Low scoring game for Pistons vs. Clippers so far but LAC is already ahead by 20 points with under 5 minute remaining. I don't think Pistons can still turn that around as I don't anyone exploding to help them close the gap. Good to see distribution of points on the Clippers side.

Clips at ho.e are just too much for a team like the Pistons.  Big game tonight for the Knicks.  They have been shaky at home and a good Suns team coming into town.  A win here will go a long way for their confidence that they are a top tier team in the East.  They need a good win streak here.  Go knicks!

They're showing some good stats but as usual, this is just always going with the early of the season. When it's about to get near to the playoffs, they're falling shortly.

What do you mean Phoenix Suns are falling short when near playoffs?

Prior to playoffs, let's take the example of their last 32 games before the end of the 2020-21 NBA Season, their record is impressive, 24-8, and eventually reached the Finals later on. They are a big deal last season. If you are talking about previous seasons more, it's expected that they are not quite that impressive as they are rebuilding.

Phoenix Suns are gonna play the Knicks on the road.

Suns currently have the longest win streak in the NBA now with 14. What do you think, will they be able to continue the winning streak or the Knicks will stop that today? Share your thoughts as the Suns are in serious business now, they are playing with high confidence and everyone is doing their job to contribute.

I think the Suns can win against the Knicks even if this is going to be played in MSG.

As you have said, the Suns is riding on a longest winning steak so they want to continue with that. Although Knicks is a very good team, they've also very inconsistent lately, the only question is that if Suns are going to cover the spread, last game against the Cavs in their homecourt, it  was just a 5 point lead by the Sun. So I would say a good bet is like -3.5 to -4.5 for the Suns.

As a spurs fan, it is great to see Derozan finally getting the attention he deserves. He was great with us as well, even though he wasn't set with our young core and he was covering a position that could be better used for giving experience to young players since we wouldn't be able to achieve anything anyway, we always knew that he was a great player and provided so much for us. I am glad that he found home at Bulls and he is playing so well there, I would be very upset if he just didn't get anything done there.

Derozan is the type of player who goes against the wave of three point shooters in this era and play however he wants which makes things a bit more challenging for other teams to defend. Everyone is so used to covering the paint and perimeter that players like Derozan who can score from midrange gets great shots due to lack of defensive help.

Looks like the Ben Simmons saga might not last too much longer.  He's reportedly spent all of his money and it is even rumored that he may need to start selling assets in order to pay his taxes this year...  Making the situation worse, the Sacramento Kings have stated that they will not trade Fox in any deal for Simmons.  That pretty much means they either have to take a subpar package of draft picks and bench players from the Kings, or they'll have to make some sort of a deal with the Warriors for Wiseman and whatever they can scrape together.

Maybe he did not realize it will happen, he is living an expensive life so he cannot sustain his lifestyle without money flowing in. So what is his decision now, will he finally play with the 76ers and just wait until the trade will finally happen? I mean, that's the only option left for him to survive and avoid selling his property to pay his tax obligation.

He should erase this in his mind and be professional and humble.

76ers' Ben Simmons no longer wants to play alongside Joel Embiid due to big man's playing style, per report

We have an early game today: Los Angeles Clippers v Detroit Pistons. LA Clippers are a good team when we consider their current condition this season. But they haven't been very impressive lately as they lost three times in the last four weeks. But Pistons are far worse than them now. They lost 14 of their 18 games so far. They are really terrible and they will search for a way out in this game. Batum and Leonard are absent at Clippers. But I think they can still make use of Pistons' current condition and win it.
They'll win this game, LA Clippers are a good team at home, they win 8 of their 12 matches at home, so against the Piston, I don't think they will give the Piston a chance to make it a close game. Per betting line, Clippers are -11.5 to win, that's a heavy favorite there, so the chance is very high for them to win as experts are less likely to make mistakes.

