If there's something that we need to learn from this one, it is "Always know how to control our emotions".
Here's the full video details for the incident: https://youtu.be/myo-pBoDows?si=pGp3Dtgl7k_lzKBI

Anyway, both him and his brother surrendered already to the authorities and didn't give any statement to the media. Many expected that him getting a contract with the PBA will change everything including his attitude, but he isn't. Now he's paying the consequences of his attitudes. I know many remember him as the student that acted like "Saitama" in a basketball match and just punched every player that's around him. Cheesy

Nevertheless, it's "Game Over" for him, and the case that's been given to him is "Frustrated Murder" which is considered non-bailable. Good Luck to him, and to his life.
In all the fights Amores has been involved in, they've all been basketball-related, and this one is the worst because he could be facing an attempted murder charge, which carries a 6 to 12-year prison sentence according to the law. It might even reach the maximum penalty since he fired at multiple people, risking the lives of innocent bystanders, and it's possible that he used an unlicensed firearm.

It’s over for him _ if it was just a fistfight, it might have been okay. But I also noticed how well-behaved he is in the PBA; I haven’t seen him involved in any brawls there. Going back to the situation, I feel sorry for his parents, especially since his sibling also end up in prison.

North Port's John Amores was once involved again but this time with a shooting incident.
---
---
To be honest, I was really against it when he was still given a chance to play in PBA, this guy really has a problem with his mind, something is wrong with him.
He shouldn't be able to get drafted in PBA anymore, because it seems his behavior and did during UAAP is tolerated and that's why he did recently and upgraded, now he uses a gun and it seems he really wants to kill someone.

For sure everyone still remembers the issue that he's got during his JRU days. This now, it's more brutal because it involves with a gun.  Undecided
I watched the CCTV and it was identified that was him as the shooter in Lumban, Laguna. So, the root was also another basketball game.
I don't if he can still manage to proceed and play professinally, this man have a mental issue after that college incident being drafted is a opportunity to change but instead he was dominated by his pride, not concluding the reason but for me that's the reason behind he thinks that he's better than those people who played against him and instead of shaking his head and move forward he did what he thinks is better and now he'll suffer as it's no longer a case that he can easily take care but a serious crime that he needs to face, a possible end of career for him after this incident.

I forgot to highlights that record breaking achievements for Lassiter I think it take time to break that one as like Steph he still active and can add more to his own records, as long as he can still play the game we never know how many more that he can add for this new record, and the good thing breaking that win is against the heavy crowd favorite team, though not a good one as the outcome is totally a blowout game, Like what I've said a massacre where there's nothing Ginebra can do to stop the bleeding, ends up winning for those SMB fans both ML and Handicap.

I haven’t seen a consistent three-point shooter like Lassiter in a long time. It's gonna take a while for anyone to catch up, considering we're talking about three-pointers made, not just a lucky four-point play. Lassiter is fortunate to be on such a strong team, giving him more games and chances to rack up those threes. His shooting stroke is something else - he’s a streaky shooter with a fast release, and his game revolves around the three-point line. That’s why he’s hit these crazy stats and now holds the crown as the GOAT of three-point shooting, though not necessarily the GOAT of the game overall.

Last night’s game was rough though. I was expecting a closer one, especially since they’re sister teams, but with so many missing pieces, Ginebra didn’t stand a chance. Japeth was their only real shot in the paint, and he couldn’t do it all by himself. Go got injured last game, and Malonzo is still out.

Lassiter is lucky that he had Fajardo in the middle to grab those rebounds in case he miss those 3s while Fajardo is also lucky that he had Lassiter waiting in the wings in case there is a double team on him down low, they just complement each others game hehe.

Meanwhile, we had two games today and the second game between TNT and Magnolia caught my attention with TNT as a slight favorite and i think they will take this one.

My Bet: TNT -3.5 @1.88 vs Magnolia

Absolutely, Lassiter's record-breaking three-point achievements are worth highlighting. He is an active and key player in the game that continues to contribute to his own records, and it does take a strong player to break a record against a favorite team. The fact that he is considered a consistent three-point shooter in the long term only adds to his acclaim. His strength in shooting threes, teamed with Fajardo's ability to grab rebounds gives an edge to their team dynamic.

As for, last night's game, it seems clear that the absence of key players in Ginebra impacted their performance. On Japeth being their only real shot in the paint, it obviously presents an uphill battle when one player can't do it all.

Conversely, the synergy between Lassiter and Fajardo serves their team well. Lassiter having Fajardo for rebounds when he misses those threes, and Fajardo having Lassiter for those three-point shots when he is

It’s kinda weird, right? The quarterfinals start tomorrow, and by now, there should already be betting odds available.I checked my bookie, but it’s still not up. Normally, they post the odds 24 hours before the game. Maybe the bookies are having a hard time setting the odds?  Smiley Smiley
During their regular conference, the odds used to come out early, but now it seems like they’re showing up a bit late. I think they were available earlier this morning, but what matters is that we have them now.

Let's get started later, mate. Hopefully, we can be profitable in the quarterfinals so we’ll have some capital for the upcoming NBA season.

Anyway, what are our picks for tomorrow?

TNT vs NLEX and Magnolia vs ROS…

Based on the current betting lines. here are emy early leans..

TNT -4.5 and under 197.5 ( the under is the safer pick for me)
ROS -2.5 and under 208.5.. I don't like Magnolia's import, they might struggle in this game against the great chemisty of ROS.

Total line closed at 193.5, this tells the game is likely going under.

