The game between GSW and Blazers ended fairly quickly with Curry tallying around 32 points with a couple of 3s. Though this is to be expected from the greatest shooter of all time, significant improvements can be seen on Wiggin's jumper as his 3-pt percentage is increasing slowly. His confidence on his shot selection and to drive to the basket is what makes him a previous no. 1 draft pick.

Yes, he is now a vital part of the GSW rotation and has gained so much confidence in the last 5 games or so. I remember when he wasn't contributing, there are talks here several pages back about him getting traded or at least some of us wanted the Warriors to get rid of him.

Someone mentioned that Curry is 44 3s away from breaking his own record of the most 3s in the history of basketball! I really have confidence that he may be able to snatch that MVP award this year, though it is too early to say. But from his performance alone, he is really dominating this season now.

That's doable and I think he can break his record this season and then put a separation from the number 2. And it's fun to see Curry, hitting those 3's because on how he shoot the ball, it was quick release and defenders don't have time to contest specially when Looney or Draymond are the one setting up the pick to free him up for a split second to shoot the threes.

As a Curry fan, it's quite overwhelming how he grew from the rookie Curry to his prime, always knew that the kid had such great potential, I'm positive that he'll be the season MVP and that is if he'll be healthy throughout the season and all the way to the playoffs, KD and Jokic are performing great as well so I don't want to see Curry get an injury, this is why Steve Kerr sits him out everytime the lead is extended at least to 20 or so because Curry is the main priority.

If Steph encounters an injury, the offense of GSW goes on as they have scorers like Wiggins, Poole, Damion Lee + did I forgot to mention that Klay will be returning this Christmas? All I can say is damn.

Missed that game, Lakers vs Sacramento, and I thought that Lakers are going to win, they lose it one big in triple overtime? Made me think that it's time to really make a chance in the line-up? We've been questioning the chemistry, but what can we do if the players are not gelling on each other and a supposedly winning game turns out to be their biggest lost this season?

Triple overtime loss for the Lakers lol
They could've win that one in the first overtime If LeBron didn't take over too much. I mean he had the ball the whole time. He's shooting zero percent three point attempts, that could've been converted into a score If his teammates got involved with it.
Nevertheless, the Lakers are gradually turning into a hopeless team towards the playoffs lol.

Another game that they let slip away and from Sacramento Kings, that really gonna hurt them.

But I would say that they can still make the playoffs as long as they are going above .500 mark. And there's a lot of games in the calendar, they just have to find ways to win and grind hard every hard. We have 20 games already and so far I would say that they still have a good chance to be in the playoffs, but winning a ring is a different story.

I agree that winning a title is a different story. Lakers are struggling against the considered struggling team.

Even the Lakers are having a problem lately winning their games, that shouldn't be the reason why they will be out to the playoffs discussion. Still early to conclude that they won't make it. But with how they performed, maybe they will end up again in the play-in tournament if there will be this season.

I'm hoping for that to happen, at least give the Lakers more time to figure out their chemistry, their lose against the Kings was the greatest loss IMO because it was fun to watch and they are really trying to win, that triple OT is just epic, I'll never forget that game.

2/13 from three point range. He should've give the ball to somebody else if they will focus on shooting threes.
Anyway, lets just say that he has a bad night that's why they lost and its unfortunate for them to see them playing like this knowing that they are a team filled with superstars and all-stars. I think its the age that hinders them because they are kinda slow affecting their defense.

Nevertheless, the Lakers are gradually turning into a hopeless team towards the playoffs lol.
I think this is too early to tell knowing that we are just starting the season (most number of games so far is 21). Lets say this if they don't have any adjustments coming into the all-star weekend or after it. Maybe we're expecting too much for them since they are filled with superstars aren't we? Smiley

Anyway, why most of us are focusing on Lakers. I mean we have the Warriors getting victory against the Trail Blazers by 15 points and the Suns who are in a 15 win streak with their win against the Knicks. The longest winning streak in the NBA is 33 by the 1971–72 Lakers. Well , the Suns are almost halfway to that Cheesy.

Still a long way, they have a big chance with a deep bench roster they have. I mean, even if Lebron and Anthony Davis get injured for days they can still fight in a good way. Westbrook will handle things and chances of winning are still high. That's their upper hand over most of the teams which will have a big problem once their star is out.
One example is a sad story now with Ja Morant and then there are Clippers without Kawhi although PG13 is doing great and Nuggets with Jokic resting which recently lose against the Bucks.
While the Lakers are building their chemistry a chance for a W every game remains, unlike other teams.

