By the transfermarkt calculations Qatar worths under 20 million euros, whereas Senegal worths nearly 300 million euros, that is a x15 time difference. Once again, I am not saying that it is guaranteed because in football, anything could happen, but I feel like there is a good chance we could end up with Qatar losing all games.
Totally agree. This is the first time that Qatar will participate in a World Cup. It's because? Because it is the organizing country, otherwise it would hardly participate. Of course, by being at home, they can have extra motivation, and are preparing as best they can to make a good impression. But honestly I think the probability of losing every game is pretty high.
Even in last few years Qatar authorities are spending some good amount in this game but still it's not good enough for them to achieve anything special from this world cup because they have not good squad and qualify for this event just as host which is having no worth and Senegal are African champions which mean they beat quality teams from African continent, and they can do something special here as well.
Here if Qatar have any chance of a point is it's against Ecuador because they are the weakest team in this group but still it's not easy for them because they will do their best for having some chance to be in next round which is not easy in presence of Senegal.

It is true that the only way Qatar was going to play in the world cup is by hosting the world cup. And I really don't believe that they have any chance of winning or even getting past the first stage of the world cup. I am not even sure that they will be able to win even one match. However, as they are the hosting countries, they will be able to participate in the world cup, but even the people of Qatar don't have high hopes for them.

For the quality now when they see they are in Group F it will definitely increase their confidence a little considering that they are currently with Morocco, Croatia and Canada.
Their chances with Croatia are clearly quite big but indeed Morocco and Canada are also clearly the Underdogs who are a little difficult here.
I think they will talk a lot now especially to qualify for the next phase.
This is only Canada's second participation in a FIFA World Cup, but was won with a lot of claw and good results in the classification.
Together with Belgium, I hope to see Canada will be able to qualify in the group stage... Obviously I don't expect it to achieve good results after that, let's see how they will make themselves in the first games and then set the following bets.
However... from Croatia and Morocco I don't expect much, I believe you should not even qualify in the group stage.
As we can check Belgium and Croatia both are clearly favourite for qualifying into next round because in quality both are very good with in presence of too many quality players these are good squads on other side Canada and Morocco relatively are not good enough but still we can expect some challenge from them because at least they are coming after playing some qualification matches against good teams.

Belgium is clearly favourite about their approach into semifinal and Croatia is also not bad at all as they are also a good team which track record in this event is never been bad in last world cup they lost against France in final and now still can achieve something good.

the croatia squad is one of the dark horses that is highly reckoned with by the other teams that are the opponents in group F.
the squad led by Luka Modric as team captain, has a depth far above the canada or marocco squad.
considering that croatia is the runner-up of the 2018 world cup, and croatia performance in the last few matches is very slick and convincing.
Cadana chances are very small to qualify for the next round, especially for Morocco.

in group F, there is belgium which is a tough opponent and has some star players and is filled with many experienced players. It's very difficult for Canada to get away easily seeing the results of the match not being too good and the depth of players far below average when compared to Croatia and Belgium.

I would like to remind you that at the last World Cup in Russia, Croatia played in the final, and that at the last competition of the League of Nations this year, Croatians defeated France and Denmark away from home.
In their group of qualifiers for the World Cup, they were convincingly first, ahead of Russia and Slovakia.
The best Croatian players play in top European teams, such as Real, Chelsea, Inter, Bayern etc.  so I don't understand where you came to the conclusion that this is a weak team that should not have qualified for the World Cup and that we shouldn't expect much from them?
Realistically, considering the strength of the teams, Belgium and Croatia are the favorites of this group and one of the hidden favorites of the entire competition.
It would be a really big surprise if Canada takes one of the first two places in the group, given that they cannot be compared to Belgium and Croatia in terms of team quality and experience.

In my opinion, there is not much evidence that Canada will play well in the World Cup due to the fact that they haven't played in the World Cup many times. Therefore, it is going to be hard for me to make any predictions about them in my opinion. Additionally, we should all keep in mind that the qualifiers and the actual World Cup are two very different things. It is my hope that Canada realizes that and treats each match in the same way.

There is no doubt that Belgium is a good team, and I do believe that people have high expectations for them since they are such a good team. I hope they will be able to deliver what they have promised. But the main attraction of this World Cup is going to be Argentina with Lionel Messi and obviously the defending champion France.

It's true that Morocco never got very far in the world cup, but it's always that country that creates many difficulties for opponents.
In relation to Croatia, although I don't think they will go far either, they have been playing well and can complicate the group's accounts.

