principle is not a very large amount, so divide into several coins is not worth it,I would advise you to invest the entire amount in ether, while its price is relatively small due to the fall

This is very small for investment. My opinion is that such a small amount can be invested in one little-known but promising token. I did so with the CPC, bought $ 200 for $ 0.08 and sold in January for $ 0.77. Now you can buy it again. The price is now $ 0.14

If you are can wait for a long time to get your profit, I think you can think about investing in ethereum, bitcoin, monero, litecoin, iota and neo.

Investing just a little bit won't give you back a big change on your capital for sure because it's too small to effect to your capital.
But the good point is you won't lose much if you're in the loss.

I think RIPPLE and LTC is the good worth buying now. At this moment the price is very low and it's had a great potential and the cheapest coins.

I think that NEO and DASH are worth your attention. You can consider these options because they have great potential, not like btc and ether but still not bad enough. I m not great expert but I know specialists who recommend using them

500$ seems like a good amount to invest, maybe you should wait a little for the prices to fall even more, and then buy, I'd recommend Ethereum , EOS and NEO, the three of them look good specially ethereum.
