No doubt or a surprise to me see Nigerian players starting to do well in their various clubs, For sure Nigeria got talented footballers but one major problem we have faced is selection, when it comes to selecting the right players that will represent us in the world it becomes politicised, where those players that has Godfather will be picked and the talented ones will be left behind. Check back days during the era of Daniel Omekachi, Garba lawal and like of other including keeper like peter Rufai and all players that participated in Atlanta (1996) when football in Nigeria was base on your skills. However I believe that most this new guys now that got the opportunity to play in English and European football have come to realizing the need to improve their style of play.

What kills football games is when the management is not been fair but partial, trying to make it as an affair that will only favour friends and family.  What will get are players that are not qualify , this is the problem most National football are facing. Football should be transparent and not for selfish gains.

It's really intriguing to see how many Nigerian players are excelling in the English Premier league and it shows how much improvement we are experiencing in the Nigerian football federation and in Africa at large. African football is developing and improving rapidly. Too bad Liecester lost at home to Southampton 3:2. I can't really say what the problem is with this Liecester side.

They should develop honestly, talking about Nigerian football is tiring for me lately. Good we have them representing at the World Cup.

As per the match yesterday, The foxes and the saints went straight up drawing the first half with the score been goalless.
Second half saw James Madison put a sublime free kick at the back of the net for the foxes to give them the lead on the 54th min's that was world class finishing. Leicester City have been poor so far getting just a single point from three game's. This performance shouldn't get em relegated.

Both Charlie Adam's and Ward Prowse had roles to play to the build to the second goal for the saints as the second goal was acrobatic shot into the net. I hope they get better after this! Score line was 1------2

Real Keen to see how they progress in the premier league, backing Joe Aribo. I'm more concerned over him as I demand and want more from him off and during National Nigerian game's and during clubs side's.

Unlike previous transfer window, Nigerian players were highly rated this window as many were moved to higher clubs. Today Leicester City will be playing Southampton and the battle in the midfield will be piloted by Nigerians (Joe Aribo vs Ndidi). It's quite interesting to see the Nigerian players begining to get the attention that they deserve and this will make them setup since they now realized they have a high chance of getting interest from higher clubs if they perform well and indirectly this will also improve the Nigeria squad and we can win trophy when local tournament are been played.

Wilfried Ndidi is a top class player but lately his been prone to injury real quick and that sucks for both club side at Nigeria at most when you needs his service. Joe Aribo came to limelight recently but he has been focused and chasing growth just as it should be. Yeah they lock down today during the noon hour and I hope to see a goal once more from Aribo. Senior Man Khez ( Kelechi Ihaenacho ) what's good with that nigga ? He's been on a low key, could that be due to the total team performance ? Also Lookmam Left for Atlanta I'll keep a close eye on him to see how he's been! Hope Nigerians and African's keep giving it them hundred and all.

Wilfried Ndidi at a time attracted big suitors but all didn't come to reality. If he was a French Lad, I bet you he must have been recruited by Real Madrid or another World Class Club!

Good one for the Strong Nigerian. Africans are mostly over looked during such.
I wish her well if she wins and if not good luck ahead in the new season.
European's are more likely to win, but she has been real impressive for year's.
I think everything rely on voting and let's watch how everything will play out. It all depends if the got the talent and love from fan to be able to reach such level of her winning as the best. For me I think her chances of winning looks very slim look at how good she is compared to other opponents.

Getting the winner from the 3 participants may be very difficult but we just have to accept how the outcome will play out whether the emerged winner is either black or white. I don't know who could win now but all I expect is to see the winner.

On Aug 18, 2022 Ghana had a poor outing against the Netherlands in the 2022 FIFA Women’s World Cup. They conceded 4 goals and was able to find the back of their opponent's net just once.

Sorry this isn't the main FIFA Women's world cup right? This is just the U20. Nevertheless Ghana isn't a nation I consider them to represent African well be it their men or women squad. While Ghana is losing, the Nigerian women are defeating big nations and that goes to show the distance between the two nations. Well hopefully Ghana bounce back as them winning benefits African as a whole.

I know that people may argue about the penalty kick that would have been awarded to Ghana when the match was just 1 - 0 but I would say it would not have changed the score line because something seems totally off with the Ghanaian team. What I noticed was that the team seemed disorganized from the onset, they had a poor strategy and didn't really show any hunger for winning, therefore the losses they have experienced throughout the tournament.

