I just hope that Nigeria behaves themselves in today's game against Ghana oh. They have this annoying habit of relaxing when they score a goal. Ghana will do anything to make sure they win both legs and if our naija guys like, make them come dey form ajebo for field. Well I'm expecting a suspenseful derby sha.
Ghana is not an easy opponent for Nigeria. Nigeria will have to give 100% in both games if they want to beat them. I would actually prefer both teams to qualify for the World Cup (there are much weaker teams in some of the other games), but we have to arrange with the system of qualification here...

A rival game is far beyond form and team quality. I saw clips of their training session yesterday it looked like a match. The stadium in Kumasi is one that the Ghanaians have made their slaughter ground. It's a huge task the super Eagles have in hand today. I am confident looking at the quality of players we have. There is great disparity in the quality of players between the two countries. The Super Eagles have more stars than the Ghanian team I

The Ghanian side should not be underated, likewise the Nigerian side with very many quality players plus a team that did well in the just concluded AFCON.

That means it is going to end in a draw if we take it that both teams should not be underrated. We can say we respect Ghana as a soccer nation but that does not mean Nigeria will not defeat them in today's game. Did we not also beat them in the just ended AFCON? Nigeria will beat them again even on their soil. All the noise of consulting talismen to help them defeat Nigeria will crumble tonight.

It seems the Ghanian midfielder Majeed Ashimeru
may not play in the game due to injury, it will be a big disappointment for  him and the black stars

That is also how Nigeria will miss the creativity of Wilfred Ndidi in today's match and I want to hope it does not rob us of defeating Ghana.

Creativity you say, I think you have to go take a clear look at what role be plays in Leicester City.
Wilfried Ndidi is more of a defensive midfielder than creativity, he helps in tacklings, ball recovery and keeping possession.
Closing down for defender's in the process when they over lap's,.
He is going to be missed but not in the area of creativity, I hope to see a perfect replacement but not sure who could come up for him.

It is interesting, on the one hand there is Ghana, which is a very strong team and they really want to go to the World Cup again, the last time Ghana was in the World Cup I think one of their coaches was a Venezuelan also as support , here they were called the eagles of Ghana, really in that World Cup that team I really liked their uniform, on the other hand there is Nigeria that has great players, both for the African continent and for the South American continent they should expand the quotas much more so that More countries from those continents can participate, since they show exquisite football, especially when African teams do those dances combined with football.

Do you really think that 5 tickets to the World Cup are not enough for Africa? With every World Cup, there are 1-2 teams missing from Europe that can easily beat any African (or at least any African team outside of the top five). This year either Portugal or Italy will watch football on TV. It seems to me that this is a much greater loss for the World Cup than the fact that the 6th African team will not take part in the tournament.

Well, the truth is that either of these two teams hurts me a lot, on the one hand I love the football that Italy has, and on the other hand I want to see CR7 if he can win this World Cup, I understand that this could be his last World Cup and it would be a shame, Furthermore, there would be no excuse for the critics of the world who say that both Messi and CR7 played their last CR7 World Cup, it was not because they did not qualify.

However, with these arguments, it is true, in Europe they have a very good level of football. I don't know if now with everything that is happening in the world these African teams have improved much more, I particularly like these styles of football that they show.

It's painful how they took Italy out, especially a team like North Macedonia, silenced one of the forerunners of soccer, it's been 3 times that Italy hasn't gone to a World Cup.

Egypt as a host will playing against Senegal today and so far both of teams were unbeatable since group stage but from head to head statistics indeed Senegal records was more good than Egypt but i think currently home team had good motivation to revenge because they were very disappointed to be defeated in the African cup and Egypt confirmed in the good condition and all of players are ready to play and for bet option i will pick Egypt win this time
Today, Africa will provide the world with two interesting and highly competitive matches, Egypt vs Senegal and Ghana vs Nigeria. These two matches will be extremely difficult because these four teams all wanted to play in the World Cup, but only two of them should qualify. I am aware that Senegal is a very strong team and the African defensive champion, so they have a chance to win. Similarly, Nigeria, despite their elimination in the round of 16, managed to perform well in the AFCON, and you believe they will do so again to show their great performance.

The match between senegal and egypt can be said as a bitmatch, because both countries now have great players and play in big european clubs, I think now egypt has a tough job to be able to automatically qualify for the 2022 world cup, because I see senegal is a pretty strong team, moreover some time ago Senegal managed to beat Egypt in the African Cup, of course the match will be full of revenge missions by Egypt for the defeat in the African final last February.

[@bering link I hope that both Salah and Mane can play, because these two will push their teams limits to the maximum, and in turn this will provide us with a competitive match to watch. Also I feel that Egypt will be more motivated to win after that heartbreaking loss against Senegal in the finals, hence I strongly feel that Egypt will be able to beat Senegal.

Senagal is the most informed African nation, they're our best bet we have going into the world cup, if we intend seeing an African country go far. I can't even trust my nation to perform well but Senegal has all it take so obviously I'll be favoring them over Egypt. Mo Salah doesn't perform well with Egypt as he does with Liverpool so we shouldn't be expecting much. The last time this two met you can see Mane constantly putting in effort to motivate his team mate but Salah wasn't doing anything.

