Currently Ghana has won more game against Nigerian which is 25 compared the Nigeria just winning them 12 times. Both teams has played 19 draw so a draw between both teams isn't slim but be rest assured both teams will put in their best performance.
The Ghanian side should not be underated, likewise the Nigerian side with very many quality players plus a team that did well in the just concluded AFCON. It seems the Ghanian midfielder Majeed Ashimeru
may not play in the game due to injury, it will be a big disappointment for  him and the black stars especially since he was just voted as "player of the month" for his club side. Edmund Addo, a midfielder for the black side has been ruled out as well due to injury, there's still Partey though for the black stars who is in top form. For the super eagles, the only person i know will not future is the our goalie from the AFCON Maduka Okoye, he will be replaced with John Noble who is also a very good choice. There are many Nigerian players that i will love to see their performance at the world cup level against bigger teams, i sincerely hope the Super eagles qualify for the world cup.

We all know bone side proceeds to the next level and one side goes back home at the end of the both legs.
But I envisioned a much interesting game amongst them both, the hateas and beef and trollings will continue.
Whoever wins gets to mock the other, and Nigerians bare know to be good trollers, I just can't wait if Nigeria wins fine, if they don't fine, let the best side represent Africa very well at the World Cup.

The list of Attacking players that arrived at the camp catches my fancy.
The likes of Emmanuel Dennis, Victor Oshime, Lookman, I was surprised to see him honestly.
Great to see so much attacking strength, scary positions are now the defensive midfield, since Ndidi is currently absent.
I wouldn't advice any Nigerian to place to much hopes on the Nigerian teams coz when you do that's when they break you .
We're use to this feeling though, feels like Arsenal of old Grin
This encounter between the Super Eagles and the Black Stars of Ghana will be quite important because both countries are fighting in the World Cup, but only one of them will qualify.
The Nigerian players who have arrived are fully prepared, and the Ghanaian players have also arrived and are fully prepared. This will be a difficult match, and I can't wait for Friday to arrive.

Ghana-nigeria the probability of playing draw is slim,

Actually it isn't slim, I won't be surprised if both teams play a draw game in both legs and it result to a penalty shootout to get the nation that qualifed for the world Cup. Ghana vs Nigeria is one of the biggest rivalry of football especially when it comes to African football. Currently Ghana has won more game against Nigerian which is 25 compared the Nigeria just winning them 12 times. Both teams has played 19 draw so a draw between both teams isn't slim but be rest assured both teams will put in their best performance.

You can visit the Wikipedia page of Ghana–Nigeria football rivalry read through to get more insight on how intense this game is, normally intense games usually leads to a draw and now that both nations have important key players missing, I won't be surprised at a draw.

God is great
The Goodnews is that we're now on international breaks and the focus for Africans will be qualifying for the world cup. This week we'll see lots of matches been played and the next week we have the final five that'll be representing Africa at Qatar. What's your prediction on the 1st leg for each fixture.

Ghana vs Nigeria: 2.75/2.8/2.7. Odds are completely open! I would guess a draw here.

DR Congo vs Morocco: 3.2/2.95/2.3. Congo did not qualify for the Africa cup. I think Morocco will have the upper hand after both games, but this first game could also end with a draw.

Cameroon vs Algeria: 2.15/2.9/3.5. Cameroon will win this. 1-0 or 2-0

Mali vs Tunisia: 2.2/2.85/3.5. They played in the Africa cup where Mali won 1-0. I think Mali will be able to win their home game as well.

Egypt vs Senegal: 2.75/2.85/2.65. Everybody is waiting for this match as it's the repeat of the Africa cup final! Odds show that it is completely open! I expect a draw here or a lucky strike of either team to win 1-0. Senegal is the favorite to qualify, but Egypt's home game could take a different turn!

Ghana-nigeria the probability of playing draw is slim, I feel nigeria may likely win Ghana, Nigeria team is more tougher than the Ghana team on a regular.  Its even Egypt-Senegal that may likely end with a draw because this 2 teams are strong team that its very hard to predict correctly which one of them will win the game. It is certain that Cameroon will win Algeria based on their performance in the concluded afcon tournament.

Match results are in, just as I previously predicted, Ghana defeated South Africa, game ended 2:0. The biggest wins so far came from the defending champions as they won against Zambia by 5:0 scoreline. Mo Salah's Egypt has already began this tournament on a low form by drawing 1:1 to kenya in their first home game, very disappointing if you ask me.

Round 1 matches continue today while round 2 begins tommorow. The tournament is already living to expectations as it isn't shy of goals and also filled with outstanding display by the players.

Nice one from Ghana for performing very well with 2 goals , they dominated the match. I also predicted that Ghana will defeat South Africa, Ghana  players were more active in the game than the South Africa players. I think this tournament will be very interesting to see my favourite teams.

Read this in a news paper alongside the street that Nidid Wilfried will be out of that game.
I hope lossing a pivot in the middle, not just a pivot but very experienced midfielder in that position.
We should get a back up plan for him I believe,as I hope to see Dennis Emmanuel of Watford and Victor Oshime of Napoli who bagged a brace yesterday in Napoli's win over Udinese.
The world Cup will be a boring one if the African giant doesn't represent.

The stories are circulating online of how Ghana is planning using voodoo on Nigeria so they can win in that match. There are past records of Ghana using voodoo to win past matches in this same Kumasi stadium. I want their voodoo to fail this time and put them in shame.

