I don't think it makes a difference or at least I would say it is an excuse if the players claim that the time of the year was decisive. They are top notch professionals and will play that tournament at any time in any place on any planet Wink They are used to playing almost year round anyway, they know snow, rain, and extremely hot weather. I think it won't be about the "time of the year". If anything, the climate could play a role in soccer, but even that is taken care of within the stadiums as far as I know.

The issue is not just the physical condition, this can be more or less well managed by the players and technical teams. The issue is the preparation time for the tournament. The technical teams of the national teams will have less time to prepare the team for the tournament. The internship period will be shorter.
True, national teams are not like clubs in which players have a lot of time to familiarize themselves with each other, the time they have has always been limited to begin with and in this world cup the time available for this process to take place will be even shorter, which means that teams with superior talent or in which most of their players play at their domestic league will have an even bigger edge than usual during the world cup.
For something like that for me it does not have a significant impact and also does not guarantee they can play well,
with the increasing number of test matches or other matches of course it is used to understand each other,
that's enough and again the role of the coach is also important to unite them

For the national team, they can play well and the players can understand each other, they don't have to spend a lot of time together. As you said,
it is quite routine to do friendly matches, it will create good teamwork. Moreover, fellow players will also easily communicate because they have
the same language when they play for the national team. The process of cooperation between players is also much faster, therefore every time
there is an international event, the preparation is not too long. On the other hand, I agree that the cohesiveness of a team depends on how
the coach approaches the players so that they want to work well together. Especially big players who are already popular are more difficult
to control, here it takes a coach who can be firm with his players. And also actually players must also maintain their attitude if they have
strengthened the national team, because they carry the name of their country, so each player must eliminate their ego for the success of the team.

Well, the role of coaches is always very important in all matters relating to their own players, because coaches are not only required to be able to provide good strategies and good coaching methods. But it must also be able to unite the players so that the players can work well together when in a match. Moreover, each player has their own ego to continue to be the best among the many players.

It does not mean anything as in the national teams players are of the highest caliber so they don't need a lot of time to find each other, they select 22 out of a lot of players and this selection process is a tough one that is why we see much better performance during national teams clashes. We see much more beautiful goals from such events and that is why for me the World Cup is the best football event, well as its name says in the world. There will be no edge except that of the quality which is already known before the event takes place by seeing which player each team has called upon for the event.
I can assume that any top club in the top ten will beat any top national team (even France or Brazil), so it's hard to agree that the World Cup is the best football event in terms of the level of play. You think so only because this is a rare event and teams such as Germany - Brazil may not meet each other for 10 years, while we see games of the level of Real - Liverpool every year in the Champions League.
That would eb weird, I am sure that many teams would kill to have a team like France, I mean look at their roster alone, Lloris and Maignan at gk? Varane, Kimpembe as defenders, lucas hernandes as wing back, Kounde and kante at defensive midfield, Guendozi, Tchouameni, Kamara as midfields, Coman and lastly the strikers of Benzema, Mbappe, Griezmann all on the striker position.

You have to be crazy to think that big clubs could build teams like this. I mean maybe City wouldn't want this? But I guarantee you, there aren't 10 clubs in the world that have better roster that this, they are insanely good and they will stay this good for a while as well looking at their age.

Players with incredible intent just have a general understanding of the game that is way beyond the average player. Best example I like to prefer to is Spain during their prime. They didn't meet more often than others, they just had 11 outstanding superstars who exactly knew where to run, when to run, where to play and when to play. Sure many of them played in the same club like Real Madrid or Barcelona, but that is actually the same for some national teams like Germany (Bayern Munich).

I still think that it is completely open who is going to take it home this year. Messi wants to know what's possible, most likely his last World Cup. Same for Ronaldo. Apart from the fact that it takes place in Qatar, I hope for some dramatically close games!
World cup is always having some shocking results and many other entertaining aspects which give good fun to fans because they wait for this event desperately right now predicting about results is not easy because many teams are preparing good for this event and want to have better result and many players are going to play their last mega event specially two legendary players of this era Messi and Ronaldo are at the top.

