Nuggets finally won a game, and thanks to N. Jokic, his struggle is over, he scored a triple double tonight to get this win.

30 points, 10 assists, and 12 rebounds. It was a thrilling game, it went to OT but the Nuggets dominate on the OT.

Paul's fault though as he missed 1/2 of FT that could give them a win.

Well, bad news for Spurs that they are going to play against Sixers and that game will be a tough one, they have won their first 2 games but Sixers is a team that wants to go to finals this year if they can, so that game will be a tough one and I wouldn't bet for spurs to win.
Sixers is heavily favored against the Spurs, they are -7 right now, but I think sixers still needs to prove and win more, they lose their last game against the Pacers so I don't think spurs does not have a chance here, let's see if Embiid can abuse inside that LA is not their.

However good news for Spurs, Portland blazers the team that is trailing spurs will play rockets and that does look like a very tough game for Portland as well. All in all that 8th spot for western conference will have a very fiery competition, I would love to watch who ends up getting it, I think only grizzlies, spurs and Portland has a chance, and if there is 4 game difference between the 8th and 9th that means they will play a game to 3 between them as well which I think if that happens Spurs would get that.
The only good news is if the Memphis will keep losing as they are holding the current number 8 spot now, that's the only way they will qualify.

Chances also that these teams wants to prove they are better than the number 8.
They want to keep on winning against them to get that one chance to steal their spot.

Yes, Grizzlies have been doing well. Perhaps they are also considering to not be pressured so much right now. Keep their full strength until they go head to head for whichever team they will go against.

Must be tough. I'm curious which team would you bet on to claim the 8th spot? Me, well I'm still rooting for Grizzlies despite their two defeats, since it was just a very close game. And they must be troubling about it  Undecided.

And so, I am pretty sure they will do much better on their next game though. They just need to improve their defense (this is where, I think, they were lacking)  Sad. On the other hand, their offense was no doubt great, they can score pretty well both behind the arc, and inside as well, won't deny that.

Memphis is in bad shape since restart, while Spurs are getting wins in a row, so eight place fight on west could be interesting after all, it looks solved before pandemic, but now seems that Spurs could make it interesting, especially if they win the match in Philadelphia tonight, i am considering putting them on my list, with low stake, it is an over @3 quote

and as good bet, will put New Orleans as well, Memphis has a lot of injured players, so this should be an easy one

I think Memphis are just unlucky, their last two loses was a close game, first it was an OT loss, and 2nd a very close game against the spurs.
Well, they have the advantage in ranking but with that 2 loses, things are getting better now, if they can hold on to the last spot, good for them.

Agree, they have an opportunity to win each game in their last two games but they are just too unlucky.

Based on the standing, https://tv5.espn.com/nba/table.. they are still way ahead, so spurs needs to keep winning if they want that last shop.
Blazers loss against the Celtics, so there chances now decreases.

One win by the Memphis, that would be a relief to them.

Three things changed with the Raptors team from last year that made them so good, now don't get me wrong I do not think they will go to finals, probably won't even see the conference finals but they were expected to be horrible and yet they are not so that is why three things changed that made them good statement.

One of them is the fact that Pascal Siakam improved a lot, he improved last year but he kept improving this year as well, dude is amazing and that does cover a bit of the lack of kawhi thing, secondly OG improved as well, that is more like replacement for Danny Green thing but he did improved a lot, thirdly Nick Nurse is a national treasure and dude knows how to use every player to best of his abilities and studies basketball like a student all the time to figure out new stuff to improve.
Lakers had just lost. Inl watch the game and it really not nice play with lakers. They were being beaten in the last quarter. It so damn dissapoiting to see good team that you expect to win. Big man are in the lakers and the team is healthy while raptors had no kawhi leonard though they still got good young players. Anyway, hopefully if raptors will going to make it into the finals then my bet will be for this team.

However, I still do believe in lakers that will be able to make it into championship this year. It just a one lost game for them. Maybe lakers should do more next game.

Lakers still have the chance not just because they've lost the game means that they are no longer dominant.
The league still far from the finals so it's not a big thing if they'll get some loses. It will be a different though when it turned to the second round where every teams will aimed to win each games that they've had to make sure
to advance their chance to semis.
I still have faith in Lakers, or should I say, still have faith in King James. His IQ when playing game is so awesome. The way he plan and execute the plays. The way he do his role. Yup Lakers will do more in next game and they will do their best to win the game. We all know that. They do not repeat their mistake and they always strive for the win. They still have the potential to line up in finals.

They are  great and their rooster is also competitive and the game will change once they are on playoffs, for now maybe we can see their games sometimes in the downside but for sure they will recollect their selves when they are near on their goals. I think there's a mental effect of the current pandemic since I don't enjoy much the games right now the physicality has lessen.

While watching the Houston vs Bucks and the past games.

I can't remove it on my mind that is like I'm watching someone who's just playing NBA2k.

Looks like James Harden prediction is correct, Rockets has been winning lately and they just beat the Bucks today.

It was a fun game to watch, battle of the legit teams with real chances to win an NBA Championship, so you guys still think Giannis is good?

he tanked in this game, that pass of him was very predictable and the way he move as well.
I still think of him as a good player, he scored good for this game yet lost. I'll watch their next game against Nets.

It's fun to see players with goals.
Now, I am liking his attitude.
Unlike before, there is something different about him.
Maybe something was shared by Westbrook to lit the fire on him once again.

What I don't like is the unsportsmanlike habit of Harden without shaking hands after the game when they lose, specially in playoffs.
Basketball's goal is that, to show sportsmanship.
I can't even remember him shaking anyone's hands.

Perhaps, he had learned too much in his NBA career, same as the other players, each game helped them to learn something new, and to avoid their mistakes in their next games, that is why from time to time, NBA games are getting better and better. The same way as how sports betting develops, it became more complex for us to predict which team will win in a game, and so as which team will be this seasons champion.

But since sports betting is a form of gambling, we should accept that it will really be hard to predict NBA game outcome, there are tons of factors, player's skills, court, crowd, momentum and more.

Most people did not expect, so no pressure on them as they are a Leonard less team, but if they will and they can prove they are a good team, a championship team, then we should appreciate them as a legit champion.

you got it right man, this team has no issue when it comes to teamwork, coach did his job very well, and players were able to do their task in the court.
Who are these players before they bring the championship last year? nobody, right? But man, their news are getting popular now as they were notice, I thought this team will only stick with DeRozan and Lowry tandem.

Let's credit that to the coaching staff, these guys would not excel in the team if not because of the good coaching and training.
Remember, people thought that Raptors are over when Leonard left, but no, they showed the same strength and they are even better now, so I still consider them as a team that has a potential to win back to back championship.

Indeed.
Since Nick Nurse came to that team something awesome happened.
Kawhi 's addition back then was a bonus. It's the roleplayers that worked so hard to take the title.

Those guys are really scary, to beat lakers just like that it's a scene you can't see every day. I agreed if they going to play this way until the playoffs and through the finals, they're chance to win back to back championship are possible. Unless they will choke on the playoffs since Leonard is not there anymore. Anyway, I am also rooting for this team since they won against Warriors on finals last year.
It's Philadelphia which gave them a hard time.
GSW is just so easy that year after the injuries.

So, can we now conclude that the Demar DeRozan trade was a good one?  Grin Considering what the Raptors is achieving now.