Yeah, the Clippers probably won't have any problems with the Pistons. As for me, the upcoming Suns versus Knicks game should be more interesting, considering that the Suns have already won 14 matches in a row. However, it's worth noting that this game will be at MSG, and I wonder if the Knicks can stop them.

Yeah, great to have an early game.

I'll take the Clippers for this one any day of the week. They really have come together over the past ten games and made a name for themselves as a blue collar team even without the presence of Kawhi, which is certainly very impressive.
There's still time if you would like to bet on this game, the game has not started yet I believe. Pistons with a bad record is also a bad team on the road, so as the Clippers needed a win to stay in the playoff race, they'll get this one easily for sure. This is not the Clippers vs Lakers game,it will be easy for the Clippers.

PG13 is also playing at an MVP level, which is definitely a huge bonus to the team.
No doubt about that, he has to play harder and better since Leonard is out, and probably will not come back this season.

edit, 62-40 is the score now in favor of the Clips. This is easy!

What Curry made more successful this season is because he is healthy, not only that, he also gets the support from his teammates, they are stepping up and they make the Warriors once again a tough team to beat, it's like the old Warriors who easily dominate their opponent, and take not, this team is still without Thompson, so expect a better team with Thompson but Curry would still lead the team as usual.
Damn true. The hardest part of all when you are playing a physical game, to keep yourself safe and at the same time be healthy to avoid injuries in practices or in game. That requires a lot of time in the gym and everyday stretches which others are lazy to do. Like me.  Grin

And I think it's more of his discipline, he is no longer the skinny kid with he first make it to the NBA. He has gain so much muscle that you can't just push him as compare to 3-5 years ago. So he can now dry more often score more basketball without getting the risk of injuries.

I think Jokic will still have a fighting chance for the MVP race if ever someone will step up his game and be a legit shooter. With that, his assist per game could go high giving him an opportunity to be on top again. No update regarding Jamal Murray yet so thinking that could help is out of the question.

It boils down to his team though, and with MPJ out Jokic will have to take all the offensive load and it might cause him some problems down the line and he should remain consistent too just like last year.

A  perfect combo, Murray is very dangerous when you give him free space, Jokic benefits from that a she have a wide court eyesite.

Each time he needs to pass the ball Murray cover him and take the shots, I was wondering what happened to Porter Jr, without the main intrior of Nuggets, it's hard for Jokic to win a back to back season MVP.

Still got plenty of time though, he just need to play well and keep enhancing the level of his game.

Many of us are impressed with the Bulls' performance this season. Regarding DeRozan and LaVine, both have great stats. However, I agree with Yogee that they won't have a chance to compete with Curry and Durant for the MVP title of the regular season. Curry looks unstoppable, and I think he will be MVP this season imho.

I think it's early to conclude this discussion, especially we are not yet passing the NBA All-star week 2022. anything can happen next year but if Klay Thompson will further boost Curry's performance then you can say try again next time to the other candidate because they won't have a chance at all. Stephen Curry has once again become the all-time favorite this year as you can see there are lots of fans on the court when they play just to see him shoot those stunning threes.

Judging on how Curry has been performing early this season, everyone can say that he's the top MVP candidate obviously.
He's unarguably the best shooter of all time, that alone can be enough to tell he's an MVP caliber player.
Though there were a bunch of good players in the NBA today especially the young guns, but as you said Curry has been great once again.
He had an early momentum most probably he will finish the way he started the season.

And I hope he will remain healthy as I don't want to see a team struggle again because their main star player is injured, that will not bring healthy competition and the winner of this season might not get the full respect from the fans as they will think they only win because the best team suffered from injury. Just like last season, The LA, Lakers, LA Clippers, and Nets are the best teams but their star players are injured, so other teams takes the opportunity to advance.

He never out of MVP discussion but by looking at his current performance this season plus his team is dominating already he have better chance to grab that award the only thing they do first for now is to secure the playoff spot and next to that is the finals so that he will increase more his stats to snatch that in this season. Yeah there are so many young potential players this season but they are not at the same level with curry so no worries about those things.