Nigeria vs South Korea FIFA U-20 Women’s World Cup was played today. It was a keenly contested game. Both teams were solid. But in the end, the match ended 1 - 0 in favour of the falconets. Kudos to the team, especially to Sebastine, Onyenezide, Demehin and Idoko. They now have 6 points in their group and move onto the quarter finals. Thursday is the next match. It is not over until it is over. They shouldn't get carried away and draw back if their ultimate ambition is to win the cup.
Nigeria women are doing very  well this time in football, their games always end with a good result,  they are more active and consistent than even our super eagles,  congratulations to the women league.  Even if they didn't score much goals atleast they tried their best to win the game.

Asisat oshola is a well talented players that always know what to do best, I won't be surprised if she wins  because I know she is very capable of winning. I congratulate her to be the first African woman to be nominated  for the Ballon d'or, it is not easy to reach this height.
There is no player that is not talented that is what people mist coat or misunderstand some particular players what kills the talent of a player is when it entered into a wrong club that everybody in there is looking for a personal way to progress before someone being in a good club you know quite well that yes it has undergone many test so I just want to say that none of the players football players that is not talented

There are  some strong contenders on that Nomination list, it may be difficult for her to win but not impossible. Beth Mead has some pretty good chance following her influence in the English women winning their very first major women's championship, the Euro 2022, which they hosted on home soil.
I wish Asisat Oshoala well however.
Oh that's true and Oshoala also lost the WAFCON title this year as she got knockout with Nigeria. It was a surprising feeling as Nigeria has always been dominant in that tournament. Now I just wished we (Nigeria) won it again so it increase her chances because I know club-wise she's good and playing for a very respected club Barcelona. Irrespective of what happens we'll celebrate her and she's breaking boundaries.
If she continues playing good football as she is, she might just win it when next the award come up.  First the ladies have to go to the world cup and perform instead of just been participants. Which she (Oshoala) will be a very important figure for the girls to be triumphant.

I think she will be able to have a really good performance in the world cup. Oshoala is a great player and what she can do is obviously not going to be able to be decided by just the Ballon d'Or. She is the hope of an entire region. Nigeria has always been one of the best in this region. And she has an important role to play in the Nigerian squad. She is also a very important player for Barcelona right now. And I am quite sure that she will continue to play a boil like this in the future.

https://www.goal.com/en/lists/women-s-ballon-d-or-2022-nominees-announced

This is the list of the women players who have been nominated for the Ballon d'Or award. There do seem to be some really good competitors for her, so she'll have her work cut out for her. Despite this, I believe she had the most impactful performance out of all the players on this list, as far as I am concerned. She is now the hope of a whole region, and that is one of the most important things about her. It is my belief that it will be her. Nevertheless, it is not going to be unbelievable if someone else is the winner.

Asisat Oshoala officially becomes the first African Woman to be nominated for the Ballon d'or...
Wow, super proud of her! Not just because she is Nigerian, but considering that she just won the CAF player awards 2022 for women.

Big congratulations to her, do you think she can win.

Big congratulations to her, do you think she can win. I know she has already dominated the Africa space by winning the WAFCON Best player countless time. It was just right she try to conquer the world as she has already conquer Africa. She is doing very well club wise and country wise hopefully she goes on to be victorious.

Ronaldo did work for all he has achieved so far, nothing came easy for him, so when you see such you does deserves double of the accolades, as I'm ready to tell my third generation about this lad. Winning mentality of that player should not be compared to another.

And you think Messi didn't work for all he got, it's one thing to have talent and another to utilized it. We have many skillful footballers that aren't at the top of their game because they aren't disciplined and ready to work e.g Hazard etc.

Mane is the African Giant is now clearly seen no shades.

Mane and Salah seemed to me to be the best 2 African players of the EPL until this season. Now, however, Mane has left so there is no longer any doubt. I think Mane is underestimated by many people. He has often played for Salah. If Liverpool hadn't had mane in all those years, Salah would have been much less noticed and much less successful I suspect. There are still more African players around in the EPL, but none can practically compare to Salah and or Mane until this season. But last season it was just a little less with Salah. In the end, he is still too erratic.
ND football there is no person that you can grantee the best footballer but the problem is that if you want to choose base in your locality you can pick one or two persons as your best player so far you do like but when you come in terms of international European League but you can see that many people is good And you will find it very difficult to understand exactly the one that you will pick out the best footballer so far so I don't believe all agree that this person is the best footballer so far
