ROS doesn’t seem that strong, but why is Ginebra the underdog, could it be a trap bro?

Seriously? Not strong, Just look at the ranking. (https://pba.ph/standings) ROS is currently at the number 1 spot now in Pool B and yet you call them not strong. I respect your opinion though, probably your judgement is based on their past performances but they are a strong team now based on their ranking.

1. ROS  5-1
2. Ginebra 4-2
3. SMB 4-2

ROS is more aggressive and the way those young stars are playing they surely got the shot against Gin Kings, though as per coach Yeng, he will completely believes that his investment with those young stars are already fulfill and will believe that they are strong if they win twice against the never say die Gin kings, let see if how they will play the system and if this is just  a trap there's adjustments that may take place or better to watch out and play your money during the live game before taking your side.

I thought it was going to be a close game, but it wasn’t. Brownlee carried the team to a huge victory, and Holt was amazing, he didn’t score in the first half but hit six 3-pointers in the second half. He’s a great pick-up for the Kings. I thought he was only good for defense, but he proved me wrong.

ROS really fell short. It seemed like they were hyped up for being the number 1 team, but they’re still lacking compared to more experienced teams like Ginebra. I was also surprised by how high the score was, but luckily I bet on the over and managed to cash out.

Two more games, and I’ve got a feeling the first one’s going over. I’ve been tracking the line movement, took a screenshot last night.

Last night the total was 204.5, and now it’s 208.5. I’m betting the over on Meralco vs Pier.

Yeah, that's also what I expect as ROS really fighting so well during the las 3 quarters but in the final set JBL showcase why respect from coach Yeng really deserve him as import's goat, that kind of productions when the team needed a lift, he's always present and he's alway a go to guy when they need good offense, though local players do add good numbers to complete the domination in the last quarter beating ROS in adouble digit leads.

Great pick, it was definitely a high-scoring game with both teams putting up a total of 228 points. Nothing too exciting about that first game though since Northport played without an import. It was really hard to beat Meralco because their all-Filipino lineup is still strong, even though Durham only played around 6 minutes before the end of the 4th quarter.

Now, the second game was super exciting. I thought Converge was going to blow them out since the spread was pretty high at -16.5, but Terrafirma dominated the first half. In the 3rd quarter, Converge went on a big run, but Terrafirma fought back in the 4th to regain a solid lead. Then here’s what happened: another game-winner from Hopson. They didn’t even think about overtime because he hit a 4-point shot, and that sealed the game. Converge won by just 1 point in a low-scoring game, and Terrafirma missed another chance to win, still winless in this conference.

For the first game, SMB vs Phoenix, the spread is a bit high at -11.5 for SMB. Phoenix has shown they know how to win, but I still think SMB will win and cover the spread. For the second game, Ginebra vs ROS, the odds are even at 1.87 on the moneyline for both teams. I might be able to find a bookie with slightly better odds. Do you guys think Ginebra takes this one, or could it be a trap?

I'll go with Phoenix on the first game bro as SMB is not good on covering spread as observed in their last few games. Good thing for SMB is that they reactivated their previous import, Jordan Adams which is a high scoring import.

I might have forgotten, who replaced Adams last time? Seems like I didn’t notice, maybe that import wasn’t good.

By the way, not related to this game, Magnolia has a new import who used to play for SMB—Shabazz Muhammad. Looks like he’s still adjusting because he got into foul trouble last night, maybe that’s why DYIP wasn’t blown out.

On the second game, i would go for Ginebra. This is a 50-50 ball game but i'm more incline on betting to the more experienced wards of coach Tim Cone.

Good luck to us, bet moderately  Cool.

I don't know what's happening inside but a second before the game, TNT's spread increase to -5.5.

I hope this is not the works of mafia, because if it is, then for sure TNT are gonna win by dominating the Meralco here.

My doubt is right, haha. Turns out a lot of Meralco players didn't play, but they still managed to keep it close. They just couldn't finish strong at the end and ended up losing. Too bad about the loss last night, but maybe we can recover later if there are more betting opportunities.

Let’s look at today's games, as usual:

It looks like we’ve got some great matchups today!

In the first game, Meralco takes on TNT. This could have easily been the main event because it’s likely going to be a close one. The bookies have Meralco as a slight underdog with +2.5, and the total is set at 190.5. Given Meralco’s tendency to keep the score low and TNT’s shift away from heavy three-point shooting, the under seems like a solid choice here.

It’s a bit hard to predict the winner since both teams are strong, and their imports are also talented. I think I'll go with under 190.5 and hope that neither team reaches 90 points to stay on the safe side. There’s also a chance it could go into overtime, especially since it’s expected to be a close game.

As for the second game, it might end up being one-sided, but who knows? Magnolia faces DYIP, and the spread is at -16.5 for Magnolia. With DYIP yet to secure a win, there’s a chance for a 20+ point blowout. For the total, 205.5 looks like a good line for an under bet too, especially considering DYIP’s struggles.

