Nets are seen as the best team in the league by way too many people. I end up thinking have you guys never watched NBA before to talk so sure about everything. In NBA we have seen Warriors having the best team ever for 2 seasons, first one was 73 win one and lost to Cavs in the finals, and another one when Toronto became champions because injuries prevented Warriors to win it.

Now we are talking about Nets like they are so surely the winners of the league when they had so many players missing all the time. What if playoffs comes and Irving gets injured? Maybe Durant goes down with him? What if Harden misses games? I mean we should not be talking so surely about Nets winning the league like it is guaranteed. Nobody could have guessed a Miami finals last year neither, they talked about Bucks and Sixers and so forth like they were the best but Miami showed up. We should not put any team over another when it is playoffs.

There is nothing for certain. Nets are really doing great but if one or two of the KD - Harden - Irving trio gets injured, they can have a really tough time. But when they are all together, it's really like they are unstoppable. They are one of the biggest favourites for the championship with Lakers. We'll see what's gonna happen in playoffs.

Good point as that thing already happened with the warriors way back, expecting for a sweet grand-slam but ends up losing
with Kawhai leading Raptors..

We can't assure anything as there are injuries that might happened along the way, it can only decide  when the finals end, and the team was crown as a tittle champ!

But, in anyhow if both Lakers and Nets have their healthy squad, meeting in the finals are very possible and no doubts fans
will surely love this.

2 times Giannis won as the regular season MVP, 2 times he was exposed as well. Bucks are the same team, so most probably they will also not advance in the Finals or even in the ECF. I have no expectation on the bucks anymore, instead aside from nets, I like the 76ers to advance.
I still consider Bucks as a good team. But that's it, the other teams are having better stats and that's no lie because stats don't lie. The most favorites are those at the top 1 and 2 for both conferences including the Lakers. There's also the good team of Clippers. Well, there's a lot of those teams to expect play good as they goes to the playoffs.

Playoffs will unmasked those teams who truly deserve their position, first round is just nothing as everything will be push hard when

it comes to playoffs, I still like to see how Bucks will adjust competing with both Nets and Sixers, this two hot teams got a much deeper squad and they are really showing how good they are right now.

ECF might be interesting if upset might happened, Oh well everything still possible.
There really will be some upset that we might see, there's always some twist that happens every season and that's for sure. Every team that has been good at the start will always rake and won't have any problem from coping up the standings and they're working hard to get into the playoffs. We don't believe anymore that the best teams are always at the bottom and going up from the top when the deadline is about to end or nearly over. We'll soon see a filter and only those best shall remain.

Everyone had high expectations for them in the NBA playoffs but they cannot do things as usual because the game in the playoffs is not the same anymore. If you watch more carefully teams that are playing in the playoff not really allowed to give one basket easily. As if they playing for championship games already. This is the game the Bucks are missing because they don't adjust their games when it comes to playoffs. especially after getting one step closer to their conference finals.

That is true because they will not just be playing to win to create a better standing within the season but its already the matches on how they can win the Championship. Being in the playoffs would include a lot of mental strength against the opponents because they will be facing each other up to 7 matches. Giannis and the Bucks is surely facing this problem specially when we are seeing them winning this Best of 7's against other teams. Some of Giannis's teammates does not have the mentality to play likes its always the last minute and that really shows a lot of mistakes but they know that "whats done is done" so lets just hope for them to finally reach the Finals this season.

I know I'm a little late on this, but I am curious what you guys thought of the huge Bulls trade getting Nikola Vucevic and sending of a couple first rounders to the Magic for him.  As a life long Bulls fan, I am personally just happy that they are making moves and not trying to sit on players they plan to "develop" for years on end that never end up panning out.  I am pumped that we finally have what seems to be a competent management team..finally ( Gar/Pax were a nightmare).
This depends on their performance, and so far, I think Bulls are impoving and Nikola Vucevic seemed fit playing with the Bulls type of play.  Actually I'm happy they won their last 2 games, and they are slowly going up to playoff standing. Current rank at number 10, if they'll maintain that, they have a chance to fight for a playoff spot.

Yeah they certainly have started to play a bit better of late and they aren't too far out for a playoff spot.  The Bulls have been in "purgatory" for so many years, making the playoffs or just missing, which only hurt their chances of getting a better draft pick position, but now that they have two all stars, I think they certainly have a better chance of continuing to build on a playoff run even if they are booted out in round 1.

It's a best of 7 series so its expected that adjustment will happen as its necessary, players will not adjust if there's no order from the coaching stuff, thereore it's the coachin stuff is at fault here beause Bucks are winning and looks very dominant in the regular season but in the playoffs they struggle or choke, and the worst thing is that it's consecutive playoffs where they still fail to advance, they even got almost swept by the Heat last playoffs.

