Lakers had one of their toughest games last night but they still were able to defeat their competitor Mavericks. We watched great teamplays from both sides and they both deserved to win equallly I suppose. Westbrook was so close to making a triple-double by 23 points, 10 rebounds and 9 assists. Davis made a double-double (20 points, 12 rebounds) and Lebron was the most scorer of the team as usual.

I'd like to thank Mavericks and Lakers both for making us watch a very competitive game last night. The normal time ended by 93-93 and we watched Lakers to beat Mavericks 107-104 after overtime. Lakers must be very happy about Davis' playing in this game also. Because he might not have played in this game because of an injury. The Lebron - Westbrook - Davis trio was so great. Mavericks still did a solid work but it wasn't enough for the win.
Yes, the big 3 of the LA Lakers are very efficient in this game, I hope they'll continue to win and build that chemistry. In that game, it showed that they can trust each other and in synch very well when they play, a team that does win in the OT are a good team as they were able to win even under pressure.

Still good game by the Mavericks, as even without Luka, they were able to complete well against the Lakers.
Yep, I thought that this will be a blow out game by the Lakers since Luka was out. But they give everything they have and could have won the game for the Mavericks.

Nevertheless with this win, the big 3 of Lakers provided was is needed. Maybe in the later part of the season, they will blossom and have that chemistry we all have been waiting for them to be a good contender in the West.

But look at this insane block from Lebron though they called it goaltending, this is amazing from a 37 years old guy.

He still has the verticality and we saw it thru this block.
I think he still has the capacity to carry the team but not to the point that he will do everything like what he did in Cleveland where the team is just a 1-man team where Lebron is doing everything. Well, Lakers are doing well in their last games and this buzzer beater by Reaves is just unexpected because many expects that either LeBron, Westbrook or Davis will have the final shot.

Many here are talking about the Lakers but why nothing is talking about Graham's buzzer beater at the other side of the court? I mean that is farther than Jerry West's buzzer beater back many years ago. Even Shai who shot the three to tie the game is very shock and many, many including me shocked at what happened. Nobody expected it to went in but it happened Cheesy. Like WTF Cheesy.

Lakers are shooting unnecessary shots, they just shooting threes with the confidence of getting it but they missed the last three from Westbrook, Davis, and Melo.

Looks the real game will start in the second half because this time they are just catching the score each time the Mavs take the lead.

But look at this insane block from Lebron though they called it goaltending, this is amazing from a 37 years old guy.

I confess... the Lakers made some reckless 3-point shots, but overall they had a relatively good 3-point made, with almost 40% successful

by the way... I almost imagined that this pic from the LeBron James block was some kind of montage, but no, it was LJ lol

Damn, that picture tells me that Lebron is still a beat, if he cannot score at least he can dominate using his length and strength. Lebron is doing it all, he knows that his team is still struggling despite they assembled a super team that has never satisfied our expectations. What do I call on that pic? That lift is a beast.

More points in the paint, that's what I miss more with Lebron James and the Lakers crew. Every time a three-point shot gets in they succumb to it like a black hole. Afterward, they tend to shoot more threes than putting the ball near the ring. I watched a full game one time and almost all the points made were in the paint at the first half. After halftime, a different style happened by switching to outside shots and it worked like a charm.
IIRC, it was the game versus the Kings where they made 62 points in the paint. That's a lot from a total Lakers score of 117.

Wow! By looking at how high he jumps reminds me the younger version of him.

The LeBron who can do almost everything, though he's now aging and we all understand that even he can still force his body but the after effect

will create possible damages, and by assessment, LeBron still loves the game and he will keep his healthy body to continue competing.

Lakers win again, third on the row bringing them up by 2 wins against the Mavs. slowly, but the Lakers are climbing, not sure about the rumors
of any trades, if there's any behind the doors, talks.

That's the always problem when they are in lead, being confident too much. After their 10 point lead entering the 2nd quarter, Mavericks outscored them by 27 points over 14 points before entering the half. Jalen Brunson is having a good night alongside Kristap Porzingis. They are doing well while Doncic is out. On the other hand, the Lakers Big 3 are now on the move after an off-performance during the 1st half.

The game is currently closed and tight. Unpredictable who will win.

Lakers luckily win it in overtime, the trio work escaping this game.

It's really a tough call to bet when Lakers are playing. No Luka but Kristap and Jalen didn't allow Lakers to win with high confidence
they stay close and almost win this game.

Kristap as always, he was there to compete, Nice win for Lakers fans and bettors Grats!

