Wow an expected jampack araneta with that ticket price, I'm pretty sure the teams that will compete during the opening are capable to bring more fans by sponsoring the tickets, a good way to promote PBA and bering that huge crowds again, though it's just for the opening but the impact might bring decent entertainment for those fans who are near to the location.
Or, even those people who will going to drop by they can watch if the ticket still available and have some enjoyment watching the game live.
Desperate move but a smart one. The ticket prices clearly indicate that they aren't attracting the expected number of audiences anymore. With this pricing strategy, it will be easier for them to fill the arena. Even if this is just a promo, it's a good start for a struggling PBA league. I'm looking forward to the season opening this Sunday, perfect for some family time while watching the game.
Better late than never. I think that was the cheapest ticket at the venue, so that's definitely going to attract the attention of the fans. We should see a good turnout during the opening this Sunday. I'm also thinking of placing a bet, and I'll make sure to put down a decent amount during the opening game. I've been on a betting break for a while, and I kind of miss the thrill, even if it means losing money, LOL.
