What's wrong with Butler? If I'm not mistaken, he's had a normal style throughout his NBA career, especially when he was with the Bulls. But in recent seasons, there's something wrong with him because he's been dramatically experimenting with changing his hairstyle. Is it because of the losses in the finals series?
Honestly, I wouldn't be surprised if Butler looked like Cousin Itt from the Addams Family next season. Grin

I believe he is doing it now like a tradition since last year is hilarious and everybody loves his shot. I was skeptical at first seeing his picture on the leaderboard stats last year which I thought there’s just a mistake now it confirms that he is just trolling his photo shoot.

This might be his tradition now just like Westbrook before which showing off during his weird sense of fashion. I thought he is from the my chemical romance the first time I saw his pics on social media without reading the caption.  Cheesy

Whatever his intention, he succeeded in gaining the attention of the fans because of his hairstyle, reminiscent of Rihanna's. Anyway, that media day is good as it gives us a thrill and a feeling that the NBA will be back soon. The Heat did not make significant changes to their lineup; they'll remain underrated, but this team is still one to watch.

Of course, we were excited about the moves of the Bucks, as Lillard was supposed to be going to the Heat, yet it didn't happen. Also, regarding Boston, they made a major move by adding two star players to the roster, namely Holiday and Porzingis, so let's see how their chemistry will blend.

I really do not have any idea how people are making weird things look cool or acceptable. Some things are just not acceptable across the board. Just like a white person saying the N word is not going to be accepted around the world anywhere, some fashions are just not acceptable by people in the whole world. If a man wears a dress, and says he's a woman, it is not going to be acceptable in any logic based society.

I feel like I am going off track. Anyway, this was definitely weird to see. But as you said, this might actually be something which players do to Collab with some fashion brands and also increase the popularity of both the brand and themselves. But they definitely end up doing some stupid things like this.

Honestly, Jimmy Buckets is a genius not just inside the court but also in taking the hearts of fans and not.
They didn't take Lillard with them but they're still one of the contenders to go in the finals as they've been one of those teams that has been consistent every playoffs and finals.

I'm thinking that it could motivated him more to produce another great season for the Heat. I'm saying for the team because Jimmy Butler is know to elevate his game and not just thinking for those individual accolade. He almost got the ring for Miami though, twice already, one in the bubble against the Lakers and then last year. And the thing is that no one even saw that they can go to the Finals, and thanks to Jimmy for doing that.
Yeah, they're likely the least favorite team last season that will be seen in the finals but they just did.

I really thought the pictures on the internet about him were just edited and memes but no, they are real.

Yeah, it's for real mate, kinda like a "emo", Lol. Not only the hair, but it was a complete getup, with painted black nails and piercing lips, nose. But let's not forget about his do last year,

https://twitter.com/ComplexSports/status/1708854236631666825

And also he said this in their media day:

Quote
“We're going to end up in the Finals and this time we'll win it.”

So that is a man with a mission, don't sleep on the Heat.
Now, most teams are going to take a look at them as well and not just with the defending champs. It's very likely that everyone who's going to face them will get a serious face from them.
Would love to see him play in the finals with that emo hairdo. LOL.

Yes, I think the Warriors can adjust without Draymond in the early part of the next season, they have recently acquired Dario Saric. So this is a big test for him to somewhat be in the position that Draymond used.

As for Kuminga, him and Andrew Wiggins should take part of the PF to SF position. Either can have a night wherein they are going to be the biggest contributor in Warriors offense. And Kuminga is very athletic indeed that's why the Warriors chooses to still be in team as he can improved a lot and not just like Poole who complains a lot and seems the be the fame gets into his head last season.

Draymond Green improves ball movement on the court, so not having him early in the season might not give them a good start as expected. The good news is that they have CP3, who is known for his playmaking; he can certainly fill the loss of Draymond. With new players who have helped improve their interior defense, I think the Warriors will be okay.

The Warriors have a deep experience including chemistry and CP3 is a good playmaker so they should be fine offensively. Defensively they might really struggle but Kerr can change the line-up including its starting 5 so I guess they'll do well. Even Kerr is confident Thompson can defend up to the PF position. Unless its star players aren't performing well, especially the aging CP3 then.