What if he drained a shot on the gameplay? Lebron has no space for many people now. If he involved his teammate, others will say he should design gameplay for him and have the guts to shoot the ball. If he did not involve his teammates, others will say he should design a play for his teammates. He knows what he doing. Just unfortunate that the game went to triple overtime and they lose.

Nevertheless, the Lakers are gradually turning into a hopeless team towards the playoffs lol.

They are just behind 2 games to the number 3 Utah Jazz. Why considered them hopeless. Still have plenty of games left and we are not even close to All-Star.

Another interesting game between Warriors and Trailblazers.

When you thought that the Warriors are going to close them up, Portland is coming up big in the 4th quarter and has cut the lead to 12 points already.

For us who bet on the handicap on the Warriors, still not safe. We really need to wait till the last minute. Portland are not giving up and won't give up easily.

Portland coming up big in the 4th quarter and has cut the lead to 12? As of writing, it's 5 minutes left 3rd Quarter. Handicap +10 is already safe. Warriors are good at maintaining the lead at +10 and they are not benching their starters until the final timeout of 1-2 minutes. I'm sure of that. Smiley

What's your handicap bet?

I hope this is not soon-to-be super bad news for the Memphis Grizzlies.
https://www.espn.com/nba/story/_/id/32722751/memphis-grizzlies-ja-morant-exits-apparent-leg-injury-first-quarter
Quote
Morant was hurt while dribbling the ball toward the paint, although there was no contact that appeared to cause the injury. He began to limp, passed the ball and then hobbled off the floor in the middle of the play.
He is the heart of the team and almost every play rotates around him. Losing a superstar like that for so many games will give the Grizzlies a hard time reaching a playoffs spot.
Looking forward to good news after they check him. The score now is 57 Grizzlies - 95 Hawks. and it's just 3rd quarter.

And it's over, 132-100 a high scoring game for the night. Lucky for those who bet on the over in this game.

But it's unfortunate that Ja Morant will be injured again and I would say that if they lose him for the remainder of the season then they might be done. It was reported to be a left knee injury. So let's see how it goes, of course we wish him speedy recovery and hope that he can go and still play this season.

As a spurs fan, it is great to see Derozan finally getting the attention he deserves. He was great with us as well, even though he wasn't set with our young core and he was covering a position that could be better used for giving experience to young players since we wouldn't be able to achieve anything anyway, we always knew that he was a great player and provided so much for us. I am glad that he found home at Bulls and he is playing so well there, I would be very upset if he just didn't get anything done there.

Derozan is the type of player who goes against the wave of three point shooters in this era and play however he wants which makes things a bit more challenging for other teams to defend. Everyone is so used to covering the paint and perimeter that players like Derozan who can score from midrange gets great shots due to lack of defensive help.

As a Bulls fan it's been pretty fun watching him get his career going with us, and learning what type of player he is all about.  Don't get me wrong, Demar comes with some of his negatives such as not so stellar defense and certainly isn't one of the leagues top 3 point shooters either.  That being said hid mid-range game is simply ridiculous.  When he gets going, he is automatic with that little fade away from 15ft.  Becomes such as silky smooth shooter. Actually watching him shoot a pair of free throws as I type this.  I am very glad to have him!

Some hilarious memes on twitter right now. Everyone is roasting Zion Williamson being now cleared for full basketball duties. They’re saying he’s out now due to thanksgiving to make fun of his massive weight gain. I just hope he doesn’t blow out his knees when he does come back carrying all that extra weight. I figured his weight issues would catch up to him quick because of his frame and age, but I hoped we’d get a good playoff run out of him first.

I don't care for all the additional slander, but that man needs to get in shape asap.

It's for his own good, and as you said, even if he is able to play for the Pels I wouldn't let him if I was management - just because of the added injury risk that is very real.

With all due respect, you get in shape to play basketball, not the other way around.

He should take that weight concern as a priority. Zion is still young and can easily work on that. As years will be passed by, it's now hard to reduce weight while doing regular practice. He is athletic at this current weight that's why I like to see how it will be improved more if he will lose weight.

Luka Doncic is also gaining weight. Too early for these young players to gain weight lol.

Low scoring game for Pistons vs. Clippers so far but LAC is already ahead by 20 points with under 5 minute remaining. I don't think Pistons can still turn that around as I don't anyone exploding to help them close the gap. Good to see distribution of points on the Clippers side.

As expected early, Los Angeles Clippers has the advantage. The final score is 107-96 LAC. Impressive stat sheets they have. The majority of the Clippers roster contributes to the game. Paul George is even playing below his average.

Pistons are now downed to 4-15. They are being a practice team this season lol.
