No dream is too big and no dreamer is too small

A good win by GSW, I thought that they are really out of the game, the lead balloon to 10 points, 5-6 minutes in the game. But then they step it up, Oubre hitting three's and the winning 2 free throws. Then Steph also hitting as well. Just a different GSW when Steph as the leader in playing in the game. He was rested in the first half of the 4th quarter, but the team keep it at a distance and keeps fighting.

It's really a team effort, definitely, when Curry and Green play, the team is very confident to win the game. I like their young core also doing their job, playing good defense. Bucks is without Giannis though, but Middleton is the one who keep them in the game. It's that Golden State wanted this victory to keep their hopes a live.

For Sixers, Joel just pick where he left off, another MVP performance.

They still got that mentality, being former champ they have the fighting goals.

They've maintain that chemistry as even they are really playing tough the desire to stay in this competion still inside the whole
squad, Steph really step up lifting again his team to snatch this game, Congrats to those who take them for ML and handicap
it's really a good value bet.

Curry really needs to be healthy especially now that his team is struggling, that was a close win but a great win because that's against the Bucks. I like how cluth Curry is in this game, he really is a real superstar as he always deliver right when his team needed him the most.

Tough loss for the knicks tonight.  Had the game tied with 15 or so seconds to go and had the nets miss a shot.  Then give up an offensive rebound and a foul with 3 seconds to go.  They are starting to look like the second half knicks of past where they just flop into nothingness.  They need to snap this losing streak and string a couple wins together.

They are struggling, they need to solve this problem the soonest so they'll not go down. Nets are playing without Harden due to early exit but they just dont' have the ability to win in close game. Knicks had an impressive start but here we are back in the old days.

Completely feel like that.  In years past they played well up front and then before you know it they lose 16 out of 20 and are cemetery out of the picture.  Losing games by 1 or 2 points.   They need to win a couple of these games otherwise its just the same old same old knicks...I fear the latter 😑

Celtics and Sixers. What can you say about this game? I thought that this is going to be a close one.

However, Joel is playing and really unstoppable, 15 point lead, it will be very difficult for the Celtics to overcome specially how the Sixers is playing.

76ers is so strong.
Even the 2nd unit is difficult to defeat. With Dwight Howard leading the defense there is no way someone could just shoot at the paint without hesitating.
9 rebound in just 14 minutes of game time.  Shocked
He's defense is contagious, that's the problem of the Celtics and it gives a lot of time for Embiid to fully rest and come back fresh to attack again.

Celtics defeated and 76ers now tied with the Nets at 35-16.

They are leading Toronto by more than 25 points, so chances are high that they will get a win (unless they collapse).

But the next 2 and the last 5 will be a tough game for them, Miami and Brooklyn and Boston, for sure they will be the underdogs.

And then another top 2 teams in the West to finish, so probably 7th is where they land after this 10 game stretch.

They trying hard even though their star players are not around and only those who are the best support in the team are the ones who play today, they managed to give Toronto Raptors a pain in the neck with that lead I doubt they gonna catch up with Lakers in the last quarter. If they can get a win today, then the next games are fine as long they play the way they play today. so far Markieff Morris has the highest point. I wonder if he gonna keep this up to the last quarter.

I think it's no surprised that most of the athletes right now are into bitcoin or crypto in general. And this is a good news to us hearing someone as famous as Giannis, mentioning BTC, who knows maybe he has invested already.
Not a surprise at all. We've seen Spencer Dinwiddie in the past too saying that he wants his salary to be paid in Bitcoin.
Another one is Mark Cuban which is we know the owner of the Dallas Mavericks and now he is heavily involved in crypto and now in NFT's.

Is this a surprise? I don't think so too. Bitcoin and crypto in general are becoming more popular within these past 2 years and now more establishments are adopting it. There is no surprise for me if in the future, there will be some NBA players who wants them to be paid in Bitcoin or other cryptos or there will be some tickets that will be sold with cryptos as a mode of payment.

It is possible that he himself is a silent investor, well blurting out "Bitcoin" in public doesn't make him a lowkey now, everyone now knows that Giannis is into crypto and maybe some other NBA players too.

Maybe the question is how much he has invested already, Smiley
Yeah its possible that he is investing for a long time already and its possible too that he isn't the only NBA player that is investing into it. Probably there are some NBA players who invested into it too but remaining silent.
I'm quite curious too regarding how much did he invested on it and at what price/year did he bought. Cheesy

So, I am expecting the Lakers will fall below the 6th to 7th spot.

I am sure in next 10 games Davis will get back, but their schedule is deadly. It would be a big surprise to stay better than 7th by then.

