The Netherlands always had a great team, especially from the beginning of the 1970s, but they had the misfortune of playing in the finals in 1974 and 1978 against the hosts, Germany and Argentina, in 1998 they lost on penalties to Brazil, in 2010 they only lost in extra time to the best generation of Spain ever...
Maybe it's a matter of luck or bad luck, but obviously they always lacked something at key moments.
The Netherlands will again be one of the favorites this time, but the question is whether they will have the necessary quality and experience to finally become world champions.
Currently the chance of the Netherlands is quite large, this is because they are joined by 3 teams that can be said to be below them. I think with their current condition it is clear this will give the Dutch the upper hand and the chances of qualifying are very high.
But it has to be seen also that the biggest threat for them at the moment is hosts Qatar who could be one of the Underdogs due to some of their home advantage.

The Netherlands has a long history in football, the Oranye team has the quality, and Van Gaal is a great coach and has good vision.
But in this competition, you don't just need the best squad but also need luck. Luck is a factor in football.
The Netherlands has what it takes to be champions.
There is only one thing that the Oranye team has not had in the world cup to date: Luck.

Euro Cup1992 is an example of the magic of football.
Denmark, which did not qualify for the qualification, managed to become the champion in the final match against West Germany.
There is no doubt Netherlands is one of the best soccer team in world, but sadly they never achieve which they deserve in this game and lost three finals which is record as they are only team in soccer history which play 3 finals and never won any trophy two time they lost finals in AET which means surely they are the unluckiest team in soccer.

Now in this event, we can expect something good from them as well because quality is amazing and with Luis Van Gaal they could be a deadly combination for many teams and go through into last eight without any big trouble.

Now time is running very quickly with just less than 100 days left in this event and excitement is going to its peak, hopefully all will be good for all teams during this time.

Senegal, Qatar and Ecuador all are in good shape and can give any result in presence of their quality players those are involved in UEFA clubs and have good enough experience.
Those three have to be the weakest teams in the world cup, not sure if this was supposed to be a joke post, but i definitely don't see any of them in good shape.

Of course the host team is always a favorite, but I'm not sure if Qatar will be able to go to the next round for example.

maybe Qatar can advance to the next round, we will never know what will happen later in the field throughout the 2x45 minute match anything can happen.
I remember the 2002 World Cup, when South Korea and Japan hosted the World Cup. The only Asian squad that advanced to the next round and beat the big giants was South Korea, how South Korea beat Italy 2-1 with all the controversy.

maybe this could also happen with qatar if they can prove it or luck factor on their side.although it's hard to imagine they can qualify for the next round, and the quality of the Qatar squad is far below the average European and Latin American squad.  however, I think, in this phase of the group stage, all the teams that will compete later have a chance to qualify for the next round.

If you look at the teams that qualify, it's clear they will be categorized as a weak team but as you said, sometimes the hosts always have an advantage and it would be very good if Qatar could take advantage of that advantage because if you look at their current condition, only the Netherlands have become one of their stumbling blocks.

Several teams have already secured tickets for the World Cup in Qatar. Brazil-Argentina have already qualified for the World Cup in Qatar. This World Cup in Qatar is going to be a very competitive World Cup. Qatar is going to host this World Cup tournament for the first time. They have already broken all previous cost records So I think this World Cup is going to be a better and competitive World Cup compared to other World Cups.

Netherlands have a good reputation and records when it comes to football competitions, they are very well known for their spectacular performances and superiority in quality and skills which is a good advantage to their squad, hopefully we will see some of those qualities and trilling performances when the world cup starts.

I agree with you, because Netherlands team are well prepared to showcase their tactics to prove to the whole world that they have potential squads to handle all position to ensure they maintain victory through out the tournament. No doubt, Netherlands team will definitely perform well in their first leg to achieve victory from the match because their strikers are well position to demonstrate well to ensure they embrace many goals that will give them victory at the end of the match.