Both handicap wins but both under went to a different way, high scoring games for both teams that knws how to play defense, tough call and so close to lose tha handicap good for you as both favorites manage to cover the handicap, now that all the teams will need to play harder it might be good to consider analysing the edge of each teams and see if how will you generate potential benefits, Both SMC and MVP teams another familiar faces to possibly reached the finals..

I rarely bet on the PBA and I still can't win. I bet on Ginebra last Sunday and the odds were only 1.5. I thought they would win, but they lost by just three points to NLEX. The odds were low, but it was still hard to win. I also rarely watch the PBA, so I didn’t realize NLEX was strong team this season. Their defense was solid, game score was low those who bet on the total under were lucky (For sure mga panalo).

Out of nowhere. Honestly, I think LA Tenorio should retire already since he's 40 years old. He should give others a chance to play in the PBA.
That's okay kabayan. It's part of every sports bet that we do including in the PBA. It's really hard to win and yet, there are still fans that say that the game or the league is rigged. While us, we're having hard time winning on each bet that we do for this known basketball league in our country.  Cheesy

I will go to Magnolia and Rain Or Shine for today's game.

Tough luck, mate! These games are all over the place now, and predicting them feels like a coin toss. First game, I thought it was an over - turns out it was under! At least I won a bit on the second game with an over bet. The total was 228.5, looked high at first, but it got smashed easily with a total of 257.

And Blackwater pulled off a win! Their import was on fire, dropping 64 points with some 4-point shots too! Word is they’ll keep King for the next conference. Oh, and by the way, Blackwater's officially out after NLEX’s win last night. No schedule yet for the QF, but I’m already hyped!
This is a disaster, either of the top teams Magnolia or Rain Or Shine didn't even win? This is very questionable for me right now, it seems something is happening inside of the PBA.
I think I will take a rest first, I will come back betting on PBA once we are already near the playoffs or during playoffs so it will be more serious.

Yeah in gamblers perpecstive it seems that something rigging the game hopefully no and it's just because other teams are now playing decently and heavy favorites is really beatable, but we really never if how things is working inside so I guess I'll go with you, will try to spare some money to bet during playoffs or maybe much better during the semis up to the finals maybe that's might be more serious as the team will really try harder winning the game and the possible title.

Ginebra could have secured the twice-to-beat advantage if they hadn't lost their last game. It’s unfortunate they fell to NLEX, and now they have to beat Meralco, which is already a healthy team in my opinion. Meanwhile, Ginebra is struggling with their interior defense. Last time, Japeth lost a tooth and had to sit out for a few minutes, which allowed NLEX to take advantage of their weakened defense, plus Brownlee had cramps. Their situation is tough, and it seems like Ginebra might get eliminated. I’m not betting on them this time, but maybe I’ll go for the under, as Ginebra will likely play hard defense with every game being do-or-die for them.

Here’s the schedule for the quarterfinals... are you ready?

It’s happening tomorrow!

I know a lot of you might be confused by what you see in the picture since it's just the QF, but it looks like Meralco and TNT have two games.

Let's just read the rules or format written here.

To get into the groove, kabayan, you should regularly watch or place bets. This will help you become familiar with which teams are stronger. If betting isn’t your thing, simply observing the odds released by bookies can give you a good idea of who has a higher chance of winning.

Out of nowhere. Honestly, I think LA Tenorio should retire already since he's 40 years old. He should give others a chance to play in the PBA.

Maybe this is his last season, as Ginebra has already found a replacement for him in RJ Abbarientos.

You're right, there's nothing wrong with their opinion but it has became a hot topic lately in the social media. They're all have their own unique greatness with their PBA careers.

Yu said it right, they all have their own eras and they provide everything for the fans, it so happened that when it came to JMF he really dominated the game and with all those achievements no one can questions whatever awards he earned.
JMF was in the era where he really is dominating the league. I don't know how long he's going to stay but he's earned his reputation and awards throughout his entire career. Let's just enjoy him while he's still in the league because once he's retired, we don't know who's next.

I agree, he's really a humble guy. You can see it on his gestures and he loves his mom so much. He also play streams with games so, you just can't unlove this man and it's completely different in the past and the present. Anyway, it was just a discussion.

Again, agree to that just like someone else, he's enjoying whatever it is and seeing him with those funny clips he's just treating himself as an ordinary player who played the game.
That's right, he's just all natural.

It's been a while since I was on this thread. I have just noticed the thoughts of PBA motoclub about Junemar Fajardo and other legends talked about it as well that he won't get that much MVP if he's back on time where the legends like Ali Peek, Seagles, Taulava, Fernandez and other known players played on their primes. I know that this is just for a discussion and they're like comparing Jordan to Lebron but, what do you think about it folks?

With that argument, it's just an opinion base and there's no correct or wrong they just voice it up and the value is none as JMF really dominates the game andife ever that there's value regarding to what JJ said it more on opinion and it wont affect anything at all, JMF is the goat and the award he recieves are all deserves awards.

It's on different perspectives and how you see the game before and the game now if that statement is valid.

We are all entitled to our own opinions, and I respect theirs on this matter. Personally, I’m a big fan of Fajardo. Despite all his achievements, he remains humble, which I greatly admire. I might be biased, but I believe Fajardo would still secure those 8 MVPs even if he played in the era of Ali Peek, Siegle, Menk, and Taulava. His footwork in the middle is exceptional, making him a tough opponent for even the likes of Peek and Taulava.