The high spread is likely set to attract bettors for DYIP, but with a line like that, the right pick would be Magnolia -16.5, easy.
I might bet on that if I lose in the first game. I’m feeling nervous now because of the live movement; I hope my guess is wrong.

I just got back from outside, right on time. It’s already halftime. I managed to place a live bet earlier on under 218.5. The second quarter had a high score, but hopefully, it slows down in the second half so we can cash in tonight.

Unfortunately, it turned out to be a high-scoring game. The first quarter was low, but the 2nd through 4th quarters were high scoring. Both teams had great shooting performances, but in the end, SMB won, although they didn't cover the spread, winning by just 5 points. The final score was 119-114. SMB was quite unpredictable, only really picking up pace in the 4th quarter with a 22-33 scoring run. It’s a shame for NLEX, as it’s another loss for them.

Run out gas at the final quarter while SMB knowing how deep is their bench,  most of them who played got double digits score, glad to see TR7 getting some decent productions though it's still CJ who got the leading score but seeing them playing like this I guess they'll cooking something for their fans this season.

Congrats to all kabayan who wins their bets, while under is not good as for the handicapped for SMB, maybe those who bets during the live events managed to compensate with bookies offer during the 3rd quarter while they are still trying to catch up.

The PBA is really exciting right now, with games almost every day.

Here are the game schedules along with the betting spreads and totals:

5:00 PM: Northport vs Converge +3.5 and 216.5

7:00 PM: Road Warriors vs SMB -7.5 and 209.5

The totals are quite high today. I’m leaning towards the over for the first game and the under for the second game.
There was a huge movement in the total, and IIRC, it closed at 212.5. So far, based on how the game is going, it looks like it's going under. Maybe the only hope for it to go over would be if it goes into overtime.

Ends up under indeed, though for those who loves backing the underdog for sure that might be much better earnings though handciap still good and Converge manage to upset NP. Congrats to whoever takes that underdog or handicap bets good pick.
yeah, it ended under, and i waas thinking that Northport are gonna win because they have a strong caome back in the 3rd only to melt in the 4th.

Quiet interesting but let see how they will perform with their new import and how that line movement will affects those backers for SMB, will watch out for this and see how it works, best of luck mga Kabayan!

The Road Warriors are usually high-scoring but have been struggling recently, losing their last two games. Meanwhile, SMB is 3-2, and if they win, they’ll be tied with Ginebra in Pool B, though Rain or Shine remains the top team.
The total was 209.5, but now it's up to 211.5, and SMB is at -8.5. It seems like a tough call for me as well. But if I had to pick, I'd go with the -8.5. There must be a reason for the line movement, and it looks like SMB has a new import who’s a former NBA player.

Quiet interesting but let see how they will perform with their new import and how that line movement will affects those backers for SMB, will watch out for this and see how it works, best of luck mga Kabayan!

In the first game, Northport is 3-3 and needs a win. I’m not sure if they have an import yet. Converge is on a 3-game losing streak, so their situation looks terrible. I might go with Northport and consider live betting to see if they have an import.

Did anyone bet on the ROS vs Phoenix game?

ROS is coming off a disappointing loss against SMB, while Phoenix is still looking for their first win in this conference. So far, the game is close, so I think Phoenix has a chance here. The handicap was big at first, with an opening line of +10.5, but the last time I checked, it was down to +7.5. So, if anyone bet on the +10.5 line, they’re lucky. The moneyline might be a good option too, haha.

For those following the game, ROS is currently leading by 8 points, but it’s still early.

I did, but not the full game. Phoenix played well from the 1st to the 3rd quarter, but by the 4th quarter, they seemed to run out of energy, and the game got out of hand. The 4th quarter score was 22-35, and that high spread turned out to be a trap. Even with +10.5, it still lost since ROS won by 15 points. The final score was 122-107.
It’s really unlucky, haha.. I thought Phoenix was going to win, but it seems they had no chance. Looks like this conference will end with them still winless. It’s embarrassing for a team that performed well in the eliminations and semi-finals before, even giving Magnolia a good fight. I haven’t followed them closely, but could their problem be the import? It seems like their good ball movement disappeared. Why don’t they change their import, or have they already made a switch?

In the 2nd game, Ginebra vs Blackwater, it was a good match. Blackwater was on a winning streak, but they were caught off guard  in the first quarter by Ginebra’s strategy, with a 36-22 score. Blackwater lost, ending their win streak. I didn’t finish this game either, but I saw Thompson’s stats, and it looked like he almost had a triple-double. Many probably won in this game because Ginebra’s opening line was only -3.5.

I also thought it was a trap, but considering Ginebra really needed to win after losing two games, it made sense. Well, it seems Brownlee is still different. For me, he’s still the best import.

If you observe how ROS played the game, those gamblers who keeps backing them either they are favorite or underdog they provide decent amounts of profits, against SMB where handicap is +2.5, SMB only win by a single point and today's game bookies again gave +10.5 a tempting handicap but RoS again managed to cover that, so far so good for the elastopainter.

While in the 2nd game, handicap for most of Gin kings backers surely enjoyed how the team works covering the handicapped, congrats to all kabayans who managed to earn for today's games.
