Dates that notable players with new teams will be visiting their former teams during the 2018-19 season.

DATE

Carmelo Anthony at OKC   Nov. 8
LeBron James at CLE           Nov. 21
DeAndre Jordan at LAC   Dec. 20
Kawhi Leonard at SA           Jan. 3
Blake Griffin at LAC           Jan. 12
Tony Parker at SA           Jan. 14
DeMar DeRozan at TOR   Feb. 22

Interesting to see how the Cleveland will react to James. The first time he transferred it was really ugly and there are reports that some fans burned James Jersey. But I think Cavs fans will be soft this time, because he was able to bring a trophy (which he promised.) Tony Parker will be embraced by San Antonio and perhaps gives him tribute when he goes back and play on Jan. 14.

He tried his best. Actually I have never seen a player played that much just like Lebron James minutes. It is too exhausting just watching him almost not having a break.

He had a mindset of a champion and yet it is just short and I dont blame the other players of Cleveland too. It is just too hard to reach a certain game like Lebron. He is really on his peak of playing basketball.

I want to see DeRozan ex-team reaction though. He is one of the best in Toronto and now here is what happened.

Yes. DeRozan is also going to be something big when he goes back to Toronto again. Seems that he doesn't like to leave the Raptors but its business and as much as the fans wanted him, the management makes the final decision. He will be appreciated, because he was traded and didn't left like what Lebron in "The Decision", or Durant decisions on moving to GSW.

What do you mean by "when he goes back"?

What I meant is DeRozan going back to play as ex-Toronto Raptors in  Scotiabank Arena on Feb. 22.

Oh I see. It's going be nothing but love and respect. It was the managements decision at the end of the day. The fans will show love.

I think they Cavs fans will be softer than the last time that he is on Miami. They have accepted and they knew it already that he will leave Cleveland after the season.

I think what is interesting is how the Raptors fans will respond with DeRozan and the Spurs fans with Leonard.

A lot of happenings today, I think this hasn't been posted.

NBA trade news: Kyrie Irving and Jimmy Butler exits, Raptors confirm deal, Lakers claim

Interesting to hear that Kyrie Irving doesn't want to sign a extension with the Celtics. He even haven't had the time to show his skills in a Celtics uniform and now his thinking of leaving them? Is he thinking of joining another team that has a star and be a potential super teams? I don't know about Butler's case though, he also turns down a lucrative contract offered to him.

It got me thinking that it he doesn't really wanted to play with Boston, but since he has no choice last year. He want out of Cavaliers and that time Boston has a good offer. He take it, play a few games, need to be sidelined because he got injured. Perfect. Now he is looking for a new team to get a super max contract and make him more money.
Actually he is doing well in Boston, when he was still healthy he was the main man.
However, I believe that Kyrie wants to be the star in a team that plays most minutes, Boston has a different style of play because they want everyone to score.

I guess kyrie is doing all of this to himself. I mean butler might had a problem with timberwolves I wouldn't blame him however kyrie is just a diva apparently. His way of leaving cavs and after that he is pulling this off with celtics ? If you look at the contract deal, he will make more money staying in celtics one more year and signing a new contract next year instead of extension. So, why would he sign now when he can sign next year and make more money ? I hope that is the case, if its not than kyrie will just spiral downwards in his career and be lost and only remembered like jason williams as a person who had handles and magician moves and nothing else. Well that and the 2016 ring because he had a big part in that too.

Is it possible that Kyrie will team up with Lebron James again, I mean they work better together and they are a threat.

Kyrie Irving is known for his attitude of having a "serious" pride. Even there is chances, I will give a 0.55% that LBJ and Irving will teamed up again. Teaming with LBJ again will resulf of a wild criticism for Irving. He did partways to pursue his own goal and reason and so he must pushed it no matter what.

Interesting to hear that Kyrie Irving doesn't want to sign a extension with the Celtics. He even haven't had the time to show his skills in a Celtics uniform and now his thinking of leaving them? Is he thinking of joining another team that has a star and be a potential super teams?

Boston Celtics already have that kind of players and we seen how deadly they are even without Kyrie on the floor, so clearly he does have his own reason for not dealing on a contract extension.

...and to be honest Butler and Irving is not a good pair.

Honestly, Jimmy Butler is inconsistent. Period lol.

Interesting to hear that Kyrie Irving doesn't want to sign a extension with the Celtics. He even haven't had the time to show his skills in a Celtics uniform and now his thinking of leaving them?
He knows that the Celts are going to be good even without him judging from the Eastern Conference Finals last season.

Quote

I think not considering that the Celtics will have Hayward back to it's roster and this could make them a team to beat at the East. He may have problem with the Celtic's front office  Grin.
Is it possible that Kyrie will team up with Lebron James again, I mean they work better together and they are a threat.
There are a lot of surprises actually but I hope he will be in a team that has a championship potential, and I also hope he will be fully healthy to finish a season, especially the off season.
I believe it is not possible that kyrie might not team up with LeBron, I think that Lakers have their own people to be with King James in order to win and look, their rookies might be the superstar Lakers might need right? So, they must stay on the track with the king.
According to the news, Irving and Butler might go with the Knicks or the Nets. I think they must go to Knicks so that Porzingis have some good teammates to play with. I don't think Irving will go Lakers. Magic will focus on his young players and will train them in order to win a championship.
Kyrie Irving has lost it when he quit Lebron and to be honest Butler and Irving is not a good pair.

I am still shocked that people even after so many straight finals and so many times carrying his horrible cavs teams they can still question lebron james. I understand beating warriors or rockets could be a problem but lets face it warriors are not "having fun" like they used to and rockets lost key part of their team with ariza, now I do not think lebron will have west side finals but he sure as hell is not staying out of playoffs. He will give people their moneys worth and have a shot at actually disrupting other teams.

Also, this year is not really the year lakers are looking into being great again, this year is the year lakers are getting by. Next year when there is huge names in the free agency, they will go hard after a lot of players and if they can get couple good names into this roster they will be amazing. Simple strategy, hope to get good players next year and hope warriors fall apart on contract negotiations.

After a series of back-and-forths, it looks like Cleveland Cavaliers guard Jordan Clarkson is finally cleared to suit up for team Philipines in Asian Games in Jakarta.

Good news to all Filipino fans out there. Finally Jordan Clarkson was given a green light by the NBA and this is a opportunity that his been dreaming, to represent the country and play under Gilas Philippines. Please take note though that this grant from NBA also includes Rockets’ center Zhou Qi and Dallas forward Ding Yanyuhang to play in the Asian Games.

Can't believe the new NBA season is almost here already.  I'm really curious how long Lebron can keep up his elite level of play considering how old he is.  It's extremely impressive how many games James had played without any serious injuries coming straight out of high school to the NBA at 18 years old.  He is one of the most durable players the league has ever seen.

Maybe until his son playing in NBA. Anyway, I'm a fan of Lakers but  I'm pretty sure that this season LeBrown James will not make LA Lakers NBA Finals or even playoffs.
See how strong Western Conference is.

I might agree that there will be no 9th consecutive finals appearance for LeBron James now but for playoffs appearance I believed they will. I don't see how they can't able to finished even at 8th spot on the West. A young and unexperienced Los Angeles Lakers last season finished last season at 11th spot with just 12 games winning behind to the top 8th on the West.

I see Lakers will finished at 4th to 5th spot on the West.
West finals really a question since Lebron is teaming up with young generations and new stars, might be having chemistry issue but meeting the playoffs I also agree with his capability to play well and to lift his team to a much better position, though we are all waiting for this new season to open we are looking for the team we supported to excel and show a good run.
