It would be better if he didn't play for any SMB team. Maybe he could join a legit team like Meralco or TNT; that way, there's a chance he could win a championship where he could give valuable contribution. With the way he's playing, you can already see he has the talent and maturity, but with his current team, it's unlikely he'll win a championship.

Another option could be playing overseas. If he can maintain his great performance, there's a good chance he'll get the opportunity to sign with an overseas team and earn a better salary than most PBA players.

Height and skills it's best if he can join MVP line of group for me, his skillsets can be maximize by coach Chot same with Oftana he got that good shooting skills and similar with RDO a legit scorer who also got that capability to play defense, he just need to keep improving and keep gaining that confidence, makng him more realiable for whichever team that might grab him for a trade.

Or, just the same with what you mentioned, if opportunity overseas knocks on him that's a good option for him more money and exposure to showcase his talents.

Yes, Oftana is a great player with strong outside shooting, solid defense, and good rebounding. But compared to Tolentino, I think Tolentino is better. He has a high basketball IQ and is improving quickly. It's different for Tolentino now since he's the best player on his team, unlike Oftana, who is part of TNT where there are many players just as good as him. Their minutes are managed well, while Tolentino plays a lot of minutes, like a real superstar.

I guess Tolentino and Oftana couldn’t play together since they have similar roles. If we're talking about the MVP team, maybe Oftana would fit better with the Meralco Bolts.

I agree and just like what I've said they have similarities though if ever that MVP might be interested with Tolentino maybe they can do what you said, send Oftana to Meralco then acquire tolentino and give their role players plus a future pick which most of the time is the scenario if MVP or SMC demands for a trade hahaha..

Did anyone bet on the ROS vs Phoenix game?

ROS is coming off a disappointing loss against SMB, while Phoenix is still looking for their first win in this conference. So far, the game is close, so I think Phoenix has a chance here. The handicap was big at first, with an opening line of +10.5, but the last time I checked, it was down to +7.5. So, if anyone bet on the +10.5 line, they’re lucky. The moneyline might be a good option too, haha.

For those following the game, ROS is currently leading by 8 points, but it’s still early.

But the final outcome didn't favor whoever bets and back up Phoenix, ROS is too good in the 2nd half especially in the last quarter their dominance really show up, and outscored Phoneix in a double digit productions. Better luck in finding another quality game tomorrow.

Not sure but with how DYIP is performing might be much better to take the risk siding for NP, chance is much better just observe and possible to place during the live games for a much better odds that bookies will offer.

There’s no improvement for DYIP; they still tanked and lost again by double digits. What’s remarkable in this game is that Arvin Tolentino once again impressed the fans. He seems like the Luka Doncic of the PBA, as he just tallied a triple-double in this game. I wonder how Ginebra feels now, as they weren’t able to unleash his potential, but he’s now playing at an MVP level with Northport.

Just a victim of Al F Chua's plan hahaha, I mean he got his minutes for coach tim but when they needed to grab stars he's part of that trade and knowing the team even how good his performance it's still difficult to win a title, solo performances I agree that he's making his name on top, a good finisher and he's still young possible that if he continue playing like this, he might be traded to Magnolia or SMB not sure if what Al F Chua will do to move him from NP to another SMC franchise.

It would be better if he didn't play for any SMB team. They already dump him, so there's no reason to go back. And since SMB teams mostly win the championship, it would be smarter for him to join an MVP team. Although the PBA promotes fairness across all teams (as they claimed), I still don't believe that teams like Northport will win a championship. His best chance is to join one of the bigger teams. Recently, he scored over 50 points, and now he tallied a triple-double. This kid is really special.

Another option could be playing overseas. If he can maintain his great performance, there's a good chance he'll get the opportunity to sign with an overseas team and earn a better salary than most PBA players.
Nowadays, it's already part of the future plan for PBA players to consider playing overseas, as their salaries are not competitive compared to other established leagues in Asia. Playing in Japan or Korea will secure them better contracts, and not only that, they will also develop their basketball skills further since those leagues are more advanced than ours.

We have a game today at 6 PM.

Bolts vs Magnolia, this is a very interesting matchup between the number 2 and number 3 teams in Pool A. As for the betting odds, Bolts are slight underdogs with a +2.5 handicap, but their moneyline is 2.44. Despite being a champion caliber team, it seems the team still doesn’t get the respect they deserve. I think they should be the favorites here, given they have a strong local lineup and a good import.

For the total, it's 194.5, I think this will go way under.

Looks like this is going to be a winner. The first half has ended with Meralco leading by 9 points, and the total score is only 69, which means it's a low-scoring game. That under 194.5 is already a win, even if this game goes into overtime. However, it's too early to make a conclusion about Meralco winning, as we know how strong Magnolia is. They could still come back and win the game. Anyway, since it's looking good, good luck to you!

Thanks, that was a good win by Meralco. They were lucky that Magnolia had no import. You are right, it was never a sure win despite the double-digit lead by Meralco because Magnolia made a big run in the 4th but just fell short. It was a very low-scoring game, and Meralco controlled the game from the 1st to the 3rd quarter. See you tomorrow for another bet, we have two games:

1st game: Northport vs DYIP
2nd game: TNT vs Converge (the telcos)

Congrats for your win, not really a fan of over and under and knowing both Meralco and Magnolia both teams are capable to outrun their opponents, but the game really got a low scoring ball game the half time gives the hints that the game might end with under since both teams are not doing well in terms of offense, and eventually it did gives you that win.

Not sure but with how DYIP is performing might be much better to take the risk siding for NP, chance is much better just observe and possible to place during the live games for a much better odds that bookies will offer.

