They need to use whoever is available to support RHJ, with Oftana and Castro plus the big men who can help they still have that competitve squad who can actually win a game, TNT is TNT we know how they play together and they are not doing anything to reason out with how they play the game, they will play whoever their opponents and they show up the way they always use to, no further reasoning but to maximize and try to win each games that they will compete.

Though same with your argument, they don't have that much scorers compared with SMB and Ginebra but with pride for being the last season champ, I think it will help them to try harder.

As long as they maintain a healthy import, TNT will stay competitive. However, it's undeniable that their championship odds are diminished due to the absence of two key players. While Castro is undoubtedly skilled, we can't rely on him to carry the team consistently. Additionally, RHJ hasn't fully proven himself this conference, and personally, I'm not satisfied with his production in his debut.

That's the most important thing they have to maintain, although they can get a replacement import if that will happen but RHJ is a different breed, I mean he already proven himself many times not only in the PBA but also during the FIBA WC and Asian Cup where his team play against Gilas Pilipinas. As of now, it's too early to conclude who the best import is, and I'm sure RJH will try to catch up with the statistics to have a good chance in winning the best import award.

Castro seems needs to adjust and go back in time, without Mickey and Roger TNT is really needed him, Oftana can't do it alone plus the fact that earlier even RHJ is back he needed to rest late in the third quarter not sure because any injury but TNT needs to survive without him and good thing that they manage to escape that game as Converge manage to force the game into OT. I was thinking to place some spare for the handicap but I doubt them since RHJ is playing, sorry missed but that's gambling hahaha..

TNT needs the young guys to step up; Castro can't be playing heavy minutes considering his age. He isn't LeBron, so there's a likelihood that he'll get injured, and TNT will miss a reliable point guard. They are still in the running this season; they secured their first win. They just have to play smarter next time and manage Castro's minutes effectively. Additionally, RHJ needs to step up his game.

They don't have as many scorers compared to SMB and Ginebra, so if Castro can maintain his consistency, perhaps in the next game, they'll also need contributions from their veterans like Ryan Reyes, Khobuntin, and Heruela. Oftana is expected to remain consistent, having done so twice in a row already. With the team undermanned, missing Pogoy and now with Williams reportedly out fo the team, they need to make the most of what they have.

TnT almost loss this game but by the help of individual they finish the match lead up to 3 point which is 1 game position. But anyways they show us a good matchup. Also  Jason Castro doing very well even in his age he can still  assist to carry thier team into victory and now they have already 1-1 standing which pretty good win today to tie thier records. Tomorrow Northport vs Rain or shine and the second game is Phoenix vs magnolia maybe I'll go for Rain or shine and magnolia tomorrow.

Jason Castro is incredibly valuable during crunch time, making it crucial to manage his minutes effectively to avoid wearing him down throughout the game. The younger players need to step up, be more aggressive, and prioritize solid defense. Even if they trail, keeping the margin close is important since Castro can be a game-changer in the second half. This seems like the right strategy, especially considering they don't have many scorers on the team.

TNT was supposed to be a championship team, especially with JB out and RHJ proving to be a good import with excellent chemistry with his teammates. However, it's unfortunate that Pogoy and Williams are out—Williams permanently, as confirmed by recent news.

It's good to see RHJ back and leading the team into a good margin, with a help of his team of course they can have a good chance to start a winning game here. TNT is a title contender, with their line up right now I'm confident that they can match the top teams and have a good run too. All they have to do is to be more consistent and sustain that good team work, good to watch PBA again after their long break.

Yeah, it's good to see RHJ back and right night they are ahead by 6 points with 3 minutes to go in the fourth quarter. RHJ did not score heavily here as he's got only 14 points but he got a lot of help from the locals, especially from Calvin Oftana who has now 18 points in the game.

I've read an article today that TNT has terminated the contract of Mikey Williams, so this means that he will no longer play for TNT or in the PBA, to say the least.

RHJ is back, and with him, TNT might start winning again.

TNT is currently dominating the game, outscoring Converge by a double-digit margin. I'm concerned that Converge might end up winless this season, especially considering their struggles against teams like Blackwater, let alone stronger ones like SMB, TNT, Ginebra, and others. The local players are performing well, particularly Oftana. It seems like his confidence has surged after participating in the international competition. It's interesting to note that he and RHJ, who was part of different teams that faced in the Asian Cup Finals, are now teammates and the top scorers of the team.

I thought it would be an easy win for TNT, but it turned out to be a close game that even went to overtime. TNT was lucky to snatch this one, but it was quite a nail-biter. Anyway, I think RHJ needs to improve his game, but it's understandable as he was coming back from a health problem, so he probably isn't at 100% yet in this game. However, what matters is that they won the game. Next time, they just have to make sure they know how to take care of their big lead.

Better luck next time for bettors who trusted TNT to win with the spread. I'm not sure what the handicap was in this game, but given RHJ's return and Converge's poor performance against Blackwater, I'm guessing it was at least -5.5 for TNT, which they didn't cover despite the win.

