get off shots like he is and pretend they have a shot.  This is vetern Curry.  He just might own these finals.

Marcus Smart cannot really handle Curry on his own, he won't get anything if he will guard and chase Curry all the time because we quite knew that Curry can't be guarded that easily even if there's a time that Smart has successfully limited Curry's play. The Finals will be different play compared to the regular games.

But in the 4th quarter, Al Horford exploded and they had a 17-0 run leaving the Warriors stunned with no points made for almost 5 minutes in the same quarter. While the remaining roster made the play even better that's why they managed to steal 1 game. The Warriors better wake up the next game because they cannot really afford to lose a game again in their homecourt for two consecutive games.

For the first game of the series, I thought like that Warriors would manage to win and start strongly. They would have really won the game too in fact. The fourth quarter started with a very good advantage for Warriors. They just couldn't kept their consistency going in this one and Celtics showed a fascinating performance. Their high level of determination was a big help for them to win the game by 120-108. I wondered what went wrong with Warriors in this quarter too. All in all, I support Celtics so I'm happy about this start.  Smiley

Winding down.

Most of the match went head-to-head, but at the end of the match, Golden State Warriors were badly clogged. Boston won the first game by defending, attacking in the right places and playing really well, especially in the last quarter, they took the home advantage. Now Golden State has to win the second game at home and at least one away game. They made their job very difficult. They need to win the second game and recover, they don't have a choice.
The Warriors are one of the best teams in terms of closing the game, but in this one, they literally choked in the final minutes of the game, and they let the Celtics make a 17-0 run.

This is why the Celtics are a very difficult team to match-up with. Curry scored 21 points in the first quarter instead of getting pressured by it, they made an adjustment in it and just making his performance lower in the last 3 quarters. I think the Warriors really got the victory if they just didn't let the Celtics sink those threes in the final quarter because they got outscored 40 to 16 which do I think one of the worst quarters of the Warriors.

It's only Game 1 and the Warriors will make huge adjustments to their game style. I believe that they will take Game 2. Congratulations to the Celtics for stealing one game in the road and they gave the Warriors their first loss on their homecourt.

Celtics are very comfortable winning on the road, just like what they did against the Heat, when we thought that the Heat will win because they have the home court advantage, but Celtics controlled the game, and they remain composed and don't allow the heat to succeed on their 4th quarter run.

It's still one game, yes, it's not over yet but some are just disappointed, we can't blame them.

Don't worry, Warriors will even the series in game 2. There's no way they will lose 2 games in a row at home, if they can't win by themselves, they should have the help of the refs as this series should not end in 4 games. I'll bet on the Warriors in game, putting my money on the spread.

What a turn of events. Celtics now have the lead. The Warriors become silent and blew their large lead on the 3Q. That's why I said until there's no final buzzer, the game is not yet finished. Celtics bettors are surely happy with what's happening right now with 4 minutes remaining on the game.

In live betting, I think I saw the Celtics winning with a +11 lead @100 when they are downed by 10+ in the 3Q. It's now close to happening lol.

If there's a lucky live bettor who takes that bet, he surely enjoying now. Not sure though if there's someone from here who takes that

risk knowing that GSW is really good at keeping their leads, but today is different and Boston snatches the game away from the home team.

Game 2 still be playing inside the Warriors court and bookies will still favor them. It's not a usual, but who knows what would be the outcome.

too early to conclude, all will depends from how you analyze the game and how well you trust your instinct.

^ Wow. The Celtics came out in the 4th quarter and went on a massive run with 7-7 from the three point line. Al Horford exploded and had his biggest 3 point shooting game of his career. I’m not sure the Celtics can sustain that play, but it was good enough to steal game one in the bay. What a collapse… Warriors better not let game 2 slip away.
Crazy 4th quarter for sure. Boston hasn't shot that good all year. Warriors better wake the fuck up, that was an epic meltdown by them.

Yeah outscored by more than twenty points in the fourth quarter, that's crazy.  I definitely did not expect to see that.  Getting my popcorn ready because this just might be one of them finals that are epic.  Hope Warriors can win game 2 so the middle games have some good juice on them.  Crazy game..for sure.
Yeah, it's crazy and unexpected because it's not Tatum who is doing the damage. It's Horford and White.
I think the Warriors underestimated them after gaining that 12-point lead to start the 4th quarter. They forgot to stay focused on the defensive end as they did in the 3rd quarter.
This is good. Spreads will shift for a bit but I don't think the Warriors will give them the 2nd one.
Just for fun. Blame game. Who is it? It's Iggy for me. The sudden shift of rotation.

After close halftime, Golden State Warriors are now owning the Boston Celtics by a double-digit lead. Andrew Wiggins wakes up after the half and Curry might end up on 40+ points tonight. Looks like Celtics bettors should now expect instead to cover the handicap of +3.5 although honestly at this point, that's not likely to happen. Well then, until there's no final buzzer, the game is not ended yet.

When the Warriors are leading for over 10+ points in the playoffs, their win rate is almost close to 100%.

Just like that only up by 5.  This is shaping up to be a sick game.  Right on the betting line right now with 9 minutes to go.  Let's see if Boston has what it takes to come back.  Crazy game so far.  Still liking Warriors chances here.

The game is very much closer, GSW takes a good lead but Boston keeps fighting back and even the score 47-47. But plenty of games ahead of us, it's not the close of the 1st half.

But we can see the Boston is trying to keep up. Steph though is having a good shooting night. But let's see how Boston is going to response in the last 24 minutes and if they will steal one game at Chase.

The Celtics lead by only 2 points after the end of the first half of Game 1, and it looks like the game could be very tight in the second half. At the same time,  it's obvious that the Celtics may have problems, given that they can't handle Stephen Curry at all. He's showing a great performance with 21 points, including 6 three-pointers in the first quarter.
Jaylen Brown and Marcus smart is leading the Boston for there first half rally while Tatus is not yet showing a sign for an explosive performance. I feel like he is reserving his strength on the second half since he let the 2 players create score for the first half. The only problem that I can see on Boston is there fatigue issue because they are going all in on first half while GSW has a lot of good reserve players to make a rally once there starter is resting.

Andrew Wiggins has done a really good job on Tatum so far, and Tatum haven't been aggressive offensively too, he's been doing more of the play making and ended with 7 assist halftime, but to stand a chance against this elite Warriors team, Celtics would need to have Tatum doing more than just the assists.