Look at his kid, can't accept the 150k salary while the other rookies are receiving maximum salary. We can see the huge gap there when his kid was able to play overseas league with obviously a better pay. Well, the league is no doubt circulating with these two giant companies and when RSA said that people will get mad at them if they'll stop their operations there, he's just being for real. 1 billion pesos per year is really such an amount to maintain these all of teams coming from SMC alone.

Yes I agree to that the amount of his son's salary outside PBA is by far but Danny I knows the drill he just don't want to allow his son playing for the farm team, which is really triggering as he completely mentioned it with his social media reply, that's something which confirm the participation of those teams that being used as farm team.
Yeah, that made a controversial but Danny I later on went straight to the PBA office, I think it was the commissioner's as he's been called there and talks were done and they're all good again about that. These farm teams I think will never be gone, they're there to fruition of the big teams as the amount of money there is quite big and the trades that will happen always done deal for them.

It won't change anything, the situation inside this league is been dominated by boss Ramon and Manny V., those farm teams are extensions of their rights aside from their own franchise they also have controlled behind those additional farm teams, if only PBA management can sell those franchise to new competitive billionaires chances that it brings new competition and additional interest to new  sets of fans, but unfortunately,  there's no such plans or actions the management is well-feeded by both SMC and MVP.

I was hoping Lanete would miss at least one shot so the game would go to overtime, but he’s clutch. He doesn’t even seem to feel the pressure, especially as a rookie. I think he’ll become a superstar for the team, as Coach Yeng has a lot of confidence in him. Way to go for ROS! I’m sure they’ll be competitive this season, and with their current lineup, I think they have a shot at winning a championship.

Just imagine if they win—they’re still undefeated right now and have already beaten both SMB and Ginebra.

I hoping too that the game would go to overtime as SMB will have a chance to cover the spread but it didn't happen.

Yeah, i agree that Felix Lemetti has a bright future ahead of him because of what he has shown in that game, knocking those 3's then sank those 4 free throws that give them the lead, took a lot of guts and confidence to do that things. My fearless forecast is that ROS will be in the quarterfinals and might advance to the semis with their current roster.

I read some comments on Facebook saying that Lemetti is really an extraordinary player, as he was an NCAA MVP in the country where he’s playing. That’s why it’s not surprising that he’s performing like a pro—he’s got the skills and training. This rookie is going to help make ROS a championship contender again. Even Coach Yeng was happy despite the loss, so you can tell he’s satisfied with the current roster and believes they will be a championship contender.

You can see it in the way he plays and the confidence Coach Yeng has in him. What I like about him is how focused he is; he doesn’t celebrate much, even after making tough shots, which shows the qualities of a true star player. I’m actually betting on ROS to upset the heavy favorites if they make it to the elimination round, as I’m sure they’ll be underrated.

Anyway, moving on to today’s action:

Bossing vs. NLEX at 5:00 PM
Ginebra vs. Phoenix at 7:30 PM

Let’s discuss the first game. Bossing is on a two-game winning streak, while NLEX lost their previous game. I think it’s about time for Bossing to start losing again.

NLEX is just -1.5 now, and I think I’m going to grab it.

update loss this bet as NLEX continues to tank.

It closed at -4.5 a minute before the game, and they still retained their import Adams, so there's no issue with chemistry for SMB. However, they should recognize the urgency of winning and covering the spread as well, so bettors will be happy. SMB is currently leading by 10 points with less than 2 minutes left in the 3rd quarter. They need to maintain that lead to prevent ROS from making a comeback in the 4th. So far, this looks like SMB's game, and it seems they'll end their losing streak. As for the total, it does look like it'll hit the over. Good luck!

Unfortunately, SMB only won by 1 point, so it ruined even the -2.5 spread. JMF made the game-winner with 3 seconds left on the clock, but if he hadn't, that rookie Lanete from ROS would have been the best player. The kid was clutch, sinking all 4 of his free throws during ROS's last shot attempt. It was an exciting game; I thought SMB would cover the spread easily, but when JMF sat down, things shifted, and ROS regained their confidence.

I'm in the impression that SMB blow it out but they almost lost the game, just like what you mentioned if that shot from JMF, they've been upset by ROS, those young guns really a great deal this season, they are all got that winning mentality good thing that SMB win and prevent that 3 game losing streaks.

With such pressure from the crowd I agree how tough this young star will turn to, just so lucky that JMF made that last shot since it's been a contest but that lucky bounce back gives them the win, I see your point as they are now on the top spot from the bracket though they lose the game that confidence will continue to developed, and I'm sure coach Yeng will be happy seeing his squad being more competitive with those rookies and young stars that steeping up to aid the team.

Looking forward to see them competing in the playoffs, maybe semis or more that's interesting let's see if how this new bracketing will help each squad who are performing well.

It's hard to get more teams in the PBA. But if they're up really for competition, they should have done that long time ago. They've got fewer teams and good teams have already left the league because they're tired of the politics and the trade farming. SMC and MVP are getting good trades. They're just picking the best players from those farm teams, they hate to admit it but Danny I have spoken about it.

And after he spoke about it he got penalize that's how funny this league was, but there's nothing that can be done here just like what you said if PBA is interested with new teams they already done that long time ago, but they are all satisfied with the benefits that they are getting from SMC and MVP, the managements are not been shaken to whatever is happening inside the league they are well-feed by boss Ramon and Boss MVP.. hehehe..

Just an update regarding the spread, if you check, it's only -2.5 now at 1.91, which gives more value to SMB backers. Additionally, I'm considering betting over 214.5.
