Nigeria scored 10 goals vs Sao Tomé-et-Principe! 7 of these goals were scored in the second half Roll Eyes Their opponent is a weak team but ten goals is a slaughter.
Morocco odds @1.07 - Liberia @26. Another big score for today?

By seeing the match between Nigeria vs Sao Tome and Principe is not balanced, it is too easy for Nigeria to face its opponent. The country of sao tome has always been the scapegoat for matches between countries on the African continent. I hope the country of sao continues to learn in the world of football.

Did anyone watch the Nigeria game, I don't think I have even seen the Super eagle playing the way they just did few hours ago. From the start of the game, I knew this was going to be an easy win. Victor Osimhen scored in the 9th minute and ended the game with four goals.  As you can see from the image below, Nigeria scored 10 times. I don't think I have watched a game played by the super eagle that ended in this scoreline.  I still don't understand why Victor Osimhen isn't playing in the premier league yet. Chelsea should go get him as their striker as he has the talent.

Victor Osimhen has became the fastest player to reach 14 goals for the Super Eagles, the former record was held by Rashidi Yekini who is the highest goal scorers for Nigeria internationally with 37 goals. Do you think Victor Osimhen can surpass that record?.

Cameron Football association president Samuel Etoo has rejected Joel matip request to represent the the indomitable lions of Cameron.. matip some years ago had left the national team ..Etoo why reacting to it said only players that qualified the indomitable lions of Cameron for the world cup will be allowed to play the world cup.. He further said that there is no sacred cow that everyone wil be made to adhere to the rules and regulations of the team. Cameroon qualified and will play in group G with the likes of Switzerland...Brazil and Serbia in that group...

This has to be a lesson to the other players who feel they are bigger than the national team.. Etoo further said he was a big player and played for big clubs but always respected the fact that he wore the Cameroon jersey and was always available for every call from the national team..
I think this is a good decision from Cameron Football Association and Samuel Etoo, it clearly shows discipline and love for the country and the team. This is something we clearly miss out in the Super eagles camp. We have had these situations in the Super Eagles where certain players had to be coarsed to come play for their country. Players should be willing to play for the love of the nation and the badge not feeling too important and bigger than their nation they play for.  Loyalty to one's country should come first.

The misunderstanding between Morocco's  Bosnian coach Vahid Halilhodžić and Hakim Ziyech is very complicated. The coach has accused Ziyech of faking injury and arriving late to camp. Hakim has maintained that he was really injured but the coached stated that that medical team has certified that Ziyech was fit and okay to play. The coach later decided to omit the player from the Nations cup squad and this made Ziyech to retire from international football. For me this misunderstanding might be as a result of personality and the only way to solve this issue is that one of them have to stay out of the team. And Ziyech chose to retire and stay away from the team. I believe he would return when Halilhodžić leaves the national team of Morocco.
Yeah most likely this will be the only scenario where Ziyech will get back to the national team. Having the actual coach leave the team. But honestly if this is the only reason to have all this fight, then I think both of them are wrong and things shouldn't go too far like that Undecided
Morocco will play tomorrow vs Liberia, they will win most likely and they will be one step closer for taking the first place since they have a total of 4 games only in this group.

This has to be a lesson to the other players who will abandon their country to play for a foreign country ..no body wants to play for there Africa team rather they want to play there ..

Good one, this is exactly why we advocate for more previous footballers to get involved in the politics of football. It just doesn't make sense when someone that doesn't know anything about football (haven't played or coach) for a club before take charge as president. Politics shoudn't be brought into football, they should be two different entity and we will begin seeing results. Right now, this can't happen in Nigeria as everyone seems to have a slots on who they want to be in the national team, which make it very difficult to the coaches.

Samuel Etoo knows what's best for his nation, we have to stop worshipping this foreign players. If I remember currently, Dennis from Watford refused to play for Nigeria at the AFCON and he was given a slots for the current qualifiers and that of the Qatar (World cup). Things like this make foreign based players feel they're get away with anything but that shouldn't be so.

This is a good decision taken by Samuel Eto'o. He wanted to make a statement that a player needs to be committed and also learn how to respect football. You cannot touch hop around from one team to another like it is club football. This is absolutely a bold decision taken by Samuel Eto'o. I think this will have an effect on how foreign-based players are treated worldwide, they will also understand that they cannot just get away with anything they do.

Nigerian Super Eagles' next match is against  Sao Tome and Principe on Monday. The team lost their last match against Guinea-Bissau 5 goals to 1. We expect that Super Eagles to improve more. There are speculations that William Troost-Ekong the Nigerian Captain might not play that match because of a groin injury he picked up during the match on Thursday against Sierra Leone. Although Troost-Ekong is an outstanding defender but I am sure players like Chidozie Awaziem and Kenneth Omeruo would comfortably replace him. Sao Tome and Principe is currently at that bottom of Group A and Nigeria is in second position. A win against them will boast Nigeria chances of qualifying for the Nations Cup.
Nigeria’s last match against Sierra Leone was a lucky win. To be honest, Sierra Leone were more impressive in the game, they were just unlucky. Peseiro is no better than Rohr, nothing will change with Peseiro. He played two central midfielders and none of them is defensive, Sierra Leone had opportunities for good counter attack because of this flaw from Peseiro.
Seems it is getting worse for nigeria, Nigeria challenge of bad performance is not just a problem of coach,  the team lack good players. The team is not ready to get talented players that are competent, the new coach is not happen matters , their is nothing to show that the will do better .