The new season is nearing its start. It will be interesting how the teams with major changes like Boston and Milwaukee fare. Boston acquiring Jrue was a great move IMO.

Possible to see Steph, CP3, Wiggins, Klay and Green, very small line up but if the offense will click it's also
a good running game play for this starting unit.

Dang, one point guard and two shooting guards at a time! The offense is definitely good but the defense will surely be a problem for the Warriors if this is their starting lineup. Surprisingly, three of these five players are averaging 5 rebounds per game which may be a good point for this lineup.

For me, I would bench Klay and make Jonathan Kuminga a starter in the forward position because of his athleticism, size, and skill.
I don't see anything big in the changes though, Kuminga might start as well since Draymond is out for 4-5 weeks because of injuries and then Looney in the center position. There are times that they used this kind of starting 5 before with Poole, so they could do the rotation like before. So this is just normal for them to see one point guard and 2 shooting guards and it has been effective for them if I may say. And speaking of Kuminga, I think he will again be part of the future of the Warriors, this kid is slowly developing into one of the best NBA player and there are reports that he is still growing and close to 7'0'' now.

I'm glad the Warriors kept Kuminga. Though he wasn't very useful last playoffs, I still believe in this player as the athleticism is already there. He just needs to mature more and play with great chemistry with the team. He's a young talent that they can develop. Hopefully, he won't act like Poole once he improves his play.

Well, losing Draymond, although temporarily, is really huge, but there's still time for him to come back.

I'm sure the Warriors won't struggle too much.

They became more smaller and I guess this is the weakness of this line up which possibly like to target their opponent and use more bigs to defeat them. Small ball line up is not working fine at the moment since for so many time they are been exposed and for sure coaches of different team already know how to deal with them. But let see what rotation they bring up since GSW seems have a good surprise but I guess Paul will play at the bench together with Looney or either Kuminga. Klay might don't like the idea playing at bench so most provably he will be part of their starting five, to many fans excited to know on how they can work out their team so let see how this team perform this season and if they can place on playoffs since many question them if they are a title contender team or not.

Steve Kerr seems ready to let Chris Paul start in the Warriors lineup. He said today that he plans to let Klay Thompson guard the opposing team’s power forward in this upcoming season. I’m not sure how long that will last as Klay certainly can’t match up against guys like Anthony Davis. I think CP3 will be coming off the bench pretty quick.

If they will experiment from that setup, I'm assuming that it will be Green to play as their center.

Though like you mentioned, Placing Klay to guard the power forward someone like AD and Giannis might
tough for him, knowing that after that hard injury, they might be putting him at risk.

Wow Boston just landed jrue holiday for a couple picks and so.e bench pieces (I like Robert Williams a lot though).  That's a great pick up from Boston.  Now I need to see the Bucks and Boston play, those games will be fun to watch.

Low key Portland is stacking 2028-20230 first round picks.  If these kids end up good and Blazers are a top team in the west by the end of the decade they are gonna have some serious draft capital to play with.  Great move all around.

Boston management just plain knows what they’re doing when it comes to making trades and signing players. Other than the Gordon Hayward and Kyrie Irving disasters, their record has been phenomenal. This deal puts them back up with the top tier teams in the East. A great pickup for them and a nice side effect to the Lillard trade.

Yeah, they lost Marcus Smart and Rob Williams, but they were able to get Jrue and then KP. So they are still in the top tier of the Eastern conference together with the Bucks. So it's going to be a good fight for the top spot in the East and it will be amazing to see this two fighting it out.

