I think Deandre Jordan will keep his starting position, the trick here is that Blake Griffin is not healthy, and if you have Lamarcus Aldridge and Deandre Jordan both playing together, you are creating a huge line up, but you are also risking on defense a lot because both players are not great on defense when it comes to guarding people outside.

So, I think it will be a bit of like Blake and Deandre playing at PF and C on starting, and they will be forced to rest a lot anyway, not like they can play all game, so LMA will probably be the sixth guy coming in to keep them away all the time, like take Deandre out and put LMA in and then put deandre in but take blake out so LMA plays 20+ minutes per game that way. I am not sure how they are planning on doing it honestly, it is going to be a bit hard to handle it, but it is going to definitely be a huge help for them to get the ring.

Nets management is doing everything to take the championship. That's a lot of money on the line, I hope they will fulfill their goal this year.

Nets management is probably Kyrie Irving. Nets management did well to get Kyrie Irving from Boston. Then they could just sit back and enjoy the ride.   This buyouts and sighing for minimum salaries are ...

I think DeAndre Jordan will still be the starting center with the Nets and probably Aldridge coming in the middle of the first quarter to replace him. Unless Nash wanted to switch the two regarding the starting center. Aldridge has matured already and he could be power forward or true center and could play both positions. Just like what AD is doing, last season it's either Howard or McGee as center and then AD as power forward. So I think Jordan can still be inserted in the picture here.

More prefer to see Both of them inside, Aldridge should play power forward and let Jordan to play center.

It's a tough starting five if they'll bring the trio of KD, Kyrie and Harden plus this two big man inside, knowing KD can always adjust and make the interior defense more difficult for anyone to attack.

Everything will depend now with how Coach Nash handle this overpower lineup.

Not just Cleveland’s heart. I had money on the Cavs.  Cry

I should know better than to bet against my hometown. De’Aaron Fox was spectacular as usual and outplayed Collin Sexton for the win.
Too bad.
You could've won it if not for the Barnes shot.
If I'm not mistake, LaMarcus Aldridge plays more in a position as Power Forward,  so he is not a natural big man though his height is really for centers. However, if you compare with Jordan, he has been playing as a center in his entire career, all what he does best is his defense and some dunks if there's an opportunity.
That's correct. He's listed as a power forward.
But with the game Nets will play it won't matter to them.
They need speed and shooters and Aldridge fits the description needed by the team.

Could also be the reason why they are not offering anything to Drummond. They have Jordan already which can focus on rebounds and they just want to someone to fill the blank whenever Jordan needs a rest. I bet they will use Aldridge more as a center.

LaMarcus Aldridge has decided to sign with the Brooklyn Nets!

They might be the most stacked team in history. If the Lakers don’t pick up Drummond I’m not sure any other team in the NBA has a chance. This Nets squad could probably take down the 2016 Warriors...

Edit: Damn, got beat posting the news by a few seconds!

So potential first five of Nets:

Center - L. Aldridge
Power Forward - B. Griffin
Small Forward - K. Durant
Shooting Guard - K. Irving
Point Guard - J. Harden

Yeah, could be the most stack up teams in the modern era. Even the '96 can't match with this the Nets.

This is awesome news for Nets and bad news for all of their opponents.  Grin  I can't wait to see Nets playing with this starting five. The team which can put up a good fight against them are only Lakers now I think. Nets are getting more favourite for being the champions by these news.

These are all star players, now where is Deandre Jordan will insert? is he going to be a bench or 2nd unit here? I'm not complaining though as these really are good players but I believe Jordan is good defensively so he is more needed than any other center in the team.

I'm very sure that there will be a nice competition for the center position between D. Jordan and L. Aldridge. They are both good centers. Nets can have difficulties while making a choice. But I believe both of them will play very nicely.

Imagine that what a solid 5 star starter and I think many teams are now preparing hard to beat the nets. They are now closer to get the ring with these guys but let still see how they fit on the team since we know big stars always want to show some good career higlights.

I would have pursued Andre instead of Aldrige for the center position if I were the nets, Aldridge has a back issue even when in blazers, same with the spurs, I'm not saying he's not a good player but I like Andre more, but let's see how he fits with the nets, but when you look at the starting five, its a wall, solid starting five.

If I'm not mistaken, it was Drummond's decision not to join the Nets for whatever reason. And probably that's the reason why they chase the next Center on the list which is the veteran Aldridge.

So their stocks goes up again with this latest acquisition and getting closer to a NBA ring. It will be a big disappointment though if thing goes South for them this season. So let's see how he will fit in the system of coach Nash.

SacramentoKings  are on fire with their 4th win in row. Harrison Barnes' deserves to be gifted some crypto for that incredible shot! You really broke Cleveland's heart. Lol

Kings are really fired up and this win streak helped them to get really close to the playoffs. GSW have been losing 4 times in a row which have made things easier for Kings. I also liked D. Fox's performance very much (36 points, 4 rebounds, 6 assists).

Is this final? I thought that this is still a rumor. But anyway, looks like the Nets are getting stronger in their force and really serious in taking this seasons ring.

Exciting.
Yeah, it's final because NBA already posted a report on the official site about it. Aldridge is going to sign a 1-year contract with the Nets.
On paper, the Nets(All-star) roster will be unbelievable and unstoppable, and I'll be excited to see them in action in the playoffs.
It seems that the Nets are going to take the ring this time. That was an unexpected transfer from Aldridge. A big man with the others that can really contribute pretty well to the team.

This is a superteam and I think most will agree to that or I'm just hyped on it or all of us were.

Buzzer beater from the Sacramento Kings.
That was a good shot from the 3 point line by Harrison Barnes. Wrong decision from defender staying at his back. Should've went forward and deflected the ball.
Ref won't let them win with a great defensive block calling it as a goal tending but they still found a way for a win.
Now they can savor the win with a better ending.  Cheesy

Barnes was 0-2 at the 3 point line before that winning shot.

I think Aldridge is fit to be there since Drummond is OP and he needs to go to another team really. The best thing about Aldridge being in the Nets will give him some good role where he can be the best support for their PF or Center. He and Blake were amazing in their prime and they still have the skills within themself to support their team. This is the best team in the eastern conference, I wonder if they can really bring this team into the championship.

I dont know where they get all of this money from out of nowhere. They are building a mostrum of a team. I havent seen anything like this.
Nets have always been one of the worst teams in the nba now out of nowhere the making the biggest team in history of basketball

Nets is -$53.2M upon acquiring Harden. Then they signed Griffin with a veteran minimum contract.
Now Aldridge. I don't see any record yet of how much was offered. But, it may just also be a minimum contract for they will be paying a lot of luxury tax if they go higher.
Nets management is doing everything to take the championship. That's a lot of money on the line, I hope they will fulfill their goal this year.
They can let some players go when KD is fully healed.