Just because of this many fans are having something special feelings about this World Cup which is going to play first time in the Middle East here most chances Argentina and Brazil are hot for this event, and they are looking for challenging European dominance which is having big impact and strong hold for last two decades.

That depends. If a Brazilian player played in the club Brazil was going to compete with, which side would he play on?
We cannot forget that clubs bring together a group of players from different countries. As soon as they start to separate, things get different.

Therefore, it is a difficult comparison to make and perhaps meaningless to make.

Brazil are the overwhelming favorites this time. It not because they have improved their quality, but because the other teams have gone down in terms of capabilities. IMO, only Argentina is capable of giving them a tough challenge this time. The European teams are being very inconsistent. Italy didn't even managed to qualify. Germany, France and Netherlands are not consistent. Spain is looking good, but they are not the same as the teams of 2014 and 2018. As of now, Spain and England looks like the strongest Europeans teams at the moment.
After very long time now we are talking about quality of Brazil and Argentina even still European teams are in better position and have ability to challenge them for title race, but surely something good is going to happen for them in positive way because they are doing good work and have few quality players those can bring back Samba soccer back in connection, and we will watch Champion from South America after two decades.

Even France, England and few other European teams are also in good position but surely this time it's no easy for any team to win and have trophy balance is still in European favor with many heavyweights are in their side and Samba soccer is having only two teams to compete them let's wait for another three months and have Champions of world in Qatar where preparations are still going for this mega event.

What Brazil has inscribed in the history of world football no one can deny. Brazil is the country that has won the most world cup titles five times, not only that, Brazil has created many of the world's top players with the characteristics of samba football.
I admit that currently the Brazilian team has a very solid squad and is filled with many talented players in various positions.

I don't hesitate to make Brazil the favorite team, even so, I think other teams' squads also have the potential to win the world title this time, in my opinion, England, France, Germany, Argentina, Belgium, even the Netherlands can stop Brazil's journey to become champions. Well, let's look forward to this celebration being held.

Just by looking at those stars on their shirts you can see greatness, Brazil gave birth to players that helped changing the world of football and make it the way it is right now, I can't name another country that has stars (I mean players not tge stars on their shirt) as many as Brazil have in their history and till now, this could be another year for Brazil to add another star to their shirt.

Well.. you maybe right. Not a big fan of Brazil, but I can't deny that they have produced the maximum number of legendary players in football. I can name at least a dozen, starting with Pelé, Kaká, Zé Roberto, Leônidas, Ronaldo, Ronaldinho, Rivaldo, Romario and Garrincha. Argentina may come close, and the European teams will be far behind these two teams. And this time also, Brazil has the maximum probability of lifting the trophy. And I would love to watch the final between Brazil and Argentina.

@Rabi3 I vividly remember the 2002 World Cup as it was the first time I saw the big tournament, and guess who won all 7 matches hint Brazil Cheesy. Lastly while their performances may have gone down post that final win, but this year they’ll rise and win the World Cup again, because they have the best squad who can definitely defeat any opponent that comes their way.

Absolutely.

People tend to underestimate Brazil, but it's just the best team in terms of history of the world cup. They have qualified directly to every single edition of the world cup (only team in the world with that record), and they're basically the best performing team historically.

I can definitely see them at least in the semi-finals, and maybe they will end up winning the world cup this time, to add one more star to their current 5.

Another point is that it would be hot or whatever the condition is for both teams and not just one team. If England loses to France, they can't say it was too hot as an excuse because it was hot for the French players as well, how could it be not equal in that sense.

However, playing on perfect conditions allow us to watch a better game, it matters to us. If the weather is good enough then everyone will play their best and we will watch amazing games, if it's too hot, too cold, rain, snow or whatever, even if too windy, then we are going to see results that are based on not the perfect situation and that will not be good thing to view as a fan who will be watching from home, certainly not to people who watch it on the stadiums.

It really depends, but yes we all probably prefer watching soccer under sunny conditions, but still to me the circumstances aren't always to blame. As you said first of all it's all the same for almost anybody there and second the teams will be sufficiently prepared no matter what. Of course when a team loses early during the tournament, maybe even during the group stage, it's the conditions that are too blame. That's the magic excuse in any sport.
