I guess they didn't learn on this previous losses. they are still heavily relying on him, Berto now in NLEX is just the Donovan Mitchell of the Cavaliers, so let's see how they'll progress in the elimination match. Actually, NLEX is capable of beating strong teams as they had proven that by beating the Ginebra, and they can also play a defensive game as this game only has a total of 148 points, so it was a very defensive game.
On this particular game, only Bollick who were able to score at least 20 points from all the players, he scored 25 from 10-24 shooting, or 30% of the total team attempt.
Good comparison, seems that a good defensive stop will lead them losing the game, if there's no one who can provide them numbers that will let them survive then there's no chance for them to reach the finals or if ever they manage to reach the finals and who's waiting for them? SMB? Gin Kings or maybe TNT? those are teams that have solid cores, meaning to say that they are complete with both defense and offense, though TNT is not that tough as how they are before but still got that rotations that will give their opponents a hard competition to win, but then again, lets wait for the next round and see how NLEX will adjust and how they will continue their campaign for this season.
NLEX can't beat the SMB with how they are playing. SMB can easily minimize the production of Berto and the offense will already shutdown. Though the NLEX are fun to watch with Berto but they aren't a championship team yet, maybe if Berto will join a championship team, that will be the time that he'll win a championship for his own. I think the best team for him to land would be the Ginebra so he would also get a help to improve his defense.
