JuneMar Fajardo is on the purpose of helping a charity the whole 47th Season (All-Filipino, Governors, Commissioners).

He will donate Php200 for each point he will get and Php1,000 for every 3-pointers. That was the request of his beloved mother who passed away last year and the charity drive is now taking action. Aside from that, if SMB will reach the Finals, Fajardo will also add Php100,000.

Maybe that's one of the reasons why he is showing some aggressiveness and slowly regaining his former self, helping his team while at the same time, helping other people. A good initiative by the future PBA HOF or possibly the GOAT.

That's something stars should start establishing, I know there are many players who already doing this same thing but not open to broadcast the good deeds that they are doing, but since it's Fajardo's late mom's request the sole purpose will still remain the same, helping while you are in the right position in doing it.

Hope he will continue being inspired and he will be playing away from any major injuries, SMB's chance with Fajardo's playing like this would be higher. He might personally lead the spirit of the entire team and influence them to play harder.

Good for him, a big man with a soft heart, I like that kind of attitude in him that's why I admire his personality, not only his good talent in basketball. He still has plenty of seasons to play, besides, big man like him are hard to find in the PBA, so as long as he remains healthy, he will always have the opportunity to play.

Is anyone following Snow Badua on facebook? That's where I'm getting some information about updates in the league and as well as the other basketball leagues where other pinoys are being taken and playing. He said that there's a team that's likely to hire a European coach, I don't know if this is particular with PBA but it seems like that. I guess if this happens and for real, this is going to step up the coaching style in the league and will also improve the players that coach will work for.

Definitely, having a European coach in the league will be a big boost as far as playing style is concern. For sure the coach will infuse European style of play, it might not be that physical, but probably more dribble penetrating and more outside shooting. And then they are more on the fundamentals, specially playing defense.

I remember one youtuber asking the question, if Gilas Pilipinas should adopt European style of play? Soon we will find out if we can play those kind of basketball specially outside competition.
I'm sure that even the discpline, it's going to be a big help not just for the team where that possible EU coach will come but also to the players that he's going to coach. Just remember CTB, the players that he had coached, they're always every league and offers are flying to them, there's from South Korea, Japan, Taiwan and other nearby countries. Just imagine how this European coach will bring impact to all of the players and who knows, if Euro basketball league will have an offer to our fellow basketball countrymen. It is exciting and hopefully there won't be political biases that shall stop it and be an obstacle of it.

So it looks like we are having a great season now.

As per the latest standing, Northport is quite surprising because they are tied with SMB on the number 1 spot.
https://pba.ph/standings

I'm happy that SMB is having a great start, Fajardo seemed to be slowly getting back to 100% and they are a tough team to beat in the All Filipino cup.
To be honest, I still missed Cabagnot and Santos contributions to the team, they make the team better especially in clutch times.

SMB shows good chemistries now, with JMF being dominant back inside, other players can feed him or can attack both outside and inside knowing

that the chance of getting the rebound is very possible with JMF towering inside, they are moving the ball and all the players inside the court are

getting the chance of shooting if by chance they see good openings. Still far, but if they continue playing like this, SMB's chance to win another

title is not by far.

What an intense game, but in the end, Ginebra still manage to win.

I like the Blackwater here, they have become a competitive team already. For Ginebra, Thompson almost has a triple-double, his numbers are huge.

points - 14
rebounds - 16
assists - 9

Indeed it was an intense game, 82-85 is the final score and Blackwater covered the handicap. Thompson has really gained so much confidence in order for him to deliver that huge number, he is not the center but grabbing 16 rebounds (6 off, 10 def), that was just insane.

Though he was known for that high jump effort, but grabbing 16 rebs and you are not the center of your team something that really awesome to watch, he won the MVP last season and that boosted him a lot for sure! Moving back to that game, Blackwater almost take that full control but with the noisy fans of Ginebra that really distracting and the focus even they are a pro player still being affected by that huge crowd.

Congrats to all who bet using the handicap Blackwater's impressive game cover it and give a decent earning for you! Roll Eyes Cool

I believe we have a lot of gamblers in the forum who loves Philippines Basketball particularly PBA, that's why I'm bringing this outside the local.