They ended indeed on the 3rd place in the 2018 World Championship but given the quality of the team (with De Bruyne, Courtois, Lukaku, Hazard,...) everybody expects more and they never really delivered. This upcoming world championship will be their last chance, with the current team, to win the trophee.

I haven't followed the Netherlands too much lately, but the Belgian team is already quite an experienced team with very good results recently. Weren't the Belgians third in the world at the last world championship in Russia?
In my opinion, France and Brazil are the main favorites at the World Cup, but between these teams, Spain, Argentina, England, Germany, Belgium, the Netherlands, Portugal and Croatia, I believe we will see at least one participant in the finals of the World Cup.
This world championship will be highly uncertain and small details and luck will probably decide the winner.

It's a shame that with Belgium's golden generation they didn't even have an impressive game,
should Roberto Martinez resign or be sacked because he's got nothing with a fancy squad,
This year's World Cup will indeed be the last for the golden generation and we will see how far they will go

The world cup been hosted in Qatar will be  advantage to water in many way most expecially to boost their  performance to do well in the world cup , I know Qatar  can't win the cup but atleast their performance won't be to bad.
Qatar is indeed a very good country in managing everything they hold, including in this world cup because Qatar is a rich country and also always consistent in terms of sports.
So don't hesitate for their performance in this world cup. But I don't know what water you mean because water must be present in everything now.

The Netherlands always had a great team, especially from the beginning of the 1970s, but they had the misfortune of playing in the finals in 1974 and 1978 against the hosts, Germany and Argentina, in 1998 they lost on penalties to Brazil, in 2010 they only lost in extra time to the best generation of Spain ever...
Maybe it's a matter of luck or bad luck, but obviously they always lacked something at key moments.
The Netherlands will again be one of the favorites this time, but the question is whether they will have the necessary quality and experience to finally become world champions.
The Netherlands have a good team (allthough a lot of young players) with a good coach but I doubt that they will really get far this year. They have had some good matches in the Nations League, but nobody really cares about that. I think Belgium has a far better team (quality wise) than the Netherlands but also Belgium will not win the title.
The Netherlands is one of the best team in Europe, and they have very good history in World Cup history even right now they have few youngsters but still they can do much better than we are expecting because their quality is amazing and right now with coach like Luis Van Gaal they can work on different strategies and system which will help them in this event for having better results.

Belgium is also very good side and their recent record is not good but still many quality players are in those are having very good experience in UEFA and can go through into good way with their quality but as many mentioning these both teams are not good enough for winning this title just have good chance for qualifying into semifinal or quarterfinal because they need more experience for better results.

maybe Qatar can advance to the next round, we will never know what will happen later in the field throughout the 2x45 minute match anything can happen.
I remember the 2002 World Cup, when South Korea and Japan hosted the World Cup. The only Asian squad that advanced to the next round and beat the big giants was South Korea, how South Korea beat Italy 2-1 with all the controversy.

maybe this could also happen with qatar if they can prove it or luck factor on their side.although it's hard to imagine they can qualify for the next round, and the quality of the Qatar squad is far below the average European and Latin American squad.  however, I think, in this phase of the group stage, all the teams that will compete later have a chance to qualify for the next round.
I do not know man, that doesn't sound like a possible thing. I mean of course it is football and we do not know what will happen, but Senegal vs Qatar and you think there is a small chance that Qatar could win? I am not entirely sure about that. Yeah, if we look at the league, Qatar league pays a good sum of money to get great players from other nations, but how many great players are in Qatar national team?

By the transfermarkt calculations Qatar worths under 20 million euros, whereas Senegal worths nearly 300 million euros, that is a x15 time difference. Once again, I am not saying that it is guaranteed because in football, anything could happen, but I feel like there is a good chance we could end up with Qatar losing all games.

Yes, you are right. it sounds like a joke and seems very unlikely. however, I once again reiterate.
we really will not know what will happen later for 2×45 minutes everything can happen. especially they are the host of the organizers, of course the moral support and local audience will be very strong to be echoed.
although in reality it doesn't really help. without having to compare with the transfermarkt calculations we can compare them in terms of the quality of the players.
Senegal has many players competing in the European League, one of them is Sadio Mane, while Qatar doesn't seem to exist.  However, to be honest, I don't have any predictions for this opening match, but rather I predict Holland will be the winner of Group A.

The Dutch team from all of those years and now is very different, in those years they had great and world class players that could challenge for national trophies, if Netherland were to have become world champions it would have been then and not now, their team looks kind of ordinary to me now, i know they have got players like Depay, Frankie De Jong, V.Dijk and some others, but these are not the players that can win the world cup for a country; that is why they are not part of my favorites and i am not giving them any chance in this year's world cup.
