Belgium is no longer one of the favorites, according to the bookmaker. That was different 4 years ago at the world championships. If you compare that team to now, it is almost the same team. Only Hazard was injured. They also failed at the European Championships. If Belgium wants to win something, it has to happen this year. The 1-4 defeat against the Netherlands was for the Nations league. Belgium is a team that can beat anyone but also can lose. I'm sticking to Brazil this time. Or France. I think both countries also have the positive factor.

Nations league dosent matter much because no body is 100% serious in this kind of matches. Belgium was always in the quarters or semifinals but i really see them as one of the favorites due to the amazing team that they have this year for the world cup

Brazil 🇧🇷 are top favorites for the World Cup. They have won five times more than any other country.
Argentina🇦🇷 are next in line, they have been good recently, even with the winnings, Argentina are my second favorites.
Portugal 🇵🇹 comes next, The Portuguese team has been another good side but they have some big pot holes to fill, I don't see them coach as a good tactician for the World Cup. Belgium still maintain the top four position in the Male Fifa World Ranking bit that doesn't play them as favorites to win the World Cup.

Latin American duo Brazil and Argentina are very favorites to win the Qatar world cup title this year considering they have such an extraordinary generation so it's only natural that they are the favorites in the event while for the European continent alone only France and Germany can trouble the Latin duo. without underestimating teams like England and Belgium, we can say they are the dark horse team in the 4th annual event, because they are not a team with a winning mentality like France and Germany, so it's only natural that I don't put them in the top list of winners of the 4th annual grand event. the

France and Germany are not in good shape. Remember Germany losing to North Macedonia in the World Cup qualifier? And also, France was the favorites to win the Euro cup. Then what happened? They couldn't even qualify for the quarter-finals. During the PQF stage, they got beaten by Switzerland. And after that, there was a lot of controversy. Remember the one between the parents of Paul Pogba and Adrien Rabiot? Kylian Mbappe got involved as well. In case of Belgium, they are too dependent on Lukaku.
With the world cup yet to begin in September, both teams have still have time to prepare, reshape the squad and get back to form and winning ways. Alot can be achieved in this short space before the world cup begins so I have the feeling boths teams will back to form when the tournament begins. Belgium also have a good team with great talents and I expect them to make it to the round of 16 at least .

2 million is not so little, for example, Iceland with a population of just over 300 thousand people relatively recently got to the final part of the World Cup, and reached the quarter-finals at the European Championship. There will also be surprises at this World Cup, maybe not from such small teams, but I wouldn't be surprised if some African team makes it to the later stages of the tournament.
Too early to conclude who is going to win and who will reach to the top.
Once the teams will enter the ground that will show how they are going to perform.

North Macedonia is a strong team - they did not let the European champions - Italy into the World Cup  Wink
But seriously, at the moment it is generally impossible to predict who will be in what shape by the beginning of the World Championship, since a lot will depend on which training programs the club coaches will choose.

Yes. North Macedonia is unlucky to have missed the boat to Qatar 2022. But then, who expected them to defeat teams such as Italy and Germany? It is a small nation of 2 million people, and most of us doesn't even know where that country is located. I was just trying to point towards the uncertainty in predicting the winners. This time also, we can expect some of the big teams to get kicked out quite early and some of the less fancied teams to advance to the later stages (similar to what Croatia did last time).

At the moment it seems to me that France and Germany have only qualified for the World Cup in their name but their team communication is not the same as before. The two most promising teams in this year's World Cup are Brazil and Argentina. Maybe one of these two teams will build the World Cup trophy on their own.
All the teams that will participate in this World Cup are very strong. However, I think the two teams that will be fighting the most this time are Argentina and Brazil. However, I have a lot of faith and hope that the chances of Argentina winning the World Cup this time are much higher.

Many of us think that the Argentine team is only dependent on Messi. But now the Argentine team is much more stable and consistent. Their match strategy is beautiful. Earlier, Argentina's defence was weak, but now they are strong enough. Argentina is no longer dependent on Messi at all. Proof of this we have seen well in the Copa America Cup. And one of my favourite teams to win the next World Cup is Argentina.
You was right many of us think about Argentina is not favorite team depend how bad performance Lionel Messi with his club Paris Saint Germain, but I have different thing what happen with Lionel Messi between his club and country. Many time Lionel Messi success scoring goal when playing for his country Argentina, but he not confidence and not consistent for showing best performance with PSG, I don't care about how bad performance Lionel Messi with PSG but I believe he can give good reputation and show best performance trough Argentina, I will give and note list Argentina as favorite country on 2022 FIFA World Cup in Qatar.