Let's discuss the current events, news, and the games here. You may also share you bets here if you want to help fellow gamblers to win or ask some opinion from our fellow gamblers here.

The PBA has a short conference only but they also have short break, so if we are betting often in this games, we can easily familiarize the teams since there are only few teams compared to the NBA.

Hopefully we can make a good and helpful discussion in this thread.

As far as I know, everytime there is a season for this PBA there is one betting in which I know called " ENDING " where you will bet to guess in which the last numbers in both team will be finish. or here in this forum in which of the team will going to win in the end something like that dude.

Exciting and interesting game between the Ginebra Kings and Blackwater Bossings happening right now and it is halftime, the score is tied at 39 a piece. We know that this Ginebra team at the moment is very beatable because there is no Brownlee that could score for them easily so i'm taking that Bossing +8.5 @1.75 now. ML is 3.90 but to be safe, i'm taking with the handicap option.

Yeah. The absence of there import is very noticeable for tournament like without import. Blackwater beat recently Talk N Text which is a formidable opponent so I like your choice of bet for taking the safe side on handicap pick in favor of Blackwater. I don't usually bet on PBA due to very inconsistent results during regular matches while the odds is very one sided when the other team is powerhouse.

But that ML odds is very juicy and worthy to bet even with just a few pesos.  Wink

The game is still close, though I don't like Blackwater but it looks like they are getting better this season. Come on, they are playing against ginebra who are a dominant team, but look at the scores now, it's 47-46, they are even in the lead by one point.

Blackwater manages to take the lead and control the game in their hands until the last 3 minutes of the game. Too bad they allow Ginebra to get those many important rebounds and also the back-to-back turnover and error of Baser Amer cause them a game. Blackwater has really the potential in this tournament, They just lack of skills to finish the game flawlessly. Maybe the fanbase of Ginebra which is really annoying distracted them while Ginebra gain a boost from there supporter chant.

Well, that's the thing that Blackwater should learn, crucial plays are very important and Ginebra really has the advantage on that as they have won multiple championships and been in the Finals many times already. At least we see some major imporvement of Blackwater compared to last season where they are in a losing streak.

Once again it's so annoying to watch PBA especially when Ginebra is playing due to the one-sided fan base on PBA.  Cheesy
You can't change that, they are the most popular team so they got a huge number of fans, it's one-sided but it is what it is.

What happens in some games recently? I'm talking about teams that will have a big lead but in the end, they will blow that lead and loss. That's what happened to some games recently and the fresh one is on Converge vs Magnolia where the former was behind 20 point lead but came back and win that game.

Here in Phoenix vs Meralco, Phoenix was up as much as 16 points but Meralco comes back and sealed a win.

With this situation recently, it's tempting to bet on a live bet on a team that is behind a big lead. What do you think?

Come from behind wins often happens in the PBA and also in the NBA but betting for the team who's behind in the score is very risky personally, i don't do that especially if the that was behind is the underdog team but when I do live betting I usually take the option/market with the handicap.

Sample scenario, the score in the third quarter was Phoenix 59 - Meralco 43, you can see an offer in the bookies (Phoenix -10.5 @1.96 Meralco +10.5 @1.85), that I usually take and not the ML and I have a high win rate doing that hehe but not always a win, only high win rate.

That's a good strategy, but as for me, sometimes I get too greedy and I would try to take the higher odds, so ML is definitely a good odds because in this game, not only Meralco come back and win, they also win with a high margin. Imagine down double digit but ended up winning a double digit.

Have done that (ML) but not profitable for me since "comeback wins" seldom happens in the PBA or even in the NBA. Being too greedy in this activity will only drag us down so my advise to those who plan on using this strategy is to bet on where you think you've got a higher percentage of winning because at the end of the day, it is profit that we are after not the "fun" aspect of betting.  Grin

Being greedy is the key term here, we know the risk on betting on a team that is down double digit since there’s no guarantee for a come back, its just that Merlco is too good for this and don’t want to go home at a loss. Well, betting is more fun and challenging with this, live bets are fine as well its all about risk and if you are ready for this, go ahead and have some bet while having fun watching the game.