It's Juju which one is voodoo, we call it the way it's called in Africa when discussing Africa football maybe if it's on other foreign league thread then we can call it that lol (joking). Already Nigerian fans are accusing Ghana of using it on Ndidi as he limped off from the match against Stade Rennais in the Europa league. His injury isn't much of a worry as we have a perfect replacement in Ogenyi Onazi. Hopefully though Ndidi recover before the match day because his experience is definitely above that of Onazi.

^ African nations are not at the same level as the bigger teams in the World Cup.

But that does not mean that Africa does not have talented players. We have players in Africa who can stand one on one with those other players you think are world class. Africa's problem is leadership and management of this talent coming up. And that is this players blossom once they go abroad and get coaches who knows what they are doing to help put them together on the field of play.

More countries from those continents can participate, since they show exquisite football, especially when African teams do those dances combined with football.
We should focused less on dancing and actually posing a threat to other westerner nations. African nation haven't impress me so far when it comes to the world cup. Even when we hosted it for the first time in South Africa, we couldn't make a statement and that was very disappointing.  Giving us more slot won't solve our problem although I'll be happy if that happens as that'll give room for more nations to compete.
Example just look at the play off, our best teams are playing themselves which means we'll be missing nations that could have pose a threat at the world cup. In other News

^ African nations are not at the same level as the bigger teams in the World Cup. I think it's about qualifying and going deep into the World Cup and not about how many teams are qualifying for the WC.

I can agree that when the World Cup was held in South Africa they did not perform very well in it. It would have been great if they could perform like Russia in the last WC. We all know that it was somewhat of a mystery why Russia was the host of the world cup but I think they proved that they are a better team than everyone thought about them. But the African nations could not do the same."

It is interesting, on the one hand there is Ghana, which is a very strong team and they really want to go to the World Cup again, the last time Ghana was in the World Cup I think one of their coaches was a Venezuelan also as support , here they were called the eagles of Ghana, really in that World Cup that team I really liked their uniform, on the other hand there is Nigeria that has great players, both for the African continent and for the South American continent they should expand the quotas much more so that More countries from those continents can participate, since they show exquisite football, especially when African teams do those dances combined with football.
Do you really think that 5 tickets to the World Cup are not enough for Africa? With every World Cup, there are 1-2 teams missing from Europe that can easily beat any African (or at least any African team outside of the top five). This year either Portugal or Italy will watch football on TV. It seems to me that this is a much greater loss for the World Cup than the fact that the 6th African team will not take part in the tournament.

^ I am really going to miss Portugal if they actually do not make it to the world cup. This might actually be the last world cup for Cristiano Ronaldo, so I would really like to see him in action in the world cup. But, on the other hand, Italy is also a great team and deserves to be in the WC too.

Now with these two players not playing against Nigeria because of having injury issues, I think Nigeria will have a really good chance of winning.
It will be so interesting to see all this players in the game, this set of players have always make the nigeria team to be tough , so I believe will with them nigeria will make a good performance.  For long Ahmed musa have not been playing in the nigeria team so I can't tell if he is the kind of good player I used to know.

I don't want an easy game as then the win won't be worth rubbing it on their face, Ghana is such a big rival of Nigeria that any advantage we have against them can be used as an excuse for their bad performance. The Nigerian squad is so strong that players like Alex Iwobi will be missing as Nigeria invite two new players, 30 others for Ghana clash.

Technical Adviser Augustine Eguavoen has called up Captain Ahmed Musa, deputy captain William Ekong, midfielder Wilfred Ndidi and forwards Moses Simon and Kelechi Iheanacho in a Super Eagles’ provisional list of 32 for the FIFA World Cup Qatar 2022 play-off round against the Black Stars of Ghana.

Everton’s Alex Iwobi was missing from the provisional list obtained by The PUNCH on Friday.

Also called up are goalkeepers Maduka Okoye and Daniel Akpeyi, defenders Kenneth Omeruo, Oluwasemilogo Ajayi and Abdullahi Shehu, midfielders Oghenekaro Etebo and Joseph Ayodele-Aribo, and forwards Victor Osimhen, Odion Ighalo and Samuel Chukwueze.....

^ Those are some really big statements to make. I hope they can deliver. But, I have to say it sounds really cocky. I hope they just don't take things too easy and play the natural football that they should play.
Another thing is, they are trying to make their opponent angry and steer them away from the actual game plan. But in the process, they might just be motivating their opponent.

Some major news update in regards to the Nigeria vs Ghana game. While I don't wish the Ghanian team any harm and hopefully they can have their full squad so we enjoy an entertaining match but recent development have been in the favor of Nigerian. Firstly, Super Eagles receive major boost ahead of World Cup playoffs then Injury crisis rocks Black Stars’ camp ahead of World Cup playoffs.

Ghana are likely to be without Baba Rahman and Kamaldeen Sulemana for this month’s 2022 World Cup playoff against Nigeria. Both players are currently nursing injuries which could keep them out of the two matches.

Rahman and Sulemana didn’t feature for their clubs last weekend and no date has been pencilled in for their possible return. Baba Rahman last played for Reading on February 19, while Kamaldeen Sulemana was left out of Rennes game against Angers last weekend.

The match is to be played on the 25th of March so probably this players should be fit before then unless their injuries are severe. I don't have any information on this yet but I'll be keeping the thread updated with developing news on this issue.

^ It's going to be a big problem for Ghana to lose Baba Rahman and Kamaldeen Sulemana for the match against Nigeria.
You know, Baba Rahman was really a very important defender for Ghana. And Kamaldeen Sulemana gives the team a lot more attacking stability.

Now with these two players not playing against Nigeria because of having injury issues, I think Nigeria will have a really good chance of winning.
