Northporth are still on the lead but I'm not seeing Ginebra will lose in this game. Ginebra loves to run in the 2nd half, so it's okay if Northport will lead the first half because it's 100% sure that Ginebra will come back and win the game.

It is now the fourth quarter and Ginebra snatched the lead from Northport. It is still a close game though. Ginebra has always proven that they can win on a Sunday, and they are very energetic entering the fourth quarter so I also do not have a doubt that they could win this game. They lead by 8 points, but they cannot go easy. They need to push hard until the last second.

We know Bolick can be very creative in creating points. Northport could still catch up and make a comeback.

Bolts ML @2.78 vs Magnolia

I would have picked the same if I was able to bet on this game. We are in the 3rd quarter already and the game is quite close, Meralco already leading by 1 point McDaniels does not have his usual numbers yet but as for the team play, Meralco is doing well, good luck mate.

All of the sudden it has become a blowout win by the Magnolia. There's no way Meralco will be able to comeback now that Magnolia already has 20 points lead. There's only one full quarter left, and Meralco is not SMB or Ginebra who can have a big come back to win. Anyway, it's not over yet but the chance of Meralco winning is very low now.

Yeah, I was surprised because of a big run by the Magnolia, that 3rd quarter was full domination, 47-23, what kind of defense Meralco had in that quarter, it looks like they have no chance to beat good teams despite having a good import, or Magnolia was just lucky in the 3rd quarter.

Congratulating the Magnolia backers, this is your night.  Grin

That third quarter run by the Hotshots made the difference that cost the game for the Bolts and now their chance of qualifying for the playoffs is in danger and they might be eliminated if ROS wins its last game.

No regrets on betting for the Bolts and if ever there is another game like that where they are the underdog, i will still go with them considering that McDaniels is still their import.

Ginebra vs NorthPort are playing at the moment wherein the latter leads by 6 points with 1 minute to go in the first quarter. I'm looking for a window to bet for the Kings on this one if the odds for them to win will be attractive.

The game between San Miguel and TNT is about to start. San Miguel needs the win as well for the same reason Phoenix has. They should get this win to avoid getting clamped together with other teams with 5 wins. I think  the -3.5 handicapped is doable by San Miguel. It is tempting @1.9 odds too. I think I will put some on it.
SMB won the match with a convincing lead as this is one of their game that needs to take the win.
TNT did a great job at first but eventually SMB dominates the last quarter and putting up a 20 points lead to end it. If you are able to place a bet probably you’ll get more profit with the result. The next game for SMB will be more crucial for them, they should continue this momentum.

That SMB Beermen win last night was expected as the lineup of TNT Katropa was depleted, i mean most of their starters were not playing so to those who bet on the pre-game for SMB should have won as i think that 20-point lead covered the spread.

This conference is very weird for me because most of the MVP teams are at the bottom of the standings and almost out of the eliminations with only Meralco Bolts having the chance to advance if they win all their remaining games.

Speaking of the Bolts, they have a game today against the number 2 team in the standings, the Magnolia Hotshots. Bolts are listed as the slight underdog for tonight's game but with McDaniels around their chance of winning this game is very high.

Phoenix won with a huge lead of 51 points while SMB won by 20 points so both team are so eager to take a win and have a chance to proceed in the next round. SMB vs TNT as expected was a great game, the intensity and passion is there, kudos to TNT for giving their all out here its just that they missed a lot of points. SMB is getting their rhythm back, hopefully they can still have it on their last matches.

We have two games today but the first game which will be this 4:30 PM is not that interesting to watch, so let's proceed to the last game which is the battle of Beermen vs TNT.
If you bet on Phoenix spread then you might find this game interesting because Phoenix is currently leading with 11 points.
I wouldn't be surprise if Phoenix will have a blowout win after this.

Seems like you are right, no chance for a comeback here because Phoenix already had a decent lead.
The score now is 62 - 25 with less than 2 minutes left in the 2nd quarter, look what kind of offense the DYIP has, that's very low for almost 2 quarters.

Dyip has no motivation to win this game. They are already eliminated together with blackwater. You can clearly see in the end score that this is a giveaway to Phoenix who needed the win to get out of the group that has 5 wins.

Wow, if you made that bet then you are enjoying now SMB wins with a huge lead, without Castro and Erram TNT unable to avoid losing with a SMB, though Fajardo didn't really take extra effort to make more points but the core players of SMB did, the damages are unmatched with only Williams and Poguy who are really trying to stay close but the early lead in the first half was established and nothing TNT can do to make a run and do the usual rally.

They can't do anything as SMB has lots of fire squad to answer back and counter every attempt that TNT will try to do.

NLEX won by 3 points and with that win, Ginebra's chance to get the twice to beat spot decreased. There are rumors that they will be targeting the 4th spot so they will face the Bay Area Dragons on the Semi-Finals.

