I agree that some alts won't be able to recover after this dump but it'll be fine if you guys are holding good altcoins in top 100 on Coinmarketcap. Beside with situation of crypto market at the moment, I think everything will rise back in 2020 instead of next year only
I think most of the projects won’t survive the current downtrend, so it was necessary to analyze your portfolio, read , whether the developers are active and make a decision. Just holding all the coins for a long time is a bad idea.

I think that if project is solid, should be checked before investing money, right? If someone chose coins, "because someone advised him," he can be in big trouble right now, because it's probably too late to get his money back. Yes, i still have the faith and positivity in holding coins for few years because this is the only i can make earn what is current loss the capital investment. Who knows with the market condition will get early recovered soon.
I am not against holding coins as this can be a better way to earn money in a passive way but it is not the most appropriate thing to do as of now because recovery is uncertain. What if the market will even fall very low and recovery would take a very long time to accomplish? So if you really need your money sell your altcoins so that we may also see what is the real volume of usage and from there know the real status of the altcoin.

It's very disappointing to invest in untrusted coins that in the first case was good but after few months they become inactive. Holding for one to two years is advisable when the coins are very promising and you have the assurance of profit.
There is no guarantee of profit and will never be on the cryptocurrency market. well, maybe when the market will be regulated, but even then it will just reduce the risk of loss, but does not guarantee profit
Now i collceted 45 types of cryptocurrencies with this bear market duration. So i think year 2020 all major cryptocurrency prices will be up. Anyway i hold my coins one or two years to reach my prices.

It depends on your patience sometimes waiting is not good enough for many people. But in crypto sometimes waiting for longtime has good result but not all the time for me im not a fan for long time hodling its kinda boring for me!Some ALTs will never recover from this crash!

Those shitcoins never recover and will be wiped out in the market without you noticing if you keep holding it so you are correct, we should immediately sell those and switch to an altcoin that really have a potential in long term holding. Besides, it may take time before bitcoin and these altcoins to recover but will not take a couple of years. 3 to 5 years is enough for bitcoin to reach an all time high and most altcoins will surely follow once that happen. Holding is one of the best strategy to earn a decent income.
Just like you say that if those altcoins decent to hold then i probably will do that but the future of altcoins is more unpredictable than bitcoin that some of altcoins might be will be dead without recover again but only several altcoins could survive and the price could be bounce back however before hold first of all we have to choose the right altcoins to do so and this is the hard part i think

If you sell all of your keeps at a very bad condition of crypto then you already at lose on the huge deficit but if you extend your patience for a long time then there is a probability that you will recover when the bull is gonna happen.
Yeah i know some tokens will never recover again. But there is a chance for the price will up again and it take long time for sure. If you have a potential token you must monitor it & have patiance. I hope this current condition will be better on next year.