Matip is a good player but sadly can't represent the team following there soccer presidents Samuel Eto's ruling. This is by far a positive development as it would build in players the zeal to push forward to some worthy representation of the fall they play under. Very impressive of Eto to have come by this decision and hope he abides as he himself was once a senior player of the team.

but what I noticed is that the Moroccan team did not include Ziyech, the Chelsea player, due to some disagreements with the coach. Perhaps he will not also participate in the World Cup, so the Moroccan Football Association must solve this problem..
Ziyech is refusing to play with Morocco under the actual manager who won't include him too after a disciplinary sanctions that I forgot why it was made in the first place.
Anyway since he talked about Ziyech deceased father not being here to educate his son, or something like that, then the player announced that he won't be with the squad. It is unfortunate for both, Ziyech and Morocco.

Ghana suffer heavy defeat for International Friendly against Japan
Source: https://www.bbc.com/pidgin/articles/cglxy060zmpo

Saw this scorelines and I was thinking it's in relation to the AFCON qualifiers but it isn't and the Ghanaian should be grateful to that as that would had been a disgrace. Is this how they want to represent us at the world cup tournament in Qatar. Looking at the head to head stats it seems Japan has a thing of always beating Ghana as they have won them numerous times. Ghana would be playing South Korea, another Asian nation in the World cup group stages and I hope they don't put on an awful display as this one.

Ghana didn't have their full squad available due to injuries so that can be used as an excuse although they Ghana has to up their games as their recent matches has just been draws after draws. Even thier ticket to the world cup tournament was won through two draws against Nigeria.

A win against Sao Tome will be necessary as it will increase their chances of getting into the Nations cup. Although they are fond of loosing to small countries that one will least expect, but I believe Sao Tome will be a piece of cake for the Nigerian side as already, the side is packed full with deadly go- for- goal players. I hope to see a thrashing come Monday tho and also believe that the absence of Troost Ekong will not be a setback for them.

Egyptian are getting angry from Egypt performance so far in this competition and they are calling for the coach and the federation to be sacked! It isn't acceptable for them to see their team failing vs Ethiopia for several reasons Wink

Egypt has good front, people who can score goals, somebody like Salah is enough for Egypt's attack, but they lack good defenders that can defend the ball from entering the net, they lack a good holding midfielder that can control the midfield, and is not scared of pressure that will mount on him if he holds the ball. And secondly, the inability to fall back when they have lost the ball upfront,it is one of the reasons why they lost that match. Therefore,if they can work on those points, they will win matches on a regular.
Ehab Galal is very irritated with his current team after losing 0-2 to Ethiopia where the Egyptian defense performed so badly in that match it was evident where they conceded two goals in the first half while making Egypt only get three points in two games. the match they played in the African cup qualifiers and currently Egypt is in the caretaker position.with such a long journey we are very confident with the performance of Muhammad Salah and his friends in the African cup qualifiers that they can qualify easily

Very annoying performance here so far by the Egyptian team even with the presence of Mohammed Salah they're still 2 goals down .

Did you even watch the match? Mo Salah was absence from the starting lineup and neither was he substituted into the game. I didn't watch the game myself but when I saw them losing, I have to check if Mo Salah was playing but he wasn't. I won't blame him though because he need some rest. He has been playing games after games and has been putting in impressive display and since this is just qualifiers, Egypt should be able to qualify even though Mo Salah isn't playing. He does need some rest as the new season is just around the corner.

Egypt are currently at the buttom of their group and it seems they do need Mo Salah. Thankfully they have about 4 games left to pull something out of this qualifiers. They are capable of beating all their group mate so I don't understand why they're trying to bottle this one.

Very astonishing first half for me they really need to work on their defense regards to the second half of the game, What a loosed defense right now. With the way in which they are playing right now it will be difficult for them to come out victorious in this game , looking at things.

Not only annoying but it was a disappointment to see Egypt beaten by Ethiopia. Both goals were scored in the first half and Egypt team wasn't able to narrow down the lead even though Egypt had more possession of the ball (57% to be exact).

With this Egypt are at the bottom of Group D while Ethiopia is on the top, however, every team in this group has won one match and lost one.

With only 15 minutes left on the game, I doubt that Egypt could do something unless Ethiopian players gets exhausted. No real threat for the opponent = defeat.

Egypt did not do much to return the result and achieve victory, and you know I am betting on it. I was not accurate in my choice, but the Moroccan team made me happy after defeating them in the first half. He was able to return and achieve victory in the second half, but what I noticed is that the Moroccan team did not include Ziyech, the Chelsea player, due to some disagreements with the coach.
