I see, but let's find out this Sunday if he can really help the team to win. He is not the star player for sure as he is just a rookie, but as a far, we know if he would be able to contribute well or not.

Hey, let's give time for the kid. Regardless if he can help his team to win on Sunday or not, it should not be expected. Like you said he is just a rookie after all. Sometimes the potential of a player is only shown after several conferences. If he will have a great night on Sunday, then good.

Time flies so fast. The PBA All-Filipino Cup Conference will now begin tomorrow.

Before the tip-off, there will be the previous Season's individual awards winners first.

I almost missed that, good thing we have some posters here that are updating us with the start of the PBA.
By the way, betting odds tomorrow are already available in my book. you can check yours for more details.

Here are the odds

Coverge vs ROS (-3.5)
Hotspots vs TNT ( +1.5)

So what Ravena is trying to do here?

Is he playing safe but in the end will put NLEX hanging when he got his contract renewed?
I don't like that, he was thinking that he is a valuable piece of superstar and that the team would go after him, maybe as a sign of respect, he must make his decision final before reaching out the NLEX.

As far as my knowledge about that is concerned, Kiefer Ravena can manage to play at the "whole" PBA All-Filipino Cup Conference that's why even though there's a new contract offered to him in Japan B-league, he can still help NLEX this upcoming conference on their rally. NLEX has no choice though as they are not even active in the trading market if there's a possibility to totally trade Ravena. Even Coach Yeng is interested in keeping him for the team.

We can call it disrespectful if, in the middle of the conference, he left out for the team just to accept the new offer to play in Japan.

Yeah, sounds special, and seems K. Ravena is overrated to me but that's what the agreement they have signed up.

That would be good if K. Ravena could finish the whole All-Filipino conference, at least he can help the team on their campaign for the whole conference and won't leave in the middle of the conference.

For me, this kind of agreement is okay, win-win situation for both NLEX and Keifer as we all knew that after Ravena is done in Japan, his experience is an asset that he can use in NLEX while the latter has the rights of the cager until his contract is finished with them.

I may be a bit late on this but Kiefer Ravena is confirmed won't be playing for the NLEX this All-Filipino Cup Conference.

When the final team's roster was released in Public a few days ago, Kiefer Ravena's name wasn't on the lineup for the NLEX Road Warriors.

We can now conclude that Kiefer will play at the Japan B-League with the new and fresh contract.

I don't know much about Shaun Ildefonso, but thanks for sharing the schedule, I forgot that they will be opening this Sunday, maybe because I'm focused on the NBA Finals. Anyway, let's start betting on them, I will bet on converge, let's see if they will get their first win in the game opener.

This guy loves to drive, he has a big body that could move his defender. You can search some of his highlights in youtube.

Here's one ;   Shaun Ildefonso leads Bulldogs to W | UAAP Season 84 Men's Basketball
This guy is only  6-foot-2 but his aggressiveness will certainly bring more energy to the team.

more about him : https://tiebreakertimes.com.ph/tbt/shaun-ildefonso-submits-pba-draft-application/239152

When looking at him, I remember how Jeron Teng play though the shooting capabilities of Teng is different from Shaun but like you said Shawn loves to attack and have that strength to move his defender, though PBA is a different playground the defense is tougher than the college league. He will be tested on Sunday if how he will adjust and adopt this new place.

He is still young and if luck permits him, having a longer time playing will allow him to be more familiar and who knows what he can

be added to ROS and how coach Gavina will rotate him with the veterans.

What can you say about Shaun Ildefonso?

Can he be as good as his father, or even better?

Coverge will have their first game in the PBA this Sunday, I'm excited to see what this team can do in the PBA.

Everything will be witness after his first game in this league. He's new and we don't know his capabilities,

if how impacting he is once he plays together with his team, comparing him to his father who's bigger, I personally say that

it will be a big challenge for him in creating his own resume. Danny I is one of the finest player who played in this league

the challenges from his two rising sons are really big, but let them grow and bring what they've got..

We have a new Ildefonso now in the PBA, his father was a great player, hopefully, he will not be pressured and he will make his own name. PBA is very physical, so he can use his big body to match the physicality given to him, with a new team, it's nice if he can build his new under this franchise.
Shaun ildefonso new player in PBA but a son of a legendary player in Philippine basketball association. All I can say after watching his highlights for this young guy will make his own  name in this league like his father did before. These guy is very athletic and 6 foot 2 is okay he can use his muscle to guard his opponent and more aggressive in terms of defend. And for sure he is very useful for the team.