Was a close game. More than it should have been with no Luka. The 2 last second shots to first send it into overtime and then to win the game were exciting to watch. Westbrook seemed like he was intentionally passing up shots at the end of the fourth and overtime. I think he was making a point to over pass after the trade rumors and saying he’s a ball hog. Something was off… Luckily it worked out for them tonight. AD back out there with a broken finger too… Whatever gets a Lakers win.

That would be interesting for sure but everything will depend on how Klay Thompson will play when he comes back. His 3 point shooting form is definitely still there, however, I'm concerned with his speed as he is known as one of the fast-release 3 point shooters in the NBA with an accurate percentage.

We’ll find out next week how good Klay is going to be. Looks like he’ll be suiting up and on the floor before Christmas. That should make for some good matchups. I hope he can stay healthy and he isn’t rushing back. If he gets a dunk in though in his first game the crowd is going to go absolutely nuts. He claims he’s going to come back more athletic. We’ll see.

Klay Thompson hasn't had a game practice for more than 2 years. Therefore, I wouldn't expect he will be able to perform well in his first games after returning. I mean, it will take him some time to adapt, and the Warriors will most likely severely limit his minutes on the court for a few weeks after his return because they shouldn't allow him to get injured again.

Of course, he will be on limited minutes once he comes back, practicing with the team is one, but playing against a tough opponent is different. So I doubt that Kerr will give him the minutes already once he comes back. He will be part of the rotation for sure, or even get his top 5 spot. But after 5-6 minutes of playing, he might be replace unless he is shooting that good in the first quarter.

There is a nice game tonight: Dallas Mavericks - LA Lakers. Lakers are going to be my favourite for this game obviously but I won't be surprised to see Mavericks winning this game also. Because this is a close game actually if we take their positions in their conference into account right now. For Lakers, A. Davis's condition is going to be clear right before the game. If he doesn't play, Lebron and Westbrook will have the most of the responsibility for this game.

But the Mavericks is without their number one player, Luka Doncic. So it's hard to win against Lebron and Westbrook without your top player in the roster. Maybe they can stay for the first few quarters before Lebron and company take a comfortable lead. So it doesn't matter if AD will sit or play this game. Lakers has all the advantage as they will have to deal with KP only.

Without Luka it does seem like the Lakers should be able to easily win this one.  It looks like the Mavs even have the edge on the sportsbook I'm looking at, so it could be a nice little opportunity to get a W with some good odds for the gambling folks out there.  I won't be able to place a bet on this one unfortunately, but I will have the game on in the background.  Nice whenever you get to watch a game on ESPN.  Their streaming services are head and shoulders better quality than the alternatives out there...

And Lakers taking a 10 point lead in the first quarter.

I know it's early but it seems that the Lakers are playing good defense in the beginning and hopefully they can sustain their offense. James already with 10 points just in the first quarter alone. So it seems he is going to take the scoring again for the Lakers to win against a Luka-less Mavs.

Not at all as the Los Angeles Lakers even in a complete lineup, are struggling against a lower or considered as a weak team. They are sometimes losing too against this team making them hard to trust when they are Favorites. We can tell that as how bookies gave close odds for both Lakers and Mavericks to win the game.

Not aware that Luka is out of the game but I'm sure there's a chance that they can still upset the popular Los Angeles Lakers. Recently, it's not just Luka who are fueling the Mavericks as others are also contributing even those from the bench.

Not rooting for either of the team to win but that game is a good watch.

Stephen Curry is showing a performance which is really something very specialy. He has even broken a new three-pointer record against Knicks in his recent game. He is already among the best players ever in NBA history. I feel myself really lucky that I'm able to watch him live in many games. Because it is an important privilege to be able to watch great players like Curry like this.
How I like to watch him playing live but the best I can do is just to watch him on TV since I don't like in USA and it's hard for me to fly to that country just to watch him, it will cost a lot to me compared to the NBA subscription that I will only play less than $10 in our currency.

I wouldn't say no to watching him live at the court either.  Grin  But I'm living in a country that is very far away from the USA and it takes around 13-14 hours by plane for me to go there. And it would cost me a lot of money (flight + game) as the currency of my country is getting even more worthless day by day. But I'm trying not to miss his games most of the time.

Maybe someday when we become bitcoin millionaires we will be able to watch the game without worrying on our finances or the amount we will spend just to see the game. I just love NBA and I am already satisfied now even by just watching it live on TV, but I know it's a different experience when you watch it live in an arena where you will see your favorite players most especially Curry.

He claims he’s going to come back more athletic. We’ll see.
I hope his first game is not a disappointment though.