I have two favourite teams for the World Cup title from South America (Brazil, Argentina) and two from Europe (France, Germany) now. There are some teams like Belgium and Portugal too but I feel like none of them will make it to the title. The reason why I see Germany ahead of the other big teams I mentioned is that they are improving themselves again to start performing like in the old times. I see a big potential in them in this tournament and I will see if I'm wrong about them.
Each of the 6 teams you mentioned has the potential to be champions. And I guess any of these 6 teams will win the title. Germany, Belgium's gameplay is good enough. As a team they are able to play well. The Portuguese team is dependent on Ronaldo. If Ronaldo can play well, Portugal's chances of winning the title will increase. Argentina and Brazil teams are very strong. The team has a lot of star players. But I would say their match strategy is a bit weak.
In my opinion, teams that rely on collective teams such as Spain, Brazil and Belgium have a relatively greater chance of winning than teams that rely on individuals such as Argentina who rely on Messi and Portugal with Ronaldo, I personally favor Belgium more in this case because they have players whose quality is quite balanced on every line and unlike Portugal and Argentina who have focused their game on Messi and Ronaldo so far.

Brazil or Argentina indeed both of them are the favourite for each world cup competition but admitted or not the performance of the team from South America is declining in this competition even since 2006 world cup champion always be dominated by European teams and in this year they have to prove that they can compete with European teams but besides that because the current world cup held in Asia so i hoping the Asian teams such as Japan, South Korea, Saudi Arabia, Iran or the host Qatar can giving impressive performance

I do not think so at all. If you looked at the oddmakers then you will see the results. Brazil may seem like a good bet, but France and England comes after them, then Spain, and after that Argentina. Which means that in the top 5, we have 3 Europeans.

I am not saying that Brazil or Argentina has no chance, but they certainly do have a tougher road, when European teams play, if one gets out the other continues but when Brazil or Argentina gets out, there is nobody else that can continue for them. I can see Brazil making the finals maybe if they face easier opponents. But I still think that France is clearly the best team right now in the world, they are just way too good.

I guess we should be open to many surprises! The time when it's playing, the place where it's playing... many things are different, and for sure all this will have some effects on teams and their performance!
Personally, I would like to see some new name taking the crown! I have some favorites, but I think it's too early to say anything, we need to wait and see the first games... after that things will be more clear!
And definitely, I count on Serbia to do something more this time! The team is nice, and I think they can do something only if the synergy in the team is on some higher level and if they really give 100% on the field! We will see, at this moment I believe in them, but we will see their performance in the first games...

Let me take a second and name a few: we have Ronaldo, Fernandes, Felix, Silva, Jota, Leao, and several other well established players in the top European leagues. I don't really see why Portugal shouldn't have a chance at all. It is not even all about Ronaldo anymore. That team can beat any team on a good day, but as you said they aren't the most stable team right now so they can also concede a couple of goals within a single game.

As I said before it really boils down to the form the teams will have at the World Cup, whether anyone gets a covid infection and can't play and so on and so forth. On paper right now I would say that Portugal might not be a favorite, but would you say that they are easy to beat?

Ronaldo is a class apart. He can't be compared with anyone else. Players such as Diogo Jota, Rafael Leão and André Silva are very talented, but none of them can replace Ronaldo if he is not there in the squad. Take out Ronaldo from the Portugal team, and I am sure that they will struggle to remain in the top-15 ranking. Players like Ronaldo makes life easier for the other players in his team. Because the opponents will be completely focused on him, and using this opportunity the other players can make attacking moves.
Christiano Ronaldo is legendary and an exceptional player who has been in spotlight for decades breaking and recreating records truly he cannot be compared with anyone else. Players such as Diogo Jota, Rafael Leão and André Silva are very talented, but none of them can replace Ronaldo. He has proven himself on a number of occasions in different leagues scoring goals and winning trophies for clubs he plays, indeed player like Ronaldo makes life easier for the other players in his team. Portugal will find it difficulty fonding a replacement for him and will feel his absence when he retires.

No doubt about how talented with Cristiano Ronaldo but I am not believing Portugal will reach potential result on 2022 FIFA World Cup in Qatar, usually not only on club but also on national country should focus and try give chance for Cristiano Ronaldo scoring goals. I think that the problem faced if Portugal keep try to make Ronaldo as regular and important player, less contribution from other player like Diogo Jota, Rafael Leão and André Silva until Bernando Silva can show their best performance and skill with Portugal national country. I think football is unity team and not as individual skill and who ever got bigger chance for scoring goal should give them chance.
Cristiano Ronaldo will continue to be the main focus for the Portugal national team in this year's Qatar world cup even though he is no longer young and has very little contribution to the Portuguese national team, but Ronaldo will still be an important player in Portugal's starting line-up considering this will be the world cup his last in the soccer dance with the national team, it is very difficult for competitors to replace the position of the 38-year-old winger if he is still playing in football, although we know the quality of Bernardo Silva diogo jota and even the rising star Rafael Leao will be very difficult to replace Mega the star