This is the first time Qatar has made it to the world cup and they did it as a host, maybe they could have qualified if they competed like any other team but that is doubtful, so taking this into account even if there was an attempt to try to help Qatar to move to the next round it will most likely fail, as Qatar is probably one of the weakest teams on the tournament despite having home field advantage over all the rest of teams on the competition.

Yeah, I guess you're right.

The Netherlands is always a solid team, performing excellent in the world cup. They have just never actually ended up winning it in the end. Always so close, but never getting it.

As I mentioned, I really hope they win this time, but it's going to be difficult. It would be a historic moment for them, well deserved. We only need to wait and see.
this year the Netherlands did come with a pretty good squad. no wonder many fans also favorite it to be a champion. this year several countries are also strengthened with good players in the Europa League. it seems that it will be increasingly difficult to make predictions about which country will win the Qatar edition of the world cup this year.

Argentina comes to Qatar with positive capital, namely the 2021 Copa America champion, the 2022 Finalisima champion. And an unbeaten record since 2019. I think this will be the capital for Argentina to win the world cup. I agree with you, Argentina is not only Messi but there are many other potential players.

Past accomplishments don't guarantee anything, especially if we're talking about tournaments like the Copa América (where Argentina has one big rival, Brazil) or the Finalisima, FIFA's next "important" one-game tournament. Argentina has a good team, but there will be many good teams at the World Cup and they will definitely not be the favorite there. As for Messi, even earlier, from tournament to tournament, his contribution was unstable, so it is not known how well he will play in Qatar.

Yes, you're right, the only thing is that this will be the last World Cup for Messi and possibly for Neymar Jr as well, as well as for CR7, this is what makes this world attractive because those players will want to give everything to take their team to the final and win it, in fact I think that if Messi was not activated here he has to be activated because that will be the image under which everyone will remember him and if he wins this World Cup he will be the hero that many expect him to be, and in this way he could have fulfilled everything, A similar case is what happens with CR7, since he is an icon in his country and all of Portugal trusts him so that he can win the World Cup.
Netherlands have a good reputation and records when it comes to football competitions, they are very well known for their spectacular performances and superiority in quality and skills which is a good advantage to their squad, hopefully we will see some of those qualities and trilling performances when the world cup starts.

Well, for me, one of the countries that deserves to win a World Cup is Holland, I don't know why, but they have been very close to glory and have not been able to achieve it, I think they play very well, they have had world-class stars who have been in the best teams in the world and even so I think that what Holando lacks is luck, good luck, because they have everything, the talent, the strategy, the strength, the speed, but in the end there is something that always fails them, So the way I see it, I think it's the so-called luck factor, because there are teams that have reached the final and yes, they win, for example Brazil, it's a complete team that has everything just like the Netherlands, but they have Had that kind of champion, I hope this World Cup Holando can go very far, they deserve it.

We cannot predict about the teams before the start of the event...once the matches start we will get to know which team is in good spirits.
I am not going to bet on these teams because to me they are not very strong teams.

It's obvious that they are going to go up with 9 points. But that won't save them, even though other groups are harder, the teams that come out of those groups will be even harder. So, they are going to "eventually" face those good teams, they may face France, if not England, if not Belgium, if not Brazil, if not Argentina, these are all amazing teams and that will cause Netherlands to have a problem.

They can only have "easy" group stage and I think it really may not be that easy with Senegal there, they may end up second and somehow go up anyway, but first position could be taken by Senegal too, it all depends on the game they will play against each other.
Few things are good on papers like this group is easy and few other groups are tight but in reality we can't predict about any team or group because we have world's best teams here in this event and all can go through even they are not good enough on papers, but they can give us surprise in ground as well Netherlands here after 8 years and now having few very good players not mean they are safe for second round and have good quality because all other teams are also here with their best players and can give upset in any match.

Senegal, Qatar and Ecuador all are in good shape and can give any result in presence of their quality players those are involved in UEFA clubs and have good enough experience.