Looking ahead, we have two games tomorrow. The first is Northport vs. ROS, while the second is Phoenix vs. Magnolia. We'll see if Rivero can still deliver against a tougher team.
I'm actually expecting to have a good spread with this game but it looks like Converge will not lose that easily but still TNT got a lucky break win and take a win. RHJ will improve more for sure, good thing he came back and become more healthy.  I'm still analyzing the game for tomorrow before I place my bet, can't wait to see their Rookies doing a big impact on their game.

Oftana score 19 but Castro got 23 points here, big night for the old but goodies the blur.

Good for him, he would not come back in the PBA anymore as he is so demanding, he shoud show his talent somewhere, probably not in the Phiilppines.

It would be disheartening if he were acquired by either SMB or TNT. That would leave Phoenix as a weaker team without a scorer like him. They already faced challenges when Matthew Wright left to play overseas, so finding someone to replace him is crucial. It seems they might have found the right person in their first game of the season. At least, Ricci is quite adept at teamwork and good in sharing the ball.

He make his impact! Now he needed consistency as some of those social media vloggers are bringing that topic regarding how inconsistent Ricci was, he needs to continue showing his aggressiveness and that kind of a team playing basketball style, if he can work more with his teammates and the coaches will allow him to keep playing with longer time, I think he personally that he can be somehow the new face of this franchise.

Unless, again both SMC and MVP will ask for him and give decent offer, we can't avoid that to happen as both are dominating the league.

SMC and MVP could make a tempting offer just to lure a player to join their team, but in the case of Ricci, he is still young, probably they are just making him matured and before a true scorer first, that's the time they'll try to sign him since their players will be getting older as well. I hope that does not happen though, if Ricci would love to make more money, better for him if he'll try to explore opportunities overseas, for sure he'll ern more than what SMB or MVP group could offer to him.

Are you guys waiting for the betting odds on the later games? Check this out:

DYIP (+3.5) vs. Batang Pier (-3.5) = 215.5 (Total)
Road Warriors (-3.5) vs. Phoenix Fuel Masters (+3.5) = 211.5 (Total)

The first game is at 4:00 PM, and the next game is at 8:00 PM. Share your thoughts on these games now.  Cheesy

Just bet for NorthPort -3.5 @1.93 vs DYIP. Though Stephen Holt will be making his debut against NorthPort which i think that he will struggle at first adjusting to the kind of play of the PBA. The PBA is known to be physical so i think as usual they will succumb to the more talented guys of NorthPort. For me, Holt will be a force which will help DYIP but not on this game, maybe a few more games then we can see his true value to the team, i hope i'm correct on my speculation on this one hehe.

Goog pick kabayan! NP win the game leading with 5 points, close game in each end of a quarters and NP shows their capability to win taking this 1st win against the DYIP, seems that you well-read how the young DYIP will perform, sweet profit kabayan! No share for the 2nd game ? hehehe..

R.Rivero's first game, upon checking he already got 7 points not bad for his debut and still in the early 2nd half still have lots of time.

I didn't catch the game, but it seems like Ricci Rivero is proving to be a valuable addition to the team. I read an article below praising how the young players of Phoenix contributed to a comeback from a double-digit deficit and secured a double-digit victory in the end.

Phoenix young guns torch NLEX in fourth quarter

I didn't watch the game too just chech the score board but if that's what happened then it's a good start  for his career,  if he continue playing like this, chances being noticed by both SMC and MVP groups will be their knowing how good the radar of these two giant's groups,  might be cooking show behind and an intense offer that can't resist.

Too early though,  a single game won't conclude your overall performance, but can gain attention and create good positive impressions.

I don't know why some people can't believe that Junemar still have won the MVP for the seventh time. Come on guys, the guy deserve it and we can see that there's a statistics basis for that so it's not hokus pokus that he has won it. Maybe not from the folks here in forum guys but in social medias, I have seen a lot of them can't believe on it. As for the TNT game, I agree that Mikey is really needed by them and I think that's the reason why he's also hard on the team and trying to make feel important of himself.

Sorry kabayan if I will answer you since I'm also once of those who can't believe that Abay can win that title since his performances is not in the same level from how I look at him before,  I mean yes he deserves to win and no question about that, statistics and voting might give him an edge against scottie and CStand and thays what happen he win  and he takes the award  and add the trophy to keep establishing his goat status don't get me wrong 😉 establishing means putting the big gap behind to anyone who play from this league 😉
I think the main basis was the scoring. I've seen the stats and likely the score card that was posted b some random page on facebook. It's really needed to get some revamp for such stats because there are also other good players that may deserve to win the MVP. Typically, with all of these awards comes from those winning teams and they also need to recognize those players that are from a not so good team but having a decent stats that's recognizable. Maybe soon or within the next conferences, they'll consider that but that's it, congrats to Abay.