I see, but let's find out this Sunday if he can really help the team to win. It's official I think.

Mark Caguioa has retired from the PBA, says Tim Cone

Mark the spark has retired from PBA.
That's a hell of a ride, he was with the team for many seasons and now he decided to retire.
He is a very accomplished man, there's nothing to prove anymore, so hopefully, he will enjoy his retirement.
Mark the spark caguioa made a good decision because he is already a legend in the world of basketball even though not so much champion trophy and MVP awards but still he is one of the best players in the PBA, playing for many years do a lot of things I think it's enough for his career in this league. There are many new star players in the Barangay Ginebra San Miguel and I don't doubt that they will struggle this upcoming season .
I have not seen him play also, so maybe the announcement just came late. Last season when they became the champion, I did not see Mark Caguaio play, he was supposed to be given some minutes, especially during the garbage time or if coach Cone is making an experiment for a come back attempt when they are down big time.

He is still on the roster but he didn't play the whole season. The retirement is now official both him and DeVance

I guess already out of the lineup; they gave the spot to those young players who also wanted to showcase their talents.

Good enough for Caguioa's career, he doesn't need any awards his resumes fully completed as a player and a star, time

now to enjoy his life away from playing and focus on whatever things he plans with his life.

NLEX is good but based on my personal opinion, they are not a championship contender team yet. Coach yeng might not win another championship, so maybe NLEX should consider changing coach, maybe they'll improve that way. Coach Alas was even fired when Fuelmasters was a better team than the NLEX.

He's been in this business for so long why not give that space to a aspiring newcomer who can bring the team to the next level, his system is no longer effective unlike when he still handling Rain or Shine / RedBull those golden era of his career with a complete set of offensive and defensive players. Those days are long been forgotten and being the head coach of NLEX for so long, maybe MVP management needs to assess if he can still win a title or he needs to retire and give others opportunities to guide this team.

The decision is still on the management and we don't hear any rumors about the replacement, just like how MVP ignoring the bashers of coach Chot Reyes, as long as they are satisfied and trust the staff there're no changes that will happen.

Ravena is really overrated, he has the talent but he is not the type of player that could carry the team in the Finals. NLEX is still not a championship team even with Ravena playing, that's the reality, so maybe they'll improve a bit but they'll never be in the Finals.
You might see them getting into the finals once the players of top teams already retired, as you can see some of them are getting older already and of course they are not that good anymore. NLEX is also a good team, they almost got a good spot last governors cup and since this is also an MVP team, most probably they have a good budget to acquire more good players and by this, they can have that finals appearance so never say never.  Smiley
Some great players will retire soon but the team will not allow their team will be trash once their star players will retire. Just like the SMB, they acquired CJ Perez and traded some old players already because they want to build the young players to lead the team in the future. A great team for me is not because there are old or young players on it, it's the entire team's capability to win, and they work like a team not by relying on a single player alone to carry the team behind his back.

The very reason why it's a 5 man team, it's not just a single player who can dominate, even Fajardo on his primes needs the powerhouse teammates, he's been surrounded by great players, Santos, Cabagnot, Lassiter and Ross all are star calibers and not just relying to Fajardos shoulders. In terms of old and youngsters, it's still depends on how the management will balance the entire squad plus the influence of the coaching staff to develop the chemistries and brotherhood inside the team.

Maybe NLEX is still not that championship caliber, but the fact that it's a MVP group, we will never know what will be the future of this team.
Yes you are right that mate and there's no One man player in Philippine Basketball Association that carry his team alone in whole conference a super star players need a good team as well and that's what happen to SMB fajardo has good teammates as you mentioned above and in the Nle road warriors team right now I think they have a chance to win every single fight if they have a good teamwork and a good plan from their coaching staff.

NLEX can only have a shot in the PBA Finals or have a good standing in the Conference during the Governors Cup and Commissioners Cup with the help of their import. Even if Kiefer Ravena will play in the All-Filipino Conference, NLEX is not even considered a threat. Coach Yeng Guiao's Red Bull Barako's Mindset was now also faded and I started noticing it first in the PBA Bubble. Before he can turn a common player into something talented but now it's gone.

NLEX is not a good team in the All-Filipino. MVP teams also always just prioritize their top team and that's Katropa.