So great move and hopefully it will translate to something like the Celtics rejuvenated this season even if they lost their lead in Marcus Smart. It's just funny though that Miami, the first team that Dame wanted to play has end up nothing. But they have stack up future picks and so as what we have thought, they are in the rebuilding phase for the next 3-5 years.
Heat would like Damian Lillard to go there, but the Bucks made it happen and managed to bring Dame to Milwaukee

Regarding the Celtics, I believe that the team completely rebuilt itself, Willians and Smart left, but on the other hand Jrue and KP went to Boston.
I even believe that the Blazers made an interesting negotiation, Brogdon and Willians are good players and they also acquired draft picks for the next seasons... I believe that the Blazers are thinking about the future and a possible major restructuring of the team in the next years

And the Bucks are still not done with their acquisition as they get Cam Payne from Phoenix with a 1 year deal.

Quote
The Milwaukee Bucks are signing former Sun point guard Cameron Payne to a one-year contract, a story broken by Shams Charania of The Athletic.

https://www.nbcsports.com/nba/news/bucks-sign-point-guard-cameron-payne-to-one-year-contract

And obviously, he will be a back up guard with the Bucks, Lillard will be the primary for sure and then Payne coming to replace him as just what he did with CP3 and him at Phoenix. For sure they are also banking on Cam as he got plenty of experience as well from CP3 as he is the mentor. So let's see how far he can stretch the guard position, maybe contributing around 10 points as average will be good enough for Milwaukee as the bulk of their offense will be Dame and Giannis.
Yes, great observation! With this recent acquisition, I believe it was beneficial for the Bucks.
If Cam Payne maintains the performance he had in Phoenix, I have no doubt he will be a great PG to replace Lillard when he needs rest.

Payne is still young and he was able to gain experience playing alongside CP3 on the Suns.
I'll be curious to see how Payne and especially the Bucks team as a whole will perform!

Jimmy Butler said that media day is his Halloween Cheesy. Dude is just having fun at that point and I am sure that he is going to go back to how he was during the season but he just wanted to have some fun.
With all the drama that is happening, I think the NBA fans needed that bit of fun and he surely made my day when I saw that hairstyle of him. I never expected that and his teammates were also enjoying their moment during the pictorial, I saw Bam laughing and I think Jimmy is okay with it or that's his purpose.  Cheesy

And also he said this in their media day:

Quote
“We're going to end up in the Finals and this time we'll win it.”

So that is a man with a mission, don't sleep on the Heat.
I like that, he is pouring with confidence.

"This is my emotional state." That's what he said during the interview.
I still cannot get over what he did with his hair and I cannot stop scrolling Twitter for more witty tweets and memes. Here, I found one.

Woj is reporting that while James Harden hasn’t been to training camp for the Philadelphia 76ers yet, they are expecting him to report tomorrow. Woj is usually right on so I’m expecting that to happen. It appears Harden has blinked first in his fued with his GM and might be in a Sixers uniform to start off the season after all.

Seen that too and expected him to return I mean what is he going to do really sit out for the year if they don't trade him.  Should be interesting how this all plays out.  Who knows maybe some behind the scenes conversation about showing up putting in the work to raise his trade value and he will get traded.  By sitting out you kind of take the leverage away from the team you are on.

Jimmy Butler said that media day is his Halloween Cheesy. Dude is just having fun at that point and I am sure that he is going to go back to how he was during the season but he just wanted to have some fun.

I am sure that he was upset that they couldn't get Dame, and they could have gotten him as well, all Blazers needed was some picks and someone like Herro, which would be fine when you are getting a star like Dame to be fair. In any case, the season is nearing and we are going to start seeing the new teams and have they are meshing together. Plenty of players changed teams and it will definitely be fun and dandy for the fans.

I think we should be considering it as something that would be a lot better if we knew who could win, Bucks to win the title seems the leading odds but I still think Nuggets are great.

Jimmy wants all the media attention and loved messing around the internet so he styled his hair that way. If I remember it correctly this is the 2nd time he's messing with a weird hairdos during media day. The first one was that long dread locks hair. That was like a Rastafarian hair style, now is a long straight hair and he said he's Emo lol.
I thought it's going to more funny if 2k will use that hairstyle in an actual game. I saw modders in Nba2k14 designed Jimmy's hair that way.
However, it wasn't just Jimmy's look which the most noticeable in media day, but also the Bucks new look with Dame in the roster. They literally look scary.
