Ginebra going to the Finals, crowd will again support and PBA will make a lot of money again.
That certainly is going to be the scenario at most times and that is why Ginebra is always full force to their roster and performance because they contribute a lot for PBA's revenue.
By the way, did you guys saw the news that an Australian team wants to get in and is in talks with the commissioners?

That was a quick rest for Ginebra, we will be back with a new conference and this time with new imports (well, some had already played before). Justin Brownless is still playing, so we know that Ginebra is still the team to beat here.

Past ginebra win gather hype so might as well they gather that hype on next conference, but if the league will continue their harvesting traits to other farm teams then maybe the same on earliest days of last season maybe they can still experience that few people will watch their live games. Maybe they need to learn from last season since this is really bad for them if they continue to wreck the league.

Yeah it's quick but we have to be thankful as once again we will enjoy watching the PBA.
No guest team anymore, so probably it will not gain too much crowd like they did during the Bay Area series.

That's the thing that should happen if the PBA wants to earn a lot, people love Ginebra, they want this team to be the PB champion always, so not having them in the Finals, it's going to be a boring PBA Finals.

The Governor's Cup will start on the 22nd of January. Just a few days after the Commissioner's Cup, here we are again with another season.
Here are the list of the imports of each team.
Quote
Ginebra - Justin Brownlee
BlackWater - Shawn Glover
Rain or Shine - Michael Qualls
Phoenix SuperLPG - De'Vaugn Maxwell
Meralco - KJ McDaniels
NLEX -Jonathon Simmons
Magnolia - Eric McCree
NorthPort - Marcus Weathers
SMB - Cameron Clark
TerraFirma - Jordan Williams
Converge - Ethan Rusbatch
TNT - Jalen Hudson

Some imports played already in the PBA, some are first timers and we have an import which is our "kababayan" already. We got some former NBA players as well and some played in their own countries. I will not make any prediction since no games had been played yet. Let's see how these imports will have an impact with their respective teams, and I just hope that more audiences will watch every game.

JMF playing on a foreign team might be a good exposure for his after he retires to PBA only if he is capable of playing and not tired yet about basketball. JMF already achieved a lot with his basketball careers and I know he is financially stable now and have a lot of businesses to support his retirement. Anyway, JMF can still paly and will play more years because of the contract and for him, he's still young and active. SMB though should need to look for a great support to JMF, they can be more of a good team if they have a good team plays.
Not just a good exposure but another continuation of a better career. He'll get more salary than his previous with the SMB. But it's not all about the glory and money but I'm sure his love for basketball will remain and if there will be offers outside the country to play for them or just be a consultant or what, it's an opportunity that he shouldn't waste.

Where do we see the ticket sales for this match? And is any of you going to watch any of these series? I think I'll invite my brother and pops on watching the 28 of Feb game since it's going to be Tuesday and it's not going to be that hectic at all unless my leave is granted.

I think ticket sales can be purchased online thru the famous ticket sale site, Ticketnet.

But for sure, tickets can also be purchased on the spot at the venue. The venue is the Philippine Arena in Bocaue, Bulacan.

Ticket price:

VVIP = Php 16,300
VIP = Php 9,800
Patron Gold = Php 2,500
Patron Silver = Php 1,700
Patron Bronze = Php 1,100
Lower Box Area = Php 300
General Admission = Php 100

Ticket Prices are not that bad and affordable.
Thank you, those patron seats are affordable and it's a good treat to have my father and brother there to watch a game or two.

Eventually in the future, JMF will no longer be much of a used to SMB but i hope the management will reward his loyalty with the team. When JMF was still in college, he never went to Manila to play for UAAP as he was already promised that he will be a Beerman so i just hope that he retire a Beerman in the future.
If he retires as a Beerman in the future, he'll surely be given a partnership by the company itself for which what was given to their former retirees. It's like a livelihood for them like poultry or livestock which the products will directly be taken by their companies like Magnolia or anything related to them. But, he still has the option to play for other leagues that will give him the opportunity. I'm waiting for his retirement and I'm sure that his love for basketball will remain so it will make him crave to play more. I want him to see play for B League, EASL or any other foreign league that has Filipinos.

