Golden State is a great team, and they still do have Curry and Klay and Draymond in long term contracts so their future will be good for like at least 5 more years if you ask me, maybe Draymond will become worse but that's about it, curry and klay do not play style of basketball that would get worse. In the end they will be good but there are two players that I am not sure about on that team which I think may need to leave.
A healthy GSW can still compete with the current NBA rosters. Draymond Green's game is just complementary with Curry and Klay. Without them he'd look just like a mediocre player. If the GSW could keep these 3 main guy in the franchise (I know they have like long term contracts, but trades are possible) they could still regain the strength of their team by acquiring more pieces that fits to their style of play.
Remember that in 2015–16, the Golden State Warriors got a 73-9 record with Klay, Curry and Green as their trio.
Now the question is they can be a playoff contender when all of them are healthy? I still believe that Klay still got it and its obvious that Curry can still play and can dominate like what he did last night against the Bucks. We also saw what can happen to the current GSW roster when Curry and Green didn't play against the Raptors
. A complete domination by the Raptors against them.
Regarding the trades with these 3, it will depend on when they will be healthy and how their performance will be at that time. Its possible that a trade might happen if they will not play that well. Its just right now, they aren't a playoff contender with their current roster right now but when Klay will be back, it will be a different situation but on the other hand if Klay will not play again next season they "might" trade him. Just my speculation though.
I’m watching the Nets vs Pelicans game and Durant is dressed and ready to play. They’re saying he may get his first minutes since his injury tonight. It’ll be nice to see him back in action. In the meantime Zion is looking to break a record set by Shaquille O’Neal if he can get 20 points on >50% from the field.
Looks like the Nets are dominating the Pelicans right now as they are leading by 24 101-74 at the time I'm posting this with 4 minutes remaining in the 3rd Quarter. I want to watch the Suns-Jazz matchup. The 2 surprising teams this year for me clashing with each other
