Thrilling indeed, lucky for me i got the -3.5 Bolts on the pre-live betting. That missed free throw by Quinto brought misery to those who took the opening spread of -4.5 for the Bolts. Hope that this win by the wards of coach Black would boost their morale and win more games for them to secure a spot in the quarters.

Hope so because it's very uncharacteristic for the Meralco to miss the qualifying games.
Such a great game, it was indeed a defensive match up, I can't remember the total but I think they hit the under.

On to the second game, after trailing by 12 points, the Dyip is now on the driver's seat with a slim lead going in the the third canto. Another thrilling game to those who bet with the spread of 14.5 huh.

Very sweet if they will win, the odds was like x9 ML for DYIP and x50 for them to win 11+ points.

It's expected that they will find a way to shoot the last basket despite the fact that they have no chance on winning again due to the points quotient.

Good start but the long losing streak make them lose their opportunity, better luck next season or next conference, but they are still better compared to DYIP, Converge and other teams that are not so competitive.

Well, if only they will not made some useless trades in the past then they must've created a good team that can compete with other teams right now but.. it is what it is.
The streak continues especially that they are facing the top team Ginebra San Miguel and they will get a playoff spot with their win.

Exactly, this is going to be an easy win by Ginebra, I wouldn't be suprise if they lose by 20 points or more because DYIP now is a very bad team, you are just wasting your money if you will bet on them.

Bolts Vs. ROS. Both are struggling teams right now but ROS is at the bottom with only 1 win compare to Bolts' 3 so maybe I will go with Meralco with this one.

It's 50/50 for me, however, I trust the Bolts here more than the ROS becacuse they have lots of shooters and their defense are more precise.

SEA Games and FIBA ASIA I think, at leas we are a bit competitive in FIBA ASIA, IIRC, Gilas won a gold medal before.

Bolts vs ROS, both teams are struggling, they badly want to win so I think it's hard to predict the winner but I'm sure the game will be very defensive so the call here is under.

about DYIP, I guess they are not a good team to back this season, so I'm going against them.

Based on the experienced, the chance of winning is better with PBA players, that Alapag lead and Castro lead Gilas both create impact and our country being noticed way back when Terrence Romeo creates his name, remember?

But the sense of being sincere with the duty, that's a good argument as PBA players are more into their careers. I fully agree with you.

Don't get me wrong and I agree with you in terms of developing young players, if only coach chot let coach Tab to continue
guiding the original gilas. Those young players are already ripe competing international, we see them competes and the
way they are being developed is what we need, look most of them are now part outside leagues who paid them higher than
PBA stars.

Maybe the SBP inform ahead but these players have the league that they are participating which sometimes has some conflict of schedule during training. I think the SBP should train players that are main job is to compete on international leagues so they will be able to build a good chemistry, not like now that players in the past may not be able to play in the present due to some whatever constraints.

I like the Gilas that coach Tab has built. These are younger breeds that we really need and they're more exciting to watch because they're having better enjoyment and they're easier to coach per se.

Chot seems stuck with the old system and still maximizing it, this is why he is easy to read by more experience national team and we see the huge upset happen between Indonesia where Gilas supposed to be more stronger than them. For sure we can see more better Gilas this time as Coach Baldwin is using his quality pieces very well.
