I don't think they'll win a championship, its too early to tell. The trend now says that you have to make a superteam in order to win a championship, and that means 2 or 3 all star players in a team, Pelicans does not have that for now.

He's indeed becoming the player what everyone expects. I guess he ain't a bust, he's a freak. The size, the speed and agility the kid got it all. He'll become a better all around player than LeBron in the future and he'll be able to achieve more records. If this young pelicans team will stay for the next 5 years, I'm quite sure they'll win a championship. They're a team stacked with future superstar in the making.

Howard trying to injured Zion, I don't like him anymore, his dirty play are all around the NBA, but despite that, I'm happy that Pelicans won and Zion has been dominating in the game, let's all hope he will be healthy so pelicans will have a greater chance of qualifying the playoffs.

I enjoyed watching him banging with 76ers big men. Almost every point he took was below the rim.
That's the time when I actually forgot I was betting for the 76ers.   I was already cheering for the Pelicans.  

Embiid was not off night. Aquaman just did his job using Atlantis defense.  
Pelicans fought really hard today and Zion putting a show gave us a glimpse of his future.

Yeah, this kid is no more hype I would say, when he enter the league there's a lot of hype around him, then injury sets in. But once he goes back, he slowly adjusted to the tough NBA games, and I would say that the hype is for real as he is blossoming into a true star. It's a huge win for them, specially beating one of the top teams in the East. True Shaq numbers, I do hope that he will continue to be this dominant and see him getting into his prime.

That's alarming since the playoffs are near, they don't want any star players gone missing during the playoffs, I saw when oladipo leave the game, but hoping that it will be just minor, I want to see what will he do in the playoffs with butler, nets is the wall for them in the finals, and I want to see a rematch with the defending champion who also has lots of injuries especially the star players.

I know the hype here regarding the Brooklyn Nets and as of right now, they are the favorites to win the championship but I think we need to break it for a while and lets discuss about the "Most Surprising Team" (for me).
I know that many are talking here about the Brooklyn Nets as they are filled with superstars but no one, as in no one is saying anything about the Phoenix Suns right now that is the top 2 in the West. Take note that it is the Western Conference. We know how crucial every win here is especially when we are nearing the end of the regular season. One win can put you below the 8th seed and vice versa.

They defeated the Lakers twice, they also won against the overall top seed right now which is the Utah Jazz. Their roster didn't change that much aside from what they are considering as the "Point God" right now which is CP3. He managed to maximize the performance of their 2 star players in Booker and Ayton. Many expected that this duo will be a Shaq-Kobe duo but they are far from it. They aren't like that still from now but it seems like CP3 helped these 2 alongside other players to play at its best. From one of the bottom teams for many seasons to now a top 2 team in the West. For me, they are the Most Surprising Team for me. What are you takeaway with this? Can we see them surprise other teams in the Playoffs . Are they a championship contender for now?

4 road game against Trail Blazers, Suns, Nuggets, and Timberwolves. They need all the help they could get and they just lost one.
They are in 6th, Celtics and Knicks are just in their tail aiming for that safe spot. They would not want to have a losing streak this time.

Knicks won in OT, finally they manage to win as they have been losing close game with 3 or fewer points. And I thought that this will be the same game, but they forced an OT and finally was able to get a good lead and never give it up. So a good win for them and keep their hopes alive at least for the 8th spot.

Both teams are currently standing in 8th position in their conferences, but I guess winning this match will be more important for the Knicks. I mean, the Knicks need to defend their current position to keep an opportunity to reach the playoffs for the first time since 2013.

I agree with you, but we are talking about the current situation, Durant, Irving and Harden getting healthy. Aldridge showing signs when he with San Antonio early on his career, Griffin as well, still can dunk. So getting that into account, we say that they are going to be the favourite.

As for the injuries, knock on woods, we don't want players to have one specially superstars. We want them healthy as possible. But if it does come, as we don't have control over it, then the odds might chance. But for now with the way the Nets are playing I would say they could be the potential champion barring injuries from key players.

They will meet again this April 15. Let's see if the gap grew from inheriting new players and KD being healthy.
Every team will still fight for the championship. All-Star or not, they will not get the ring that easily.

I don’t know... The Nets feel like the dominant Warriors teams. They have too much talent. Without injuries or a historic performance from the King, I don’t think anyone has much of a chance. They should be considered the favorites every night when everyone is healthy. They could probably hold their own against an All Star team.

They become more unstoppable when they sign LA and Griffin, these are big contributors to the team especially in the playoffs as they both have the experience, and I'm sure with the current line up, they will be more confident on playing as they see their team as the best team now, also, if they ever think of making a revenge against Lebron, this is the best time.

Correct and I agree. Also like to support the next reply after that post which is, even KD or Durant aren't playing, the Nets are still intact.

There are only a few games overall where their 3 main superstars played together but the Nets still have a great winning percentage. We can't blame the people if they are looking for the Nets as an unstoppable team right now in the NBA.

I'm betting on the Kncks here, they are the underdog because Memphis was really doing good in the past few games, but they are at home and they need a win here, so probably if this is going to be like a close game, Knicks will have the advantage as they are more hungry for the win to break the losing streak.

With taht record, I think the road record is more impressive than the home record because it's not easy to win on the road, but that doesnt' change my stand for this game, I'm still with the NYK. 

Memphis at New York

This is an exciting game, we have some Knicks fans here, maybe you guys can give your opinion regarding this game, do you think Knicks could win against  the Memphis who won 4 straiht already. Knicks has a decent home record with 14-10 while Memphis got 14-9 on the road.

Injury is possible but at least we've seen the nets playing without a one or two of their star player and they are still winning, that's their advantage because they have 3 star players and if one is down, they are still a good team. We've seen the win streak of the Nets when Durant was still resting due to injury, I guess that's enough to prove that even Harden and Irving could carry this team.

Sounds like an NBA pro analyst lol. Of course, people will think of the Nets as the best team in the league for an obvious reason.

The injury you are talking about is just another advanced speculation.

We can counter your statement with another what if, which is the other way around - what if no injury will happen? Just wait for the Playoffs to Finals as no one knows here, even the top analyst, what will happen in the future.
