So many of the alts im holding are near all time lows, its been a rough year for alts so far.

it is normal to the market that dumping of price. it is the right time now to buy some token before the price goes up . In a matter of time probably it will go up its a sort of waiting and holding right now. do not sell at loss now .
I believe some people, particularly whales are on the market, trying to manipulate and turn the prices of coins down. What i feel usually happens is that, they would have sold the coins they have in their portfolio, by converting them to fiat and cause another dip by coercing the weak hands or those who are easily affected by a downtrend in price, to sell what they have at cheaper rates. After achieving this, they will still manipulate and sell high.
I think altcoin for now is trying to increase and if you can see in the exchanges, many altcoins are on the green line and it starts to increase because of bitcoin price still on the downtrend. but the altcoin is not increased in the higher price but it's only getting up on a small percentage but I believe that for some of the altcoin, the price will increase so high and you can make a big profit this time.
