JMF was huge against Phoenix. The Kraken had a double-double with 37 points and 24 rebounds—stats better than an import. After winning another BPC, he showed that he can still deliver a monster performance. So it’s not really about age; as long as JMF is healthy, he will continue his dominance in the paint. I wouldn’t be surprised if he wins another BPC after this current season.
Anyway, we still have games today:
NLEX vs. Bossing @ 5 PM
TNT vs. Bolts @ 7:30 PM (rooting for the Bolts here)
JMF gained a lot of muscles and with that kind of a healthy game time it's not by far that he may continue winning another MVP, his dominance againstsmall players is really great, and what is good from his debut game he's taking that second chance point, not just relying with the pass from his teammates but he's watching where the ball will go and muscles his way to get the ball and put it back.
That could be, or maybe the team had really made a good adjustment by making JMF as their main go to guy.
Losing to Meralco was tough, they were having a good start and just can't even bring the series to game 7. So probably they realize that what they did was wrong, they need to go back to where they were most successful and that is utilizing JMF a lot.
Today's game might be another interesting one, though a sister company but with Durham I guess meralco may have some edge, let see if how they will play their system..
Turned out Meralco wasn't competing well, they loss to TNT by a huge margin, so it wasn't even an entertaining game to watch.
Loss my bet on this though, but I'll bounce back tomorrow.
