Not that it matters because the nets if all healthy will crush anyone in the East, but the knicks are really settling in on their annual 2nd half slide.  They continue to lose games by one or 2 points.  One shot here or there and its a different outcome.  They need to start winning these games.  Now sitting in the eighth slot things aren't looking hot for them.  A shame mitchell went down, with him in the game its a completely different knicks team.

Nash team up with Kobe before but they did not win a championship, so probably due to a bad coaching but here we are seeing the Nets with a great chemistry and it will be their key to winning the championship this season.
IIRC, the Lakers' head coaches were changed several times while Nash was there. So they probably had some problems with coaching and chemistry during that period. Also, I guess Kobe and Nash didn't win the championship together because they were already at the end of their careers.
I agree with you, I guess Nash already retired after that, I can't remember anymore but Nash was not anymore in his prime like when he was still playing with the Phoenix Suns, his MVP years. This Nets still has the players which are at their prime, so they'll probably win a championship here, no doubt.

Maybe the next question for Nets is that, can they handle the pressure now as the favorite to win the championship? Or are they going to choke in the playoffs?

Nah, they won't gonna choke. If they lose, they lose and that's because they are actually beatable. Yes they are such a strong team to beat, but a few good teams in the West like the Jazz, Nuggets, Lakers, and Clippers could actually beat the Nets team.
If you notice, Durant has been so fragile after he had a major Injury in GSW. Once he gets injured in post season, any team in the East could actually beat them. Kyrie and Harden's leadership hasn't prove anything yet. This is why I can say the Nets are such a stacked and strong team, but they're actually beatable.

I agree, I don't think the pressure on the them, if there will be some kind of push, it will be on the teams as they have to think of strategy to beat the Brooklyn Nets right now since Durant is playing again. But they are beatable.

On the contrary, I'm seeing the team playing as if they've nothing to lose, just enjoying each game until playoff time. Just like what GSW shows during their own dynasty run

As the best team in the NBA now, I think the first time they are playing together will bring pressure.

Look at the NBA futures betting odds, nets is now currently at number 1.

Brooklyn Nets   +250
Los Angeles Lakers   +330
Los Angeles Clippers   +600

It was Lakers then Clippers before but now they are the number 2, they are like the Warriors when the team was still dominant.

I guess the real definition of choke is the Bucks where they are the leading team in the regular season but can't even be in the ECF. Nets has not in the playoffs yet with this big 3, we need to witness what they'll do first before we judge and I think if they'll underperform in the playoffs, we might not see the big 3 in the next season.

Nuggets continues their hot win streak.

They beat the Spurs 106-96 and everyone is making their own contribution.
They are in 7 win streak now, and number 4 in standing behind the Clipperes. (https://ph.global.nba.com/standings/)

How long this streak will go?

I think they can extend it to at least 10 games, they will have Spurs back to back, then Celtics, might be a tough one, and then Warriors.

Maybe the next question for Nets is that, can they handle the pressure now as the favorite to win the championship? Or are they going to choke in the playoffs?

Let's talk about the playoffs once the playoffs come, I believe Nets will not choke in the playoffs because they are in the East and it's an easier journey for them compared to being in the West. If they old the number 1 spot, they'll face a weaker playoff team in the first round, and as long as all big 3 are healthy, Nets might dominate their opponent, even the other good teams in the East like Celtics, 76ers, and Heat.

Everyone from the rotation scores! A much dangerous Nets after KD's comeback!

Expect that handicap to soar high, very tough to bet against this team if they continue playing like this, with almost all can take you outside and those who penetrate are also got a high chance of making and1.
Welcome back KD then next Harden and Jordan, Ohh Wow! That's the expectations!
No one can complain about their performance here.
All the negativity before just fades away after this game.
I have the assumption that it will not work because of lack of chemistry. Nets had been adding new players in their roster and that doesn't work most of the times.
But for this team, it did work.
Ball rotation is there, they are not selfish and trust the other guy to contribute for their offense.
Assists stats 37 Nets against 23 Pelicans. What more if Harden is playing?  Shocked

We can also praise coach Nash for doing a beautiful job so far. I guess being a player himself, he can relate to all of this high caliber players and bring team to a common goal, which is to win the NBA championship this year.

It is still a long way to go, yes they will be the favourite now, but for sure other teams will want to beat team and prove that they are not invincible even with that celebrated line up of 3 superstar + a lot of good  caliber players.

That's given already, when the team playes well, the credit also goest to the coach because even how good the players but without a proper coaching and good chemistry, team will still not succeed. Nash team up with Kobe before but they did not win a championship, so probably due to a bad coaching but here we are seeing the Nets with a great chemistry and it will be their key to winning the championship this season.

Durant though with limited minutes is so impressive in this game. He has a perfect FG in this game and made 17 points in 19 minutes, how accurate is that? wow, I wasn't expecting this but I love what I see because he seemed not injured before with the way he played.

Right, that's why Nets with all the players healthy will be very difficult to beat because at any given time, the big 3 can explode. Just like what we've seen today, they have beaten a hapless Pels by more than 30 points. They are not sending the signal that since KD is back, they are going to run away and go for the championship this season. So they better be ready.

Sixers and Knicks are playing very hard, but I think that Knicks has fallen short again (that's been the case in their last 3 games).

Net's too good for for the Pelicans, the lead balloon to 30 points. Impressive game from Durant and then Kyrie and surprisingly Aldridge doing the damage. It seems that LaMarcus will be the big difference for the Nets now, as he can post and still play the Center position and be dominant.
Aldridge changed when Durant was around.
It's like he is the pandemic that affected the performance of his teammates.
Combined with Kyrie, Harris, and KD as a threat on outside shots, players on the painted area will have an easy job to make a bucket.

How are we going to bet for the Nets now? The handicap will soar from -15 to -20.  Grin
You don't want to be betting for the underdogs against this strong team.

I agree, if I'm not mistaken, this week underdog was winning like 10% (correct me If I'm wrong, I'm just basing it on my bets, which I usually bet for the underdog but so far, I've lost big).

Perhaps KD is that infectious to his team, Aldridge perform very very well, his numbers for this game is high. Maybe he got his second wind because of so many great players around him or he really wanted to show the Nets that he still got it and he his worth every penny.

The Nets are looking too good for anyone... I think when healthy this will be the best team in NBA history. I wasn’t expecting Blake Griffin to look so good and Aldridge obviously has a lot left in the tank as well. KD and Harden are 2 of the best 5 players on the planet and Kyrie isn’t too far behind. I think if they all stay healthy they will win the championship and it won’t even be close.