Fri, Apr 9   @Miami
Sun, Apr 11 @Brooklyn
Tue, Apr 13 @New York
Wed, Apr 14 @Charlotte
Fri, Apr 16   vsBoston
Sat, Apr 17 vsUtah

What about this answer came from Giannis that says Bitcoin, where someone has asked them what they do for a living.. just a word Bitcoin though, will it matter or not?
It does matter.

Giannis is a very known NBA player and what I see is that he wants to remain lowkey on that guy's content and don't want to say that he's a known NBA player.

And with the popularity of bitcoin, he's in and also can think of a theory that he's just a silent investor.

Don't see any official statement about that but if thats the case well he should use his influence to help gather more hype since if he create a noise on social media platform about his bitcoin investment for sure he will earn a huve profit for just a single tweet only. We know how big influence what Giannis have so this could give a good flip on the bitcoin market if this is true.

NBA and crypto, a pairing made in heaven.  It's crazy to think that Giannis even knows what Bitcoin is.  It goes to show you that most folks nowadays are aware of what it is and that it's making a lot of people a lot of money.  I'm not sure this is a good sign of a healthy market, but hopefully the bubble isn't ready to pop yet.
We are waaaay beyond the days when we started. I remember once I went to a job interview for a position at a great company, and they asked me why I didn't have much on my resume and I said I deal with crypto currencies and made some money that way which is why I didn't needed to work during that period, they asked me "isn't it dangerous to tell people you are in crypto?" like it was something illegal and something that I should be ashamed of myself.

This is why I think it is clear that we are on a whole different situation right now, companies like tesla going in, wall street companies started to really look into it, and many other stuff that made bitcoin a lot more popular. Now it doesn't have that "dark net money" type of vibe anymore, it is just an investment and people know that people who are into bitcoin made a lot of money and that is why they can say it so clearly.

Bringing this one to the public will heat it up for more people to gain interest with Bitcoin,

Giannis as another silent endorser of this new system who knows if he already invested to this market.

Such word impacts a lot since there are fans who will follow him and those who ain't know nothing about BTC will look upon and might be adding to possible investors/holders along the way.

Is this some kind of manipulation to get the fans watch more basketball? Making known personalities do such thing for publicity?
I don't get it. Or, will that be a part of a movie scene or a Netflix series.
It was said that day was also his son's birthday. I won't be foolish enough to do such a thing to humiliate my son even in my drunk moments.
Hope that wasn't the case here and that wouldn't be good for the whole NBA community, I suppose. We don't know the whole story about what really had happened but it was really inappropriate that his son would get into humiliation of what he does, I think he needs to do a public apology about it, just my two cents.

Looks like Paul Pierce was let go by ESPN. I guess he probably shouldn’t have posted that video of him at a house party with a bunch of strippers, I’m not sure what he was thinking. With all that’s going on today and athletes not respecting women he had to of known this was coming. It looks like his excuse is that he meant to hit private only but the video was posted publicly for everyone to see. I guess we’ll have to wait and hear what his public apology sounds like. He wasn’t very good as a commentator anyway, so I don’t think fans will miss him too much.

While he may want to be remembered for saying, “I called game.” I think more likely he’ll be remembered for having to be carried off the floor during a game because he crapped his pants.
Something is wrong.
He then posted Good Morning the next day and then this.

Hey NBA fans! Have you watched the video about this famous Tiktoker who has been asking crazy rich people what they do for living?
Well, guess what? He ran across Giannis and Thanasis Antetokounmpo and ask him what he do for living, and he answered "Bitcoin" (jokingly).
 https://youtu.be/ubbXedp6cwM
(video not mine)

Well, this is another exposure for Bitcoin in social media coming from a sports celebrity.

What do you guys think?

He was joking but they were already expose with what is bitcoin, and I believe there are already a lot of NBA players who are investing with bitcoin, they are just not vocal with it, except for Spencer Dinwiddie/ (https://news.bitcoin.com/nba-star-spencer-dinwiddie-just-tokenized-his-own-contract/)

If they have millions of followers then definitely that would make their followers curious and that would help the adoption of crypto.

I suppose most of them are already aware of especially now that the Sacramento Kings are now offering an option to pay their players and staff in Bitcoin.
Though this franchise have been accepting Bitcoin for their tickets and food in 2014, but it's still nice to hear from them that they bring it back.
So, with Giannis and the Sacramento Kings Bitcoin involvement that has circulating the social media today, I guess Bitcoin has made enough exposure not only for the players and staff of the NBA but also with the fans.
I guess every team in the NBA has at least 1 person who have an idea about bitcoin, actually we have a lot of celebrities who are investing on bitcoin and  we can consider NBA players as celebrities as they are also popular. This is a great development for adoption, them supporting would help investors and users to be convince that bitcoin is legit and it has a potential in the future.