Nuggets continues their hot win streak.

They beat the Spurs 106-96 and everyone is making their own contribution.
They are in 7 win streak now, and number 4 in standing behind the Clipperes. (https://ph.global.nba.com/standings/)

How long this streak will go?

I think they can extend it to at least 10 games, they will have Spurs back to back, then Celtics, might be a tough one, and then Warriors.

Maybe the next question for Nets is that, can they handle the pressure now as the favorite to win the championship? Or are they going to choke in the playoffs?

Let's talk about the playoffs once the playoffs come, I believe Nets will not choke in the playoffs because they are in the East and it's an easier journey for them compared to being in the West. If they old the number 1 spot, they'll face a weaker playoff team in the first round, and as long as all big 3 are healthy, Nets might dominate their opponent, even the other good teams in the East like Celtics, 76ers, and Heat.

Fair enough, we will see how the Nets will react if they go on the first round in the playoffs. I have a feeling that they will be for sure will be push. Team are on a goose chase right now to upset them.

Just like when the Bucks are the team to beat, Giannis becoming the MVP, they are the top team, but come playoffs, teams are putting a lid on him and I would say expose his weaknesses.

We shouldn't end the discussion regarding on bucks to finals since even by now they are relevant title contender and even if no addition has been made but still there key players are intact so interms of familiarity they know their teammates well so provably that is their advantage on the rest of the teams there. Eventhough Giannis has been exposed but remember physique contributes big inside the court and Giannis have that and can able to dominate his defenders.

We have personal opinion, what I think is that they have no chance to be in the Finals or in the ECF this season. What happen is other teams have improve but Bucks did not, they are not even the number 1 team anymore, so I don't expect they'll do better this season compared to the previous seasons in the playoffs. I could be wrong, but that's my opinion about what I see now.

let's see what will happen in the playoffs, sometimes the top teams are overthrown by the 8th seed, or in the second round,

Possibly in the West but I doubt in the East. Nets can handle all teams in their conference in a series match and just imagine how the 8th seeded will survive the stacked Brooklyn Nets.

Nets have a clean 7-0 record overall this season against teams sitting currently on 6th to 8th (Heat, Celtics, Knicks, respectively) in the Eastern Conference standings.

But who knows, there's another Miami Heat 2020 be like in the making that will surprise all once playoffs come.
yes the team is solid, sixers are one of the teams and bucks, who knows what will happen, just like what the heat did last season, they shock the other teams, although the nets are really looking unbeatable, we might expect an upset if the nets suddenly in a bad position, like ejections or injuries, but I don't want it to happen to any team, let's just wait and see what will happen in the west and east.
Most likely the health of their big 3 will be the biggest factor if ever they don't become the champion last year. Miami Heat is a big surprised last year in the bubble as they've reach the finals and give the Lakers a run for their money. But it seems that they are a very different now, the hype is no longer there, more teams in the East upgraded themselves and now teams like Sixers, Bucks and even Celtics has a higher percentage than Miami.

Bubble is different from the current season of the NBA, it will never happen again, and this season, I did not see the Heat will advance in the NBA Finals. Honestly, I believe that they have not improve their line up but Nets and other teams have already improve.

Sorry for Heat fans, I'm also a fan before but trying to be honest with my opinion on their real chance this season.
That chance got lower.
Victor Oladipo right knee is hurt again. There's no update yet with their medical team but it was the same knee that made him miss a the 2019-2020 season.
They are still at number 6, all they is need is maintain that rank.
Coach Spoelstra is making changes and it can be seen in minutes per game. More for Herro less for Dragic.
Dragic is not helping much anymore, 0/4 at 3point and 5 turnovers which is the highest in the team.
Give the kid more experience and he will make buckets.  Grin

That's bad news for Miami, but in any case, they have been a solid team without Oladipo though, as long as the core is healthy like Bam and Butler. Dragic was contributing more in the playoffs, maybe coach Spo is just giving Herro his time and exposure to gain experience. But I do agree that somewhat Dragic game has fallen sharply. Maybe something is bothering him.

And if ever Herro gain that experience, it's hard to stop this kind once his outside shooting clicks. He just need to learn not to commit useless fouls though, as I have observed that he is making a lot. Specially fouling someone going into the basket and giving 2 free throws.

That's very frustrating in his part, he just came back from long recovery period because of injury, and now here it is again. Did anyone know how serious the injury is, will it made him missed another season again or will he come back soon?