SMB and Ginebra will not go into such agreement, SMB have to choose JMF over the other just to make this competition more healthy and to avoid any issues with regards to being a sister company. JMF at his age is still a good player, injuries are prone to every players maybe it affects JMF but eventually he will recover and be better again. There are a lot of rumors about the possible trade with the other team, let's just wait for their official announcement with regards to this.

I have not heard rumors even on social media that Junemar Fajardo will be traded and like i've said in my previous post that he still have 2 to 3 years of playing where he will dominate the middle and win more championships with SMB. If Ginebra is not winning championships then there is a possibility that JMF will be traded there to make that team stronger just like what they have done to Cstand.

On that note, the only thing we can do now is to wait if the management will let him retire wearing the same uniform, the GOAT of Philippine basketball for me, with most MVP's on his name and how he changes the way big man play. Smooth fadeaway, a classic trademark that I really adore when watching him play.

Loyalty vs potential future asset, things that we also need to consider about how SMB management thinks.

Only future can conclude if what's waiting for Abay, for now, let's enjoy him playing with the team.

I'm a big fan of SMB and regarding to JMF capabilities I'm pretty sure that he can compete if you still remember his last FIBA performances it so happen that coach chot is a big fan of dribble and drive system where speed is what he need, while with the good guidance of coach Tim, JMF will be used to add additional threat inside.

Maybe we do have different views if how JMF will perform in case he will be available this upcoming FIBA, as for me his outside jumper and inside presence can contribute a lot if coach chot will maximize him.
When the age increases and injured happen, doubt started to appear and a big question is that if JMF can still contribute to the team. The recent conference is not that good in most of his games but still you can see his eagerness to contribute to the team so I also believe that JMF is still a gem for SMB and they will not let him go. SMB is a champion in Philippine cup and JMF plays an important role during that conference.

Fajardo? As long as he is dominant, they will not trade him. Under the table? There is a high chance that it is happening, but we don't have any evidences and the only thing that we have is theories.
Exactly, Fajardo is 33 years old, and I think that is still young. Most of the players that are traded are not in the center position, Look at Hugnatan and Reavis, they are already 40 years old or over, but they are still playing with the team, and we all know that Fajardo is better then them.

He is also injury prone now but at least when he comes back he can still deliver the numbers he used to deliver. Fajardo will definitely stay, they won championships with him, SMB will not throw away their precious player. They can trade CJ and keep Fajardo as whoever gets JMF will surely be a very good team, what if Ginebra will get JMF? How can you beat that team?

A triple tower who all have the offensive capability and will be guided by Scottie and Tenyente or Pringles, I can say that Gin kings can compete and represent the country to an international league if they will acquire JMF. But, that chance is slim even these two teams are sister teams they have pride to compete and they are always doing it in every season PBA offer.

They are always there to compete and to prove that they deserve to win a title.

It's different in the international league because mostly the bigs know how to shoot from the outside, and so far Fajardo has no good range outside. Also, if we noticed in international games, Fajardo is not fully used, because their opponents love to run and they cannot match the speed if they keep Fajardo with heavy minutes.

Yes yes I agree with this one.
It seems like, the big players that we have in the PBA have a long career.

33 years old is considered prime years still, but near to his post-prime years already but nevertheless, I'm thinking that they will let Fajardo stay even though he is old already like what Magnolia did to Reavis and what Ginebra did to Devance. I'm just thinking that at least only this time, they will be loyal to Fajardo just because of how impactful he is with the team and add also the achievements that he got with SMB.

They can trade CJ and keep Fajardo as whoever gets JMF will surely be a very good team, what if Ginebra will get JMF? How can you beat that team?
They might trade CJ, but I'm thinking they might make a team around CJ and Fajardo. CJ is only 29 years old and he can contribute to SMB for a long time still.
Now with regards to Ginebra getting JMF, I'm not thinking that this will happen. I mean I don't see any reason why SMB will trade him to Ginebra.