The Dutch players and fans were very happy after the Orange team qualified for the 2022 World Cup. The Netherlands are in Group A of the 2022 World Cup, they are in the same group as hosts Qatar and two representatives from Africa and South America, namely Senegal and Ecuador. At this World Cup the Netherlands was a bit lucky because they joined an easy group, on paper the quality of Qatar, Ecuador and Senegal were below them. Van Gaal certainly had no trouble bringing his team through to the next round with the status of group winners.

The Netherlands which has several quality players who play in big European clubs will try to provide competition for other countries, Van Gaal who is very experienced in big games can motivate his players to play disciplined and not leave empty space for the opposing team to enter their defense area.

In any case, the opening game has been moved. In the sense that Qatar can now play the opening game and that the Netherlands - Senegal will now be the 2nd match. I don't think it matters much for the level. What should we expect from the Qatar team? There is a lot of wealth in some parts of the country, they could buy the best team in the world together but the players from Qatar are not good enough. I don't think it's realistic to expect them to qualify for the next round, but if there's one team in this group they can rely on it's Costa Rica, so the opening game.

There is no doubt we are going to have one of the most exciting world cup because Brazil and Argentina both are looking to win, and they need to break strong control of European countries which is never been easy as their quality is improving due to their strong structure and Brazil and Argentina both are having few quality players those can do magical performance and this is going to be very entertaining time for soccer fans.

Right now, we have few very exciting European teams which are going to give their best like France, Spain and England with Germany and Netherlands both are not good but still can do good performance and these teams can give shocking results as well because both have few quality players and very good combination.
Definitely, the worldcup holding soon will be a very exciting and fascinating experience with some countries already listed out as favourites to win the trophy. Brazil, Argentina and France already have my support, any of the tree will win because of the level of players registered in their teams they have upper hand in the competition and I think all three will make it to the semi finals round.

Under the leadership of Luis Van Gaal, the Netherlands played very solidly with a very good performance. The Netherlands will meet Senegal in the first leg of the group stage.
Senegal is not an easy opponent to beat but also not the most difficult opponent to face, both teams have star players, the battle between Sadio Mane and Memphis Depay is very interesting for football lovers.

however, if you look at the depth of players and match statistics, the Netherlands is ahead of the other squads that are in Group A. I believe the Netherlands will qualify for the group stage, although it is too early to predict it.

In this case his role has been quite good so far and the possibility for Van Gaal's world cup event will show something interesting because this is the last time he will coach the Netherlands considering that after this event he will be replaced by Koeman.
I don't really know why he was substituted but considering this is his last appearance with Holland then he will definitely go all out I think.

Yeah, there are way too many excellent teams in this world cup, it's hard to predict who will lift the trophy this time. Brazil, Argentina, Germany, France, England, etc... I really hope The Netherlands wins this time. They're very good but always end up 2nd, 3rd, or 4th... never winning.

I know they're not the best team this time around, but you never know in football...

The Netherlands finally qualified for the World Cup after last participating in the 2014 World Cup.
Van Gaal's comeback to the national team managed to bring the Oranje team to finish in first place in the qualification.
The Oranje team remains a quality team with a combination of promising young and mature players.
Memphis Depay received less attention at the club, but when he was in the national team uniform, he was a different player and was the top scorer of the 2022 World Cup Qualification in the European Zone with 12 goals.

Even though they have never won the title, the Netherlands is still one of the strengths of world football,
and the world cup often brings many surprises. Do not be pessimistic.

The Netherlands and Luis Van Gaal both are very solid combination and have very good records for their country now after few years they are back in World Cup which is good with this I am feeling they could be good to go through until quarterfinal or semifinal because they have good record of giving good results in this event just fail to win but have very good history even in this event they have very good teams as opponents like Senegal which is currently African Champions and have Sadio Mané who is in best form.

But Netherlands are superior in quality and skills which is good advantage for them as team Memphis Deepay is quality striker who can do magics for his team even he is not good in clubs but having good record in national team.