Mo Salah doesn't make this rivalry interesting to watch. Egypt surviving will totally depend on how good their goal keeper will be today. Egypt national team produce great goal keepers and we can see how good their goal keeper was at the just concluded AFCON. Hopefully he turns up to save them today against an attacking Senegal.

DRC @3.3 - Morocco @2.3
Mali @2.17 - Tunisia @3.6
Cameroon @2.18 - Algeria @3.45
Ghana @2.6 - Nigeria @2.8
Egypt @2.65 - Senegal @2.85

Conclusion: there isn't a single match where the result could be expected.
Nigeria and Senegal will have very hard times in their games. Algeria odds shouldn't be that much imo, they failed badly in the cup but I doubt they will continue performing that way in this game. Morocco to win, yeah probably. Mali - Tunisia could end up with a Tunisian surprise.
Man!! I'm still not sure concerning what to play and best about the Nigeria and Ghania.
Indeed it's a wonderful day also, I just can't decide the outcome of the game, but will sure be decided when the top like that.
Games are decided on the pitch and how they should play.
I would honestly go with Nigeria against Ghana. I personally think that Nigeria has a much better individual team and they had high hopes for their african tournament but werent lucky to go far. But i think they will knockout Ghana in that match against them
After I saw big Italy getting knocked out of the World Cup by a random team (no offense North Macedonia) and considering how random are the matches in Africa, well I wouldn't be surprised to see the total opposite of the expected results here!
Nigeria was kicked by Tunisia in Africa Cup and I believe Ghana is better than Tunisia so who knows? May the best team win since historical teams are being disappointing..

may not play in the game due to injury, it will be a big disappointment for  him and the black stars especially since he was just voted as "player of the month" for his club side. Edmund Addo, a midfielder for the black side has been ruled out as well due to injury, there's still Partey though for the black stars who is in top form. For the super eagles, the only person i know will not future is the our goalie from the AFCON Maduka Okoye, he will be replaced with John Noble who is also a very good choice. There are many Nigerian players that i will love to see their performance at the world cup level against bigger teams, i sincerely hope the Super eagles qualify for the world cup.

Judging by the odds offered by the bookmakers at the moment, these two teams are valued equally:

2,60 - 2,95 - 2,80

Ghana is a slight favorite due to being played at home. It is very difficult to say who will be the winner in this pair, but it seems to me that based on the games in the African Cup, you can bet that not both teams will score in this game.

That goal keeper was a disgrace and one of the reason we got knockout of a competition we were among the favorites to win. He wasn't even called upon that much for other games before that Tunisia game that we needed him the most and he under performed. I'm glad he isn't been featured. He should also drop the position as the first choice keeper. As for other players that'll be missing the competition. Ndidi is one of them and he is a very vital figure in our midfield. He's like the Kante of African even though Ngolo is an African but he isn't playing as one.

Nigeria’s football federation said on Monday he would miss their two-legged qualifying playoff against Ghana and was being replaced in the squad by Innocent Bonke.
Better. Football is not about having fine boy goalkeeper in the net. Our last defeat against Tunisia made me to swear not to watch Nigeria match again. Our boys were in high energy to lift the Afcon trophy but our lady's choice goalkeeper made us miss the opportunity.
Ghana, Nigeria match tomorrow will be a tough match, hoping that we come out victoriously.
Super Eagles players should better avoid special calls from Oga on the top

Talking about the goal that Tunisia knocked us out with at the last Afcon game, I don't agree it was the fault of the keeper and I have argued this with some guys also. That shot was a close range type and the keeper's view was blocked by one of the defenders, what about the shot he stopped because he clearly had a view of it so I don't blame the keeper but the players who don't look serious in their approach. If the players continue in the way they played in Afcon, qualifying for the world cup will be a difficult task to achieve.

Read this in a news paper alongside the street that Nidid Wilfried will be out of that game.
I hope lossing a pivot in the middle, not just a pivot but very experienced midfielder in that position.
We should get a back up plan for him I believe,as I hope to see Dennis Emmanuel of Watford and Victor Oshime of Napoli who bagged a brace yesterday in Napoli's win over Udinese.
The world Cup will be a boring one if the African giant doesn't represent.
The super eagle coach Eguavoen had already found a replacement for the injured Ndidi in person of Innocent Bonke a Lorient midfielder who had once replaced the same Ndidi in a world Cup qualifying match against Cape Verde, alternatively Etebo of Watford can also replace the injured Leceister City midfielder thus I don't think the Super Eagle will have any deficiency in that area of the team, they have a sharp attackers in Osimen, Iheanacho Dennis and Lookman, this is a crucial match and the Nigerian team is getting ready to take on their bitter rivals the Black Star of Ghana.

Here's the news;
Wilfred Ndidi has been ruled out of Nigeria’s World Cup playoff against Ghana through injury in a blow to the side's chances of winning a place in the finals in Qatar later this year. Ndidi, 25, was injured playing for Leicester City in the Europa Conference League against Stade Rennes last week, hurting his knee in a tackle and hobbling off.

Nigeria’s football federation said on Monday he would miss their two-legged qualifying playoff against Ghana and was being replaced in the squad by Innocent Bonke.