I wonder why would they target the #1 seeded team for the semis? Isn't it better if they avoid that team until the finals. Yes, they beat the dragons in their match but that is just one game. It will be different when it is in a series.
Ginebra defeated them so they know what to do to defeat them again. Well, that's only my prediction and it's a rumor only that's being spread on Facebook. The only difference now is that, when the Dragons lost, they got Nicholson as their import but now, they have Powell already and nobody, I mean nobody can stop that scoring machine. I doubt that somebody from Ginebra can stop that monster from scoring 30+ points if they meet on the playoffs. Maybe the referees can. Ooops!! Tongue

Ginebra can still seal the twice-to-beat advantage:

- if they will win all of their remaining games (against Northport, Nov. 27 and Converge, Nov. 30)
- if Magnolia Hotshots will lose their last elimination games (against Meralco, Nov. 27 and Rain or Shine, Dec. 2)

With these remaining games, for me, Ginebra vs Converge will be the most interesting match here.
I'll make a prediction base on that 2 scenarios.
-Ginebra might win against NorthPort even though the Batang Pier is on a 3-game winning streak but against Converge, if Miller will play, they might have a difficult time beating them.
-Magnolia has a high chance that they will beat Rain or Shine. Meralco Vs. Magnolia is an interesting match-up as well because Meralco is on a winning streak right now with McDaniels as their current import.

With the 4 games that you shared; I'm also waiting for the Ginebra-Converge match-up because that game will be big for the 2 teams. It will be on the 30th and I'll watch that game for sure.

Based on ML odds, we have SMB 1.61 and TNT 2.32.
Nice odds, I guess SMB takers will not hesitate betting on that odds. At my bookie, I could get a max of 1.67 with a price boost.

It's still unpredictable even though SMB is the favorite because TNT is also a great team, they may have struggled in their past games but they can always comeback with a good win. By the way, TNT is on a 3 losing streak, I don't know but I have a feeling they will play harder to win.

Magnolia might lose against Meralco but I doubt they'll lose against ROS, so most likely Ginebra won't be able to get that twice to beat advantage. Well, Ginebra vs Converge, this should be a good one but I'll always believe that Ginebra will be able to handle it as they always bounce back.

TBH, even if Jordan Clarkson and Brownlee will play alongside each other on the FIBA'23, we will still be having a hard time winning games in that big tournament.

I definitely agree with that but at least our team will be more competitive, I'm not expecting they'll win most games but watching them give their opponent a hard time, would already make the fans happy. I now remember the old Gilas with TR47, they don't win most games but they are fun to watch.

Basketball program in other country is so advance while in Philippines they seems stuck with the old system so its nor surprising at all that they will lose on big games knowing that they are so underdog on that tournament. But at least the experience is so good and we can see our flag been raised battling on sports which is number 1 love by Filipinos so for sure even we know that they will lose on power house country still the excitement of fans still there because many are curious to know if they can defeat or make the life of Nba stars hard in the court.

I think that's not the case, what I believe the problem is our height because if you look at the international games, you can tell the height average of other nations are taller than ours, so with their physicality, we can never beat them.

It is the combination of a lot of things. We are not naturally equipped for basketball because of our height but we are slowly getting taller. We have a lot of natural Filipinos that have grown past 7 feet over the years. There is a lack of government support and programs that will train our athletes from grassroots to be competitive enough to be able to compete abroad. Our game style also needs improving and updating.

Looks like NLEX will have a chance of breaking their losing streak tonight, the game against the Ginebra now goes to OT and NLEX are leading by 3 points with 3 minutes left in the game, if they will handle the ball well and make some effective plays, they might upset the heavy favorite here.

I'm not watching the game now but it looks like they already won the game.

Based on the play-by-play record, the score is 120-117 in favor of the NLEX.
https://pba.ph/playbyplay

Brownlee had 39 points but Clark had a great game as well with 37 points, and Trollano contributed 26 points from the local.

I've been watching PBA for quite some time already and it's my first-time seeing MVP teams out of the playoffs. I mean I'm always watching playoffs where both SMC and MVP teams are playing, but now it's different. SMC are on the playoffs while the MVP teams are out. This conference really is different especially for those independent teams as some of them might enter the playoffs. Well, we still have a few games left and every win and lose are important for all of the teams who are still competing for the playoff spot.

With the Blackwater's loss against the ROS tonight, they are officially eliminated this conference along with TerraFirma.

SMC always has the better teams but this is far from over yet. We have Meralco which has a better conference now compared to the TNT, so they'll likely to be a threat to SMC teams. Well, of course, we have Bay Dragons who are at the number 1 spot, they are also a team to beat but since Ginebra had already beat them, then I think they could also be eliminated and will not reach the finals if they'll meet Ginebra in the Semi's.
